Great drone upgrade
My previous drone was a Yuneec Q500 4K that I bought about five years ago from B&H. It did a good job, but crashed twice due to the props coming off, not operator error. Complete JUNK!
Complete junk! This drone is pathetic! Has never ending amounts of updates to download and install prior to fight so Id download at home on wifi net then hop on one of my Ducatis and go only to get to my destination and have 2 or 3 more updates to download and install prior to being able to fly. Blown away by the Mavic Air
Having only previously flown other drones that would fall under a toy category comparison, I am blown away by the amount technology that is in this DJI product. The build quality is super solid and I was also really impressed how smooth this drone can fly (even in windy conditions)! This is my second drone. The first drone was an Upair and I had all kinds of problems with that. The drome kept disconnecting from the controller and on the last flight I couldn't power it down and it ended up slicing my arm open. I shipped that sucker back quick. Man, what can I say? This is an awesome product. Design, ease of use and affordability. Design -- I can fit the controller, drone & spare batteries in my pockets. I knew going into purchasing this drone that its two biggest critiques were that it was too loud and that the WIFI connection instead of the LightBridge. It's amazing what they've crammed into such a small package. There are tons of reviews out there on why this is such an awesome drone so I'll just add that I agree with the reviews that speak highly of it. I've had it for a few weeks and flown a dozen or so times. Before you buy, make sure you're not in a DJI red geofence area. dji.com/flysafe has the map where you can check. Amazingly easy
This was my first drone and I bought it one week before my vacation to a remote Caribbean island. I flew it once before the trip to get a general understanding, loaded it up and crossed my fingers. Great small drone but with compromises
I've owned one now for a few months. It's not perfect by a long way. Video lag is terrible even at close range. It is heavily affected by interference from maybe wifi signals in built up areas. The camera is ok but again the dynamic range is poor with the highlights often blown out and the medium range too dark. You need to film in the D-Cinelike setting to get anything decent. rookie pilot
this mavic air is my first drone ever. it has a truck load of settings and it seems to rely on experienced pilots on youtube to instruct the public on many functions, although dji does have a few videos n some included literature. I know drones can go for 20k but this isn't that cheap, but it does feel well designed and it handles very steady in the air with wind. there seems to be a glitch in the dji assistant 2 written for Microsoft where it won't recognize n update the controller, but the app seems to be a way around that. I'm enjoying this so far. oh, and this store is great.

One battery was defective
I really enjoy the mavic air. Ive taken it to Colorado and shot some amazing aerial video. The only issue I had was that one of the 3 batteries I received was defective and wouldnt turn on or charge. I ended up dealing with DJI on it and they are sending me a new one to replace it. I did try to give BHP a chance to handout but they were impossible to deal with. And the other issue was that the propellers that were free with this purchase dont even go to the mavic air I think they go to the mavic pro? Either way I got a good deal on the price but Im not a happy customer at all.

I got the best value from B&H
The Mavic Air is amazing. The deal B&H put together with the Fly More Combo + Nanuk case, landing pad and other accessories was perfect. When searching for the best deals in all corners of the internet, I keep coming back to B&H. They typically offer the most value and better or identical pricing. My Dad ordered all his professional gear from them back when catalogs where the thing. I remember turning those pages when I was young and am happy B&H is still a thriving company today. Best toy I ever owned!!!
Coming from a micro quad, and then 2 mid range quads w/ vid and pix camera, this mavic air is awesome. For me, a medium learning curve, but Im up and running all modes after abt three weeks. It has its limits, but its just my speed. Ill never use it commercially, and thats okay. Im havin fun w/ the best hi-end toy I ever owned... Tnx, DJI........ You can add a camo skin from DecalGirl and make it any color you want, also design your own skin w/ their software. Reasonable price You can spend more, and you can spend less, but for my money, the Mavic Air is A #1......

Amazing Drone
I'm very pleased with my recent DJI Mavic Air purchase. It's amazingly easy to fly and the picture/video quality is outstanding. I'm particularly amazed by the video stability even in a strong breeze. My very first flight was on the edge of windy San Francisco Bay. The drone did admirably in keeping it's position and moving as I maneuvered it around. I was sure that the video would suffer. I was shocked to find that the video was incredibly stable and stills were sharp. The compact size makes it great to take along in my travels. I highly recommend the Mavic Air!

Great for personal use
The Mavic Air is a great small drone packed with all the features that you would expect from a DJI product. And like many other DJI products, I would recommend it if you are in the market for a small, capable drone. That said, it won't replace my Mavic Pro because the Air really does have a shorter range and is more easily disturbed by localized electromagnetic interference. I've also had issues with the responsiveness of the gimbal and multiple camera disconnects in panorama mode, both of which I believe will be corrected in a future firmware update.

Impressive little tool.
First time flyer. I find it easy to learn and use. Video image quality is quite good. Photo quality is good, but 12MP is a bit underwhelming especially for large group photos. I'm very happy with the focus free design as it's one less thing to think about. I don't see a need for adjustable focus nor shallow depth of field for the type of photography I'm doing. Side obstacle avoidance would make it better. I greatly appreciate the compact size for portability, but I do find it difficult to see in the air once it reaches a distance of 1000 feet.

An amazing piece of kit
My first drone, be prepared for a bit of a learning curve. The drone is amazing and easy to fly - and it's so tiny! The parts included in the combo offer a great value, you'll need those three batteries and the charging hub comes in handy. I bought the drone mostly for still photography and it is proving to handle that very well considering the price. My only gripe is with the spherical panos, they are stitched together pretty well but are useless since they lack the necessary metadata to be recognized as 360s by google photos and fb.

Just buy the Mavic Pro
Dont get me wrong this drone is incredible. The image quality is perfect, very sharp and clean. Flying it is relatively easy to use; its fast and agile. But I am always finding myself using my Mavic Pro instead. The Air does not connect nearly as well to your phone as does the Pro, and if you ever need to take it out in harsher situations it can become quite frustrating. This drone is great for first time drone buyers, however heed my advice and just buckle down and spend the extra money on the Mavic Pro.

Great for beginners
This drone is very nice. I am old (73) and totally new to this hobby. It took me awhile to figure out how to get the controller and Mavic Air paired, but after that it was a great experience. The drone practically flies itself. So far I have only used beginner mode. It stays at whatever altitude I choose without constantly holding the control stick. The fly more kit is great because of the extra batteries and other accessories. I would HIGHLY recommend this to someone just getting started in this hobby.

Love it!
I am a regular drone user that normally flies a Phantom 4 Pro, and recently was eyeballing the mini because of its size, but Im really glad I opted for spending a bit more because Im hoping to keep some longevity with my quality with the 4K picture option, but it was also a very nice compromise to physical size. Also, the bundle comes with more than enough batteries unless you literally plan to fly all day, but to be satisfied with a good variety of shots and flying this combo was great!
