Best video camera under $5000
I have the A7S and wanted to have 4K internally. Love this camera! beautiful images. S-log. You can use cheap USB power now! Wish the A7S could as well.

Does what is is supposed to do
Was looking for a replacement for my Canon DSLR camera, and I will say that Sony Alpha a7S II was the exact fit. The low light capability is superb.

Low light beast, but...
we can't get an e mount adapter that can utilize the focus / steady shot functions of the camera? I mean, c'mon, the thing shoots 4k internally...

I am a filmmaker and I really like this camera . You can shoot in night without noisy ( high iso ). Just Sony brand lenses is more expensive.

Pros: Incredible low light performance, small and light, great image quality. Cons: Rolling shutter is not so good but can be corrected.

not RAW!?
don't have this camera, but the only problem I can see is that it doesn't shot video in RAW (not 4k not 1080p), that's a huge issue.

Compact, High Quality, Affordable

Haven't had it long enough.
So far so good. Haven't had it very long though... BUY LOTS OF BATTERIES. No where near as efficient as canon.
