Didnt last two years
Used this monitor primarily for photo editing and secondarily for text entry and editing. Clean, economical and did the job; except, it just died after less than two years. I think thats a pretty poor performance history.

Lives up to the reviews I have read
I love how crisp and clean this screen is. Compared to the other three on my desk there is no contest. If youre looking for one of the best entry level 4k monitors on the market, look no further, just press the buy button. You wont be disappointed.

Good retina display for MBP, but backlight uniformity issues
I purchased this display to use with my 15" MacBook Pro. Text and graphics look sharp in default mode, certainly on par with Apple's laptop retina displays. I've been very happy with the performance overall, but after about two years the display started to develop fairly noticeable brightness uniformity issues (fairly long bands of relatively dark areas running vertically across the middle of the display). Because I switch back and forth bet... Show More

Great monitor for my new Macbook Pro
I wanted a monitor that could easily switch between my Dell that I must use for some programs at work and my primary computer Macbook Pro (I didn't want to reboot in Bootcamp). With multi-device keyboard and trackball from Logitech I can switch easily. The monitor is a good size with good color and detail - my only regret is I should have gone with the 27" model instead of the 24" but it will serve my purpose.

Professional, essential, productive.
Yes, Apple makes shinny expensive toys. Buy one. This one is an excellent product for CAD and office productivity. Low cost compared to the Ferraris out there, but it delivers what is was meant to, and it's not a distracting show off. I have three of these in my office. All work perfectly for a long time. No issues with any of the settings. I just bought the fourth one here, brand new, cheapest price I've found online, free delivery all the way to California, woohoo!

Great for the touchbar Macbook Pro
Being a 24 inch 4K monitor, this monitor works really well with Mac OSX, you can do a full 4K resolution or you can do 1080p with double the pixel density for the Mac Retina look. For me 24in is a great size. I bought a $20 USBC to Displayport cable on Amazon, which gives me 4K 60hz. Then I also have to have a usb dongle so that I can use the P2415Q's usb hub. For me, it works perfectly as a work monitor. I have my mouse and wireless keyboard plu... Show More

serious connection issues
Positive: Extremely high resolution, sharpness, & image clarity Negative: Resolution is too high for the size - all icons, start menu, etc are too small to see. The most serious issue is the connection issue. This was the deal-breaker for the customer. This monitor cannot tell how it is connected, and when directed to use the type of cable attached, it 'forgets' this every time the system is shut down & restarted. (Had to connect a 2nd monitor temporarily each start-up time, just to get the monitor to display anything.)

Beautiful, affordable 4k monitor with map connector
I bought this for my new Mac Pro and couldn't be happier. It was easy to assemble and was literally plug and play. Start-up is smooth and fast, colors are clear and bright, and text crisp and easy to use.

It's okay as a general purpose monitor
The good: Compact size, 4K!!, Good value The bad: Faint horizontal lines, possible moire effect between front coating and LCD grid. Not as visible if view from 18+ inch away. Bottom line: I am using it for general office work, very adequate. However, I wouldn't use it for photography due of visual artifacts.

Great bang for the buck
After looking at a number of options (and reading many reviews) for an external monitor that I could use for high-res photo editing with my 2017 13" MacBook Pro (MBP), I went with this one. Price was a factor, but I really wanted pixel density that would be close to the retina display on my MBP. I am glad to report that when I use the included display port cable and a 3rd party adaptor to plug into my USB-C port, all works great. The resolution i... Show More

Great Budget 4k Monitor
Pros: 1. Color Accurate 2. Inexpensive 3. Sharp, bright image Cons: 1. Ok viewing angle and screen quality 2. Default resolution 4K @ 30Hz with Late 2016 13" MacBook Pro. Had to use SwitchResX to force 60Hz.

Boot or Cable (?) Issues
Hooking this up to my EVGA Geforce GTX 1080, I found no case where I could run my two monitors in dual DP mode. (the other monitor is an HP2475w IPS monitor). My desktop will not let Windows get to the 'Staring Windows' screen. Talking to EVGA tech support (excellent by the way) I was told that this can be a caused by non-compliant cables or monitor quality issue- poor quality DP cables have enough leakage to set pin 20 in a floating state, makin... Most Awesome Monitor
I already had a Dell 24 inch monitor (at least 10 years old, maybe older) still alive and kicking, which is HD but has only Component inputs (HDMI was not implemented till a couple years later). I am using it now for my editing workspace via DVI-D. The new Dell 24 inch 4K is now my display screen for editing via HDMI as well as DisplayPort, for both HD and 4K. It was easily recognized by my 3 year old NVidia card which can output HD and 4K to bot... Show More

Wake Up!
As far as B&H, everything went very smoothly as always. My order arrived promptly. As far as the monitor though, it does not come out of sleep, nor does it show the laptops (docked) screen if you turn the monitor off for a while and come back to work on your computer. You have to turn off the laptop, undock, redock, and restart. I have since read many things concerning this issue with this monitor. My advice, buy something else.

Affordable and great for photographers!
A very straightforward connection via HDM1 cables to my graphics card with a simple setup. Interesting the monitor included a calibration chart, not always seen with 4K monitors. One bit of warningdo not install the software drivers. This will or may result in tiny typesets and icons on Adobe applications. I had to uninstall the driver to correct the issue. All display settings can be controlled within Windows 10.

We own two 27 and a 24. Very nice
Easy to set up, flexible connectivity, standard mounting holes to fit external arm or desk mount. Oh, and it looks great. I use these monitors for audio waveform editing and workstation plugins.

Absolutely delighted
This display is a second monitor for me. I spend a lot of time building picture books, originally with Shuitterfly and now with Blurb. The second display means I can do layout on the new 4K display will still making choices of pictures to use on the original. I haven't yet decided what to do about the size of text fields. Dragging a window from the HD display to the UHD display means that I have to lean forward to read text (which just became muc... Show More

Vertical monitor for Software Dev
monitor is great quality when run in standard horizontal view. BUT monitor advertises it being able to run in portrait mode. Though, display doesn't offer retina scaled resolutions between 4k and 1080p when in portrait mode on mac. Which was the only reason i settled on this display.

Good general purpose 24 monitor
This is a good monitor for everyday use. However. I'd bought another Dell 24 a couple of years ago and the image quality is clearly better on the older model (which has been discontinued). It's a good monitor, but perhaps not as good as I'd hoped.

Major improvement over a 720p
To me, an excellent 24 4K monitor. Liked it so much I replaced a second 720p monitor that I was using in a dual mount -- which made the differences striking -- with another Dell 24 4K.

image quality could be better
I connected the monitor (to a MacBook Pro 15, MacOS El Capitan) using the included Thunderbolt (MiniDisplay Port) to the Mac and the Display Port to the monitor, but the Mac did not recognize it.
