Simply The Best Universal IEM there is!!
Build quality: The build quality of this IEM (in ear monitor) is pretty phenomenal, these are by far the most robustly built IEMs I've owned. The cable is thick and strong, yet pliable. I doubt the cracking issue from earlier models will plague this IEM, but even if it does, the cables are replaceable. Fit: Fit is clearly a personal thing, so my experiences may not ring true for others reading this. The earpieces are somewhat smooth though they a... Show More

Excellent but now afraid to loose them
After 12 years of intensive of my previous Shure headset I decided to upgrade to the 535's. I am not a musician or audiophile but do like to listen to music during my almost weekly intercontinental flights. When I first tried the 535's I continued with the album I left off (an acoustic life album of my favorite band) and I was thorough impressed. I heard things I thought I had never heard before. The sound seemed richer and especially in the mid ... Show More

The Best Headphones I've Ever Owned!
I am the furthest things from an audiophile, but I sure do enjoy a nice pair of headphones. In the last few years I've owned the Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10, Bose MiE2, Audio-Technica ATH-M50, Sennheiser HD595, V-moda M-100, etc. And I would have to say that these SE535's are by far the BEST sounding headphones I've ever used. The price is hefty, but it's worth every penny. I remember listening to a few songs & hearing aspects of the songs that I ... Show More

The Best Sounding In-Ear Headphones
Having owned many Shure headphone models, I finally decided to go up to their most expensive. I was not disappointed. The sound is second to none, the build quality is superb. It comes with many different size ear pieces and the ability to go to an audiologist to get fitted for custom sized inserts. It also comes with a volume control that attaches to the cord, but that is of poor quality. The plastic sides have already split apart simply from pu... Show More

Best sound isolation earphone
Picked up SE535 with the $50 promotion in Nov 2018. This is the best earphone I have used comparing to others such as Bose, Monster and Sennheiser in the past. Sound has so much depth and clarity is beyond description. Best suited for vocal and classical. The foam insert fits well and comfortable for 10+ hours on international flight. Not to mention cabin attendant has to wave hand to get your attention with the excellent sound isolation. Looking... Show More

Great In-ear monitor headphones
I am a worship leader that uses these earbuds on stage, as well as for listening to music at home. They are amazing when I am using them as a personal monitor on stage, as well as when I am listening to Hi-Res music on my MacBook Pro and DragonFly DAC. However, for my taste, they lack a rich low end and can be a little too brash in the higher end frequencies (mostly when listening to lossy music files). I usually tend to use my Audio Technica ATH... Show More

Excellent sound quality and isolation
These in ear phones sound great. You really can hear everything in a clear and unadulterated way. Good recordings really shine, but I'll have to say, being a 50's something person, my old rock favorites sound better than ever as well. I have some B&W Society of Sound recordings that sound amazing through these earphones. I travel to Asia numerous times a year, and look forward to using these on the 14 hour flight. They are a little awkward puttin... Show More

AN INVESTMENT -
In my opinion sound and music are 2 very different things. Music propagates my lust for life inflames temperament ( jim Morrison ) music coming from low quality speakers can also be stimulation not sound - Sound is a energy that if heard in its true and purest form can be very powerful. Shure SE 353s are a revolution in sound engeneering and quality for audiophiles. Ridiculously pure highs and lows with clean bass specially with electronic music ... Show More

Great for traveling
I use these headphones constantly in airports, busses, planes and other noisy environments. With the white, earplug-style earpieces the isolation is wonderful. The headphones are clear and do not need to be played at a high volume to hear details in the audio. They are very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I am also very happy these have replaceable cords. The only downside about them is that the cords have a tendency to untuck t... Show More

aMAZING HEADPHONES
i used this product to listen to music. i like that the music is really clear and you can hear EVERYTHING that is being played. all the instruments are heard well separately and clearly. you never know what a song sounds like until you use these headphones and get to hear EVERY sound that is played. i don't like that the base is a little bit too much, at least for me. the fit is not as good the SE530s I used to have. I like them better than these to be honest. it is nice that the cables disconnect at the headphones itself. just in case the cable gets damaged you can always get a new one.

Great sounding in-ears
Love this model. Crystal clear - bottom end is well flesh out but you need to have a tight seal. I think those who think the bass is lacking just need a better fit tip. I personally like the Black Foam Sleeves. I also purchased an additional cable for these headphones so I can connect to the Pono Player in balanced mode. That is where these Shure's truly shine. Lastly, bad sounding MP3's are going to amplified as these SE535's bring out the details of all recordings. Stick with Lossless music files and you will be all set (or FLAC/ALAC files).

Exceptionally Amazing
I've owned Shure ear buds forever. My last one was the SE530, which I thought was pretty good. I've also bought Ultimate Ears 10 Pro earphones, which was great for low ranges but was missing the highs. I just put on the SE535 which arrived today. My music has never sounded better. I listen to a lot of jazz, classical, and rock. The SE535s has remarkable fidelity; I'm hearing details I did not catch before. At least for my ear, and I would consider myself an average audiophile, the SE535s are the best in-ear phones I've heard

Yes these are as good as they say
Possibly as good as an in ear headphone can get. The biggest problem is everything in the $100-$200 range now seems inadequate. These are very solid and well made but take some practice to find the perfect position. Once you do they are very comfortable. I just ordered custom ear plugs for these. My ear canals are at an odd angle and are narrow. Off the shelf plugs don't fit me perfectly, but for many they will. Try those first. The most noticeable audio quality is the depth of imagining. Very close to over the ear cans.

Worth Every DIME.
If you have the means I highly suggest picking up a pair. Music rendition is perfect...every tone every vibration is exactly perfect. The finest listening experience I have ever had! Started with a pair of 110's and then moved up to the Se215's. They were stolen a few months later and I decided to go all the way and get a pair of the SE535's. Absolutely NO regrets. I actually shutter to think about what I would be missing out on had I not purchased these.

Excellent sound quality
I upgraded from the SE 505 which had a stripped cord. The sound is great as expected - highs and lows. Bass guitar comes though very nicely. Medium earpiece worked for me but all others included. I like the new cord arrangement where you can replace it if necessary. Got the iPhone cord with the unit and it works well - with a skip, pause and volume controls - very handy. Excellent if you like listening to high quality music.

Shure SE 535 Headphones
These are the best in-ear headphones I have used. Proper placement in the ears is important for sound quality. They fit somewhat better than the SE 530. They are expensive. The Bose QC 15 is significantly less expensive, but is over the ears and cannot be carried in your pocket. Shure has very good customer service. I have sent previous models in for repair and there is never a problem.

Incredible quality
Simply, I can put this the best I've ever own. Great sound quality, best build quality. Only thing I'd like to mention is that it doesn't come with remote and mic cable. You will have to buy it and it costs around $50, and this cable is not as durable as the one comes with it. Original cable doesn't have remote and mic, but it is very durable.

Too much buck for the bang
They sound good but the bass is thin. I tried several of the sleeves but the result was about the same each time. I could upgrade to the custom made sleeves but would have to spend several hundred more. I don't think so. I'm not positive but I bet the 425's are about the same with regard to sound quality and less money.

Great product
Great quality product. One drawback is that you can hear all the MP3 quantization noises that you were not able to hear through normal headphones. But that's a common problem of all in-ear-type headphones. However, this problem can be resolved by connecting the accompanying volume control unit.

Extraordinary Earbuds
Love these Share earbuds. Bought one for me and one for my wife. Like the fact that you can replace cord since my old pair of earbuds were hardwired and the connection frayed. These have excellent sound. Use them every day.

Expensive but worth it.
I was very hesitant to THIS MUCH on a pair of headphones. But after I got the right size earbud that fit my ears, I was sold. The sound is just absolutely amazing, and there is also plenty of bass.
