As You Get Older
As you get older, this is something you can fall in love with. It seems to me that everyone is using smaller fonts (LOL). It turns out that all I needed was a nice lighted Magnifying glass. These are great! Very satisfied with my purchase.

Great magnifying glasses!
Most magnifying glasses Ive seen have terrible distortion rendering them rather difficult to use. I suspected lenses made by Vivitar might be good. They are indeed. When the subject is in focus, distortion is practically non-existent. The LED lights add greatly to their function. I recommend them highly!

Its a magnifier with lights
Actually, the package contains two magnifiers (with lights). Why the manufacturer thinks that youll put one in your kit is beyond me...these things are not small. The dimensions of the smaller one (2.5 diameter) is 6 3/4 long by 2 3/4. The larger one is 3.25 in diameter and the handle is 7 1/4 long. Both lights have 2-position-slide-switches: low-off-high. Theyre perfectly OK, and inexpensive at that, but I cant say theyre anything special.
