Nice Picture Quality
Have only used it for 2-weeks and I'm glad I purchased the RX100 V. First of all, I'm impressed with its quality, compact design and simplicity. It takes sharp pictures and movies even when the object is zoomed-in. The tilt-screen and pop-up viewfinder are just great. I have not had the chance to try out all the features that this camera offers, but I'm confident it will not disappoint.

Great camera with lots of bells and whistles!
A great point and shoot camera that can do many other things. Camera options are sometimes hard to find. Very small, suggest you get the attachment grip. Currently, Adobe's camera raw does not support the raw files of the RX100 V!

My first sony camera and I am loving it
There's a reason for this camera to be expensive, it is very compact. I can put it in my pocket. I love the images, the videos, and the slow motion function. Quality is very close to DSLR, my friends can't tell the difference. Good investment if you have the money!

Excellent compact camera, images rival many DSLRs
The photos that I have taken with this camera are outstanding for a compact camera of it's size. The outstanding features of this this camera are the extremely quick and accurate autofocus, excellent low light ability, outstanding sharpness, unprecedented frame rate, and excellent 4K video. I utilize this camera as a pocketable second camera to my A7R2. This similarities between the two cameras make for a very intuitive transition. I love the rx100mk5 and highly recommend it as a very competent, full featured, ultra compact.

Outstanding camera

The best compact P&S money can buy
I have the RX100M1 and M3 and in the hand they all feel pretty much the same. The main difference with M5 is the speed and the video quality. I have compared images from the RX100 to micro 4/3 cameras and it is incredible how well it performs. I would say they are on par. Amazing considering the size.

Pleasantly Surprised
The camera is very quick especially in continuous shooting mode. It is almost like a rapid fire/machine gun style of FPS. This was a very nice feature.

Excellent but needs added parts
Pros and cons of the Sony RX100V Pro: Fast start up, excellent quality LCD viewfinder, write speed fast for photos, excellent focusing on subjects. Shooting just jpeg photos battery life is okay, shooting burst or video battery life dies quickly so buy extras for a day out. Best pocket size camera.
Fast autofocus. Video and image quality is good. RAW files are not supported by Adobe yet. After 30 minutes gets warm on video/image processing. But still good for short 5-10 min. video clips. The fast focus is much faster and more accurate than rx100 iii and G7X I had before.

for what it does well I would buy this item again
Love sony products because what they do well, they do very well. The RX 100 MK V is as good as they come in a small camera. The zoom is not as powerful as I would like and it is not as good as a full frame for bokeh and low light but if it had these features it would not be as small as it is.

Perfect (with ability to add more items to FN menu!)
Bought this as a 'shirt pocket' always carry camera to replace a rx100 ii when I don't want to lug around Fuji X-T2 and lots of lenses. Haven't been able to test quality of raw as no post processing software reads them yet. JPGs appear solid but possibly a tendency to blow out highlights in high contrast back lit shots (very likely that can be corrected in raw). Amazing camera...
I've had my camera for a few weeks now, and I am very impressed by what this tiny camera can do. It's small size and weight make it the perfect hand held vlog camera. Continuous focus appears to be flawless under most lighting conditions. In camera audio is good enough for an on-the-go vlog. Audio on this camera though is kind of an afterthought. Feature Rich Point and Shoot Camera
This is my first Sony RX100 model camera. I've been hesitant on purchasing any of the previous models due to the lack of low light focus capabilities. Sony has really come close to making the perfect compact camera. Image quality is excellent and certainly rivals even APS-C quality. Dynamic range as always is too good. You can extract a LOT of information from the shadows.
