AirPods were worth the wait, and they have exceeded my expectations. The pairing / setup process was effortless...you take them out of the case and they are paired. No more messing with the Bluetooth settings. Battery life has been good; I have listened to music for 2-3 hours at a time and the battery doesn't seem to drop much. The AirPods are like little jewels. I'm amazed at how much the case is a part of the user experience. The AirPods are just great! They connect to my iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, computers, and Apple TV (anything bluetooth), but very easily with the iPad/iPhone with W1 chipsets. The headphones sound great but dont offer much noise isolation. Theres also no way to track them if they are in the charging case and battery life can be dismal when FaceTiming or calling for long periods of time. Other than that, configurablity is pretty good. Works very well for listening to music/podcasts. Audio quality is good, convenience is great, battery life is good, and they are easy to recharge using the case they come with which acts as a charging battery. The AirPods were worth the wait. After repeated delays (by Apple, not B&H), the AirPods finally arrived and have been the best bluetooth headphones I've used. I've used them now for a couple of weeks and have had no issues with them staying in when running. They fit as well as their corded counterpart. Cannot connect to multiple devices
Pros: Really like the AirPods. They charge quickly and are provide great sound quality (in ear). Cons: This is by far the biggest disappointment: you cannot connect multiple devices simultaneously. Can't control volume with non-Apple devices
I bought these hoping to use them with my wonderful new FiiO M7 music player (also purchased from B&H). But, no go! The volume setting on the AirPods is WAY too low to use them with the M7 (which works perfectly with other Bluetooth headphones, such as my Sony MDR-ZX780DC), even at the M7's maximum output level. Good quality but...
I could not keep the Air Pod in my left ear. Even when just sitting still and listening to music it would become loose within less than two minutes and fall out very shortly after. Pretty disappointed. The build quality and Apple integration is all exactly as you would expect from an Apple product. And the sound quality was actually much better than I had anticipated. Sadly I cant use them. Maybe the next generation will have a more accommodating design for my ears. If they stay in for you, they are great and I recommend them. For the rest of us, looked elsewhere for now.

One of my best Apple experiences to date
I would absolutely recommend these to anyone. Ordered them about 2 months before B&H was able to fulfill the order (not their fault), and it was worth the wait. The sound quality is decent, although I wouldn't consider these something I would do critical listening with. But the functionality is incredible and they work flawlessly. Want to listen to a podcast? Throw one ear in and they work great. Want to listen to music? Add the other ear in and they automatically adjust for you. Only downside is the inability to change the volume without bringing up Siri via a double tap.

Terrific Product
I was hesitant about purchasing such a small product at this price but I must say I am not disappointed. I have used these everyday since I got them. You wont know how much you hated those wires in other headphones until you completely ditch them. These are wonderful. I find that they fit fairly well and do not fall out even while jogging. The only issue that I had is that I got so used to them in my ears that I went to scratch my ear and I knocked one out so you need to stay aware that they are still in your ear. I cant recommend them more highly. Get them.

As good as Apple's wired earpods
The sound and fit of these wireless AirPods are just as good (perhaps better) than the standard wired version. Of course the bass isn't as rich as my high-quality, over-the-ear headphones, but for their size these are excellent. So far battery life is excellent, almost 8 hours of listening time per charge. I've purchased wireless "sports" earbuds from several other manufacturers but didn't like the way they sat in my ear canals, and the sound was tinny. Apple's AirPods are expensive, but for me the sound quality and fit are worth the cost.

A Very Pleasant B&H Surprise
After missing the initial burst of available AirPods from Apple, I ordered from Apple on 1/1/17 and was given a late February delivery date. I also ordered from B&H when they started accepting orders on 1/11/17. SURPRISE my B&H order shipped on 1/12/17, was delivered on 1/17/17 and I've been enjoying them ever since. The AirPods are really GOOD, comfortable to wear, and the sound and battery life are as advertised. More important was the GREAT B&H's sales support, customer service and ability to deliver the AirPods way before others.

Glad I replaced my wired Bose headphones with these
I have moved to the iPhone 7, and so was looking to replace my older Bose wired headphones. I received these in early January. Being someone with many Apple products, I had an issue early in pairing the Airpods to the Mac when my iPhone was nearby. But that issue seems resolved now that there has been an Apple operating system update for the Mac. I am very pleased with the sound quality and overall performance of the Airpods. The one negative is I don't think I could run with them without having at least one fall out of my ear.
