Excellent 4K Monitor for the price
My first 4K monitor. Brilliant colors. Print detail is amazing in 4K. Excellent B&H service and shipping as usual. Liked it so much I have a second one on the way.

Its a great monitor for CAD (not just gaming)
I bought two of these for AutoCAD drafting. The monitors are great. I have no idea whether I would even be able to distinguish between this monitor and another with close specs. Things like 1ms latency and four quadrillion to one contrast ratios and stuff are numbers that I have never really tested personally. But, the picture is super sharp, the monitor is easy to use, the packaging and minimal assembly are excellent, and its generally a great monitor. The four monitors on my desk are all ASUS.

Great monitor, but...
Ive had two of these monitors. The second one, I just bought, and I have no reason to think its anything other than perfect. The first one, I bought in April 2015. It worked great, and I loved it. I recently bought a new computer (12/2018) which I bought for CAD use. The monitor had some I/O issue that I only discovered once I had my new computer. Resolution is wonderful but make sure you connect with the correct cable (HDMI as example) to take advantage of it.

I give this monitor 5 stars but the only thing I would say is putting the buttons on the back is really stupid however I can live with that design flaw

Best monitor for the money!
This is my first Asus monitor purchase ever. I've had many viewsonic's and they've never let me down and seemed to have the best quality but this 28 inch had me intrigued plus it is a UHD monitor with display port functionality also. My current 27 inch viewsonic had served me well but was approaching 7 years and just didn't seem as brilliant to me any more. Asus 28 as advertised - incredible stand!
B&H was great. The Asus monitor is exactly as advertised. The 4K quality is incredible and the stand is better than I imagined. The stand is incredible for adjusting it to exactly as I want. I studied monitors more than I wanted to in order to get what I needed and this fit the bill! If you are looking for a quality monitor for a good price - this 28 Asus will not disappoint.

I regret that I waited so long to purchase this monitor
It came already calibrated. I especially like it when using Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. Where I previously had 5 thumbnail images I now have 11! It makes post production so much enjoyable and quicker.

Generally very good monitor
This monitor works very well with my MacPro 6,1 though it does not appear to work at 60Hz as I thought it would. The colors are excellent and the display is bright and clear. I use it with Final Cut Pro and Adobe CS6 mainly. My only gripe about it is the on-screen menu, which I found very difficult to use. Surely ASUS can do better. I did have to have my first unit replaced as it would not consistently connect to the MacPro either through DisplayPort or HDMI. My second unit works fine. My experience with customer service was satisfactory.

Asus 4K impressions
I already own the PB278Q IPS version and it has been a fantastic monitor for the past 2 years. So I was fairly confident in purchasing this 4K version based on that. Overall it is a good TN panel but the color depth and black imaging seems washed out compared to IPS. It is priced very well and has a great adjustable and solid stand.

Excited to Game with this
I ordered 3 of these as a graduation present to myself, and they are great. While I haven't had the time to really game with them yet, this summer I will really be getting the full experience. With the exception of the routers (in my opinion they generate too much heat), ASUS always has made impressive products and is always worth considering. It's not the cheapest 4k panel in its class on the market but you get what you pay for, ASUS makes a great product.

Love it!
It works perfectly and it's easy to setup. If you're not looking to buy a 2000 dollar 4K monitor then this is a good choice if you're on a budget.

Do NOT use with a MacBook Pro Retina 2013
This monitor is extremely slow to connect in the 1st place. It also continually disconnects and both my MB Pro screen and this monitor flash a bunch of times, so no work can be done. Then the monitor shows not connected, so I have to unplug it and wait for everything to flash bunches of times. (It happened even as I was writing this review) I've tried my best to get this to work, but I'm fed up.

As someone that tends to game a lot on their PC, running both old and new titles alike, as well as games from all sorts of different genres, I needed a monitor that was not only accurate in colors, but above all else, fast. Good first impressions
I have this paired with a 27 iMac as a second monitor. I'm pleased with the screen, the color, the resolution at 4k, and the adjustable stand. My minor issues are how the screen behaves when it wakes from power saver mode...the delay is noticeable and open programs jump back to the iMac before returning to the Asus where I had left them. Entry Level Quality for 4K
I am a small production editor. I bought two of these to get into native 4K viewing. The most serious drawback is that the PB287Q only has a 30Hz refresh rate at 4K. This is absurd. In addition the picture quality is as poor as 2005 LCD's. Literally - because that it what these two replaced and I was shocked. But at least my old LG monitors could be calibrated. A Really Great Monitor
It's large, but fits nicely on a desk, and the matte finish on the screen is a nice upgrade from the super gloss mirror I was using before. The brightness and colors are great, and when set to sRGB it is suitable to doing graphics work, especially for the web... however I wouldn't recommend it for doing design for print, I don't believe it's accurate enough for that. Great Monitor
I use this monitor for my gaming PC. The picture quality is great and I can't believe how much nicer the games look with 4k. The only thing I had an issue with was that at full 4k, it would only run at 30hz instead of 60hz. But this is a driver issue with my GPU not the monitor so I can't hold it against the monitor.

Only works with my playstation
I bought this thinking that I could dual purpose the monitor between my laptop and playstation 4 console. Forget the laptop. The Data Port connection and HDMI connections did not appear compatible.

Great monitor at a great price
I'm using this connected to my new MacBook Pro 13 (also from B&H). The display is absolutely stunning. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this if you're looking for a well priced 4k display.
