Ive wanted a drone for some time. But I didnt want to spend much on something I didnt use often for filmmaking. Also I didnt want a cheap drone that doesnt perform well. So the Mini is perfect for me. Good quality and relatively inexpensive. It has also been simple to learn how to fly. Lots of fun.

Get DJI refresh kit for $39
The fly more combo is well worth the cost. The refresh kit is also a must - for $39 its cheap insurance for easy and less expensive repairs/replacement. Pros are not likely to buy this model which means your more likely to have a crash. You can buy the refresh kit later - but its a much bigger hassle as you have to make a detailed video to get it. High End in Small Package
This unit is so small you think it is a toy until you fly it. Great video and long fly time. The return to home feature is AWESOME. Instructions do suck so just go to the website and watch the videos and you will be a pro in no time. I purchased the full kit with 3 batteries and carrying case and it was worth every extra penny! I will own two of these very soon my current unit needs a friend to be flying with it.

Awesome Drone
First time drone user and this is awesome. It is super stable and has excellent features. The best part is, the app will not allow you to fly the drone in certain locations. It geo fences areas that are off limits, which keeps you from getting in trouble with the FAA. The camera is very stable and the video quality is excellent. The only downside is I wish I had purchased the fly more combo. The extra batteries would have been nice. And it doesnt appear they are available at the moment. So Im stuck with about 25 minutes of flight time every few hours.

Don't waste your money!
I've spent 5+ hours trying to get this thing to work... instructions that come with it are a 2x3 card with tiny pictures... once I finally figured out how to turn both on.... then I had to register with DJI and that would not work for two day... now the unit will not fly because I live within two miles of an airport. They claim you can get authorization to do this but how? Customer support sucks and their wed site is terrible. Oh and an iPhone with any type of protective cover will not fit in the control unit... did the video point out you need and iPhone or android to make it work?

A nice drone but photo quality is yet to be there
The drone is light. Its so light you will feel if you press it hard it will break but its made well. The battery feels heavy. So how does it fly. Indoor it flys really really well. The reaction of the controls are great. You just need to make very finite movement and you will see it reacting very well. Outdoor I did not get a chance to fly a lot but it does well outside too.
