Sony Cybershot W830 20MP 8x Zoom Compact Digital Camera
Great camera
Brought this's camera for my brothers who are wanting to do photography as a hobby, was surprised at the quality, as it was nearly as good as some of the pics I take with my DSLR!! Would really recommend looks very easy to use and is a perfect size too.

Not user friendly
Main fault is the on/off button. It is too flush to the body of the camera making it difficult to operate. Very basic. Had a Fuji prior to this camera . Wish I had replaced it with another. Cannon also in my opinion are a better option to this Sony.

Outstanding picture quality
Great camera nice and compact The build quality is good as you'd expect from Sony. I'd recommend purchasing a case for this camera to keep it protected. I love this camera for all my photographic needs Go and buy one you won't be disappointed

It’s Sony
This was purchased as a replacement camera for my elderly mother in law and she was taking pictures straight out of the box . The only downside is the manual is a download instead of a hard copy but it’s still a quality product and would buy again.

Small and compact
This camera is good for point and shoot pictures, takes great pictures up close but zoom not very good ,night pictures are ok ,the size of the camera and buttons are small but does not effect the use (even though I have big hands )it is easy to use .

Good camera for good price
I am a sony loyalist and normally find Sony camera easy for use. I bought this for my parents and i think it is a great spec with the Carl Zeuss lens... for this price is a bargain. the photos clicked came out great.. Great camera... go for it. ..

My daughter loves this a lot
I bought this camera for my 13 year old daughter as a teen birthday gift,she likes it so much. It fits in her hands and she is taking lots of pictures with it and they are amazing. It’s a perfect gift for your beloved ones who likes photography.

Great camera
My mum bought me this camera for my travels last summer. It's the perfect size to slip into a pocket or small handbag. Great quality pictures, was very pleased with how they turned out. Easy to upload pictures onto a laptop. Good battery life too.

Entry level camera
The Sony camera is very entry level and good value for money considering its price tag. The picture quality is sufficient and marginally better than a phone camera. If you're looking for high quality results more money should be invested however.

great pocket camera
we wanted a compact camera to take to Disney as to not use our iPhone battery life , this camera is a nice neat size we could place either in our pockets or in a rucksack pocket so we could go on the rides , great picture quality and easy to use

I bought this as a gift for my 11yr old daughters first camera it is compact and well built and packed with features and has professional picture quaility i chose this as it has more features than a bridge dlsr and the battery life is excellent

I don't recommend
I have been in India with this camera, I regret I did that. Blurry pictures, cannot cancel the picture preview after you have taken the picture, blurry pictures even if you move just a bit the camera, not good image stabilizer. Not happy at all

Unable to assess the product as, on return to Cyprus, when I opened the box, I found that the adapter plug & cable were missing. Have had to order from a company that delivers to Cyprus so, unfortunately, no xmas or NY photos have been taken !

Camera
I bought the camera as a gift for my girlfriend as she's is going to Bali in the summer.The camera is small and light which I like as it is easy to carry and the picture qaulity is excellent.I would definitely recommend this product to others.

My daughter loved this for Christmas
Great TINY camera, it's amazing how the size has reduced over the years. We have a Cybershot from a number of years ago, comparing the sizes over Christmas was quite surprising! Great camera and definitely recommend. So pleased with this.

easy to use camera
Brought this with birthday money and used on a recent trip to York. Its easy to use and the panorama feature is great for capturing scenery. Haven't explored all the features yet but so far it's great easy to use and value for money camera.

Good looking camera lightweight easy to use
For the price this a fantastic point and shoot no fuss camera with great results it's easy to use straight out of the box just buy a decent sized memory card and your away it was for my daughter so the dark pink colour went down rather well

This camera is ideal for a beginner
I bought this for my daughter who hasn't really used a camera before. She wanted one that had a good zoom and would take great pictures. This is everything she wanted from focus to zoom, there will be some great pictures coming out I this .

Camera is amazing
For a such a cheap camera, i was surprised at how good the picture quality is, the small lcd screen doesn't do the pictures justice. Looks all pixelated as you're looking around with the camera, but the quality of the pictures is flawless

Camera not for me
Didn't like this much - not very robust in feel, rather lightweight. Setting up was a fiddly job and it took ages to upload photos. Tried it for a few hours and then decided it wasn't for me and returned it. Swapped it for another Nikon

Great if you just want the basics
This camera is good for the basic camera users - it is easy to use and stylish. The pictures come out well but at times the photos do seem to blur easily where the camera hasnt focussed quickly enough. Overall relatively happy with it.

Manual required
Does not come with a basic instruction manual and you have to go on-line to download one. Prefer having a product that is ready to go rather that going through a long-winded process to know how to use the basic features on the camera.

Perfect camera
It's a fab little gadet that doesn't weigh a tonne like most professional ones, it was also fairly affordable (even with the insurance) and its absolutely perfect for the project I brought it for. Plus purple is my favourite colour
