Shorted out after a few months of very, very light use
Sound quality was fine for my purposes, and the ear gels did a good job of holding the phones in pace. That said, after a few months of very, very light use, a short developed in the base of the zipper, cutting off sound to one ear.

You are getting what you paid for
For this price you're not buying concert quality ear buds....but you are buying decent sounding ear buds with a convenient zipper to keep them from tangling. For us middle of the road audio people, these are just what we want. Have had them for 3 months and use them often....they are holding up well.

Excellent combination of value and quality
I use earbuds daily for hands free calling, music, radio, roku private listening...they are constantly being bunched up and thrown in a pocket, travel bag or pack. I won't spend much on earbuds as they're going to take a lot of abuse and generally don't last long. I've tried fabric wrapped and flat wire styles among others. They all tangled. Good deal.like these
Did not expect a lot for the low price but they sound better than I thought they would. They also seem better built than I thought for the low price.Fit feels comfortable. I bought three pairs of these and have only tried one so far but I assume all will go well.

I would buy this product again.
I feel some discomfort with these in my ear, especially after 20 minutes of use. However, earphones that sit on the ear cannot comfortably be used with glasses on; these can be. The treble sound is delicate and satisfying but the bass lacks presence even though I listen to chamber music and don't require massive bass.

More the ease of use than pure performance here !
Look these aren't custom molded Shure earphones, but for the money and with the added design with the zipper they are very cool. I burned mine in for three days and wow they did open up. Are they super critical listening......no.

Comfortable and Cool
Well built with a good sturdy feel to the earbuds and the zipper seems pretty strong. Not the most accurate sounding headphones (though I have a variety of higher end monitors for recording so..), but they fit well and I forget they're in and get on with enjoying the music. Great isolation for commuting and the zipper gets comments.

Adequate
Ear buds that don't have any apparatus to hold them onto your ears don't seem to work in general. These are no different. The anti-coil design works reasonably well but not a reason to buy them.

Review For HIZ73 Zipper HeadPhones
Great sound for this pair of earphone and zipper utility works nicely on these headphones. Only downside is that if you use these earphone for any physical activities you will notice a lot of *knocking around with the zipper causing lots of sound to generate inside the earbuds* but can be zipped all the way to the neck or below chin to prevent the knocking of the wires.

Handy
Liked the non-tangle feature using the zipper. Very useful for carrying in a pocket without hassle of untangling.

Acceptable sound, zipper design helps eliminate tangle
Bought these because they were a deal of the week and I'm always losing, washing, stomping on my ear buds so it helps to have some extras.The zipper idea is cool and so far it works well.The sound is decent, about what you'd expect for a $ set of buds.However, the thing I hate about these is the L and R buds do not seem to be clearly marked, if marked at all.Would I rush out to replace these if something should happen to them? No.

Look Cool
they look cool and Xuma has a good reputation of quality sound. therefore the 5 stars. I bought these as stocking stuffers during one of B&H's Zone-Deals. Hopefully the zipper part will last more than a few times.

Tangle free!
I use this on my laptop, so I don't disturb others in the room. These earphones sound as good as higher end headphones. Many people don't realize that earbuds are around the ear before inserting the tip into the ear. With a choice of different ear tips you should not have any trouble keeping them in your ear. Bought 4 for xmas presents.

Interesting Idea but not quality

Not as Good as It Seems
Used it for a week, then after several zipping up and down, product became defective, losing audio either on 1 or both sides, and the problem is right when the zipper ends.
