Nice camera, OK kit
The camera is great. Not at all sure about some of the kit items. (Battery lower capacity than the one in the camera, case strap clip came broken, extended warranty may be less than the OEM actually provided, so I'd probably skip the package deal - the extras did not match the value expected.)

WORKS VERY WELL
I purchased this camera for my wife, and she loves the quality of the images she takes, and the ease of operation. The one thing that I find bad (and maybe I'm missing it in the menu) but you can't set an ISO on this camera. Everything seems to be Auto. Otherwise, great choice and very happy.

A work of science and art
The DC-ZS70 is well made and sturdy. It fits the hand well. Controls are logical and not cheap feeling. It is compact and enough weight to feel strong. Pictures are sharp and playback easy. Touchscreen buttons are useful. A great value that offers many features found in more expensive SLRs.

Poor flash design
The camera performs as advertised however the flash in very close to the hand grip and more so than not when taking a flash photo your hand tends to interfere with the flash. Very poor design. Would not recommend the purchase of this camera if you want to use it indoors & need the flash.

Perfect Travel Camera
Purchased to replace an aging Canon G9 as a very light travel camera. Very impressed with the photos it takes - lens is very sharp and colors are amazing. The menu and LCD display can be a little confusing and suggest downloading the Advance Owner's Manual to get a better understanding.

The best camera is the one you have with you...
So much easier to take with you everywhere, this camera, with a very good Leica lens and 4K recording. I compared all cameras below say $700.00 and this one still won because you are more likely to always have with you. My third Panasonic Lumix of this type and so far the best!

Pocket Power
Got tired of lugging heavy gear on vacation trips and so researched small cameras. I am very happy with this one for its price and performance. I wanted a camera in this size and price range that could save RAW images, and this one does so. Five stars in its class.

Perfect on a hike
I have had several very small pocket cameras. Thus far, the Lumix DC-ZS70 has had the finest lens quality under all conditions, and the long zoom performs well above the average. I have not tried the video yet, but expect equivalent performances from it.

Easiest Purchase!
Got the product I wanted at a good price and received a charger and battery for free. The free charger an battery were both Panasonic and made for this camera. That was so much more meaningful than the cheap off-brands that are sometimes free. Thanks.

Great buy for the money
I have not used it much yet, but am amazed at its versatility. Huge learning curve. The 4K Video is not very good. Perhaps not even as good as my Canon GX 30 in Hi Def!!! Bog disappointment. Am really looking forward to shooting time lapse.

Last Digital Camera?
I never imagined that I would buy another camera. My iPhone is very handy and always in my pocket. But this LUMIX does so much more than my phone that I had to get it. And I love using it. I need to take a trip so that I can use it more.

A camera for Amateurs or Pros
This is the second camera in this series that we have owned. You can hand it to an untrained amateur who will get excellent results or hand it to a pro who can use all of its capabilities to the full extent of the cameras functions.

Awesome point and shoot
This little camera takes incredible photos. I decided on this one because it came with the most features similar to my dslr. I would highly recommend this camera to those who want more control but the ease of a point and shoot.

A very usable and capable camera

Needs better instructions.
The camera takes beautiful shots but the instructions are nothing less than laborious and hard to understand -- need to supplement it with YouTube videos and reviewer comments in order to get the most out of using it.

Jam packed with goodies.
Did my homework on this camera. Got lots of bells and whistles. Steep learning curve but that's the cost of doing business. Best in its class. Good deal from B&H even while taking a beating on my Canadian play money.

Just Started Using ZS-70
Got some very good close ups at the St Louis Zoo. The zoom is terrific. A little disappointed in the limited aperture range, particularly for sun rises and sunsets. With well lit subjects, photo quality is great.

easy and high quality
So far I find this camera very easy to understand. Makes fantastic pictures. The menu is very logical and the extensive instructions are great as well. The flash is very powerful for its size. So glad I got it.

Excellent camera!
Takes beautiful pictures and is very compact. Great for vacations. The feature to wirelessly transfer images to your phone or ipad works perfectly. Battery lasts long. Durable. I highly recommend this camera.

She loves it
I actually bought this for a friend. She loves the ease of use, altho o far she has just done basic photography with it--close-ups of flowers and birds. She especially likes the viewfinder.

Do not purchase
The LCD on my camera broke in less than 6 months. I returned the Camera to Panasonic. it Customer service from Panacare US is atrocious. They still have not replaces or repaired the camera.

great camera at fair light
if you need compact long zoom camera. this is the best you can find. at low light you should use your cell phone. the zoom is fantastic and 4K video is more than enough (100 Mbit ... )

FANTASTIC LITTLE CAMERA - GREAT GLASS
I bought this as a small, light-weight travel camera and was blown away by the quality of the image and the ease of use. Just a fantastic camera and absolutely razor sharp lens.

Love it
