Nice lens
I wanted to get a zoom lens to use for video on my a6500. This lens has decent coverage and got better reviews than the 18-105. I also liked the fact that it was a bit wider for gimbal use.

Not much better than the 18 - 55 kit lens
I really wanted a good all-in-one travel lens to match my A6500 but was disappointed with this lens. It performed only slightly better than my kit zoom lens. Definitely not worth the cost.

I will recomend this lenses to a friend.
Excellent definition at all apertures. It should be little faster, is F4, but for the price is OK. With excellent ISO of the Sony E 6300 at high numbers, this problem is not very relevant.

E Mount 16-70
I've been using the lens about three weeks. Over all it is a very fine lens. Solid build, good results at all focal points. Not as sharp as a prime, of course, but a very good travel lens.

Super lens for the Sony a 6300
The autofocus is very quick throughout the zoom range. My photos with this lens are tack sharp and the colors are fantastic. At 24 mm or more the built-in flash works fine with no shadow.

Sharp glass = Crystal clear images
Purchased this lens as I was looking for a lens that gave me the options of wide-angle shots was well as moderate telephoto photography. So far, not disappointed one bit in my purchase.

This lens takes my NEX-7 to a new level!
Wow, I was ready to sell my NEX-7 because I wasn't happy with any of the Sony lenses (except the 50 1.8). This one changes my mind. Outstanding optics and smooth focus. Love it!

Good Range and IQ
I would be nice if it went to 120mm or had a variable aperture with f/4 being the max. aperture, but with the same or better IQ. All is needed is a comparable 70-300mm lens.

great lens for the price
I use this lens with the sony fs7 for cinema and commercial work the lens works well very sharp with great color and contrast is a bit slow at t4 but we'll worth the money

Great all around lens!
Feels sturdy, and can be used for wide shots an zoom shots as well. Zeiss makes wonderful lenses, this is the second one I have. I look forward to buying more from them.

Great for travel
This lens is perfect for our family trip to DC. It yields clear and beautiful pics, both of scenery and people. It will most likely be my main lens for the new camera.

Very Nice Lens
A very compact lens that is great for everyday walk around shooting. It is sharp,and focus very fast. A well built good quality. Nice size and not to heavy.

Great lens in compact form factor
I am very pleased with this lens. The image quality is quite good, it has a highly responsive autofocus and it is quite compact...in keeping with my a6300.

Match made in Heaven
Great Fit for Sony A-6000Light and less bulky than other E-mount glass with Zeiss coating makes images pop. Kind of expensive but quality glass usually is.

Great all-purpose lens for the a6500
This is a great all-purpose lens for the a6500 - images will of course never equal those from a7r2 but the small kit is very convenient and easy to carry.

Good Glass
This is a perfect lens for me, the size is small yet has some weight for balance. The range from 24mm to 105 is my sweet spot in focal length. Good glass.

Pricey But The Best Perfection.
When using this lens 16-70 Zeiss lens with the Sony A6000 you have a combination that is a third the cost of a L camera with really good quality images.

Sony vario-tessar 16-70mm lens
