Such a Great Lens!
I purchased this lens hoping that it would exceed my expectation and it performs beyond it. I love the focal point too. It delivers very crisp pictures.

Excellent product.
Great lens. Excellent image quality. Good size match for my camera.. I got great shots on my A6300, of people and landscape.

Gorgeous little lens
I shoot pro video on some really expensive cinema glass and this little lens is beautiful for the money. Very versatile, decent Bokeh, and very light weight. Only gripe is the Auto Focus is a little slo sometimes. OSS is a must have as well.

Great Prime Lens
This is a fantastic starter lens for E-mount cameras. I bought it with the body-only a6000 option because I figured it was worth the extra few hundred to get what I was told was a vastly superior lens to the kit option. After shooting with it for a couple of weeks, I can say that it definitely lives up to the hype. First, what this lens is great at: close-up's in both high and low-light situations. There are other primes that perform great in day... Show More

Awesome Lens
So I have been using the stock lens for 4-5 months now and was getting pretty good results. I was having problems in lower light conditions when taking pictures of my kids/pets indoors. I switched over to this lens and couldn't be happier. Much more responsive in tracking in lower light conditions and excellent sharpness. I debated getting the Sigma Lens but decided on this one due to stability.

Excellent lens
This is a great starter prime lens if your a beginner or intermediate level photographer. The F 1.8 allows you to take a lot of pictures in low lighting conditions.

Better than the other options, but not the best possible
This is pretty much the 30-35mm lens you want for your A6000/6300/NEX, but I wish it were better. The new Sigma 30mm f/1.4 is sharper, but this lens comes out on top for its usability. -Small and light weight. DON'T UNDERVALUE THIS! It makes one handed shots and fitting into small bags much easier than the Sigma 30mm f/1.4. The Sigma 30mm f/2.8 is also very compact and an awesome alternative if you don't need low light shots and don't want to spe... Show More

This lens is spectacular for spanning the image clearly and sharply. It's become my primary lens.

Did the job
Well I no longer own this lens but I will leave my honest review. If you have any NEX series cams, or even the A series, get this lens. Super light weight and tact sharp. Note this is not full frame. I shot with this wide open all year round, no complaints. I am no photography expert but this lens did the job very well. The bokeh was awesome.

Sharper than kit lens
Great starter Prime lens for beginner/intermediate level photographers. The f/1.8 really allowed me to take pictures without flash indoors with dim lighting. Way sharper image than the Kit zoom lens of a6000.

Compact and light
I purchased this lens to use with my new Sony a6300 camera but I also own a Sony a7rII and recently had it on a hiking trip with the camera. It was a great and light lens that produced excellent images using the a7rII camera.

Nice piece of glass
It's not a Zeiss but for the money it's sharp and makes nice prints. It's a Standard Lens.

Pricey.
The lens its good. OOF areas could be better, but overall the lens is great. I wish it was a little bit sharper wide open, but It works just fine. The bad aspect of this lens is the price. Canon offers much better lenses for cheaper prices, but I have a sony. Sony doesn't have good primes. And the decent ones, are really expensive.

nice glass
Very clear and quick autofocus except in low light where it will hunt for focus. Nice package size, not too bulky. Good walk around lens as long as you don't need a wider angle for shots where you can't get far from the subject.

Sweetspot
Great lenses for low light and up close, nice and fast for the special moments, I bought it mostly for Christmas, a6000 and a5000 that I have used it on, brilliant details, very happy with this purchase!

must have lens
This is quickly becoming my favorite lens. Purchased for my Sony a6000. This lens stayed on my camera all during the Holidays. Love the bokeh and sharp focus. I have a feeling that this 35mm f/1.8 will become my go to lens.

Love this product, the beautiful bokeh
I use the lens indoors mostly right now, however I am looking forward to using it outdoors. It is incredibly fantastic in low light. I have mine paired with the Sony a7s2 and together create beautiful crisp photos with an exquisite bokeh effect. I like how small and compact it is. It is also very erganomic.

Be cautious
Good, fairly sharp, well built, OK focus speed, but and this but is big. color fringing is an issue with this lens. I read reviews and overlooked that part of the reviews I guess. I took pictures of just plain white flowers up against it's own green foliage in bright sun and when later looked at the pictures I had to go outside and look at the flowers again to see if they were actually the way I saw them on my monitor. Wow! it was bad to say the ... Show More

The perfect lens
This lens is a huge step up from the a6000 kit lens. It takes great portraits and will be my day to day lens for street photography. It's a great purchase.

Good and Reliable.
I use it as my standard lens. I also prefer to use it because it has OSS, my a6000 camera does not, and I have hand tremors. It's also a fast lens.

Great Lens
After reading a lot of reviews I purchased this lens for my Sony a6000 and I'm extremely pleased. its light weight, compact and the AF is fast and accurate, but the bottom line of any lens are the images. I'm no pro, but I find the photos are very sharp and I'm impressed with the contrast and colors. This has turned out to be my go to lens because I think the quality of the images are much better than the kit 16-50mm. I was looking for a fast prime lens to complament my kit lens and the 55-210mm and for me this is perfect.

Actually great for a lot of situations
This is now the lens I keep on the camera most of the time. On the a6000 APS-C sensor it is fairly tight when shooting my toddlers in-doors, but I can still fit them head and shoulders in the frame in any room in the house with a good bokeh. The 35mm is not as much zoom, so the bokeh is not as significant as on the 50mm 1.8 of on a full-frame. The 1.8 makes for good low-light shots. The steady-shot in-lens is still not amazing like on a camcorder, but takes some of the jitter out of video.

Great Sony Prime 35mm f/1.8 OSS
It is fast and the optical image stabilizer helps, i like it in low light. Great build, it is solid metal and plastic build. Used it for pictures in a wedding.
