Great camera for video
I had this camera for first time at the wedding. I was going to use it just for few test shots, but after seeing quality in complete darkness end up filming rest of reception.

Upgraded from 6000, to 6300 and now the A6500 - great camera
I have upgraded from 6000 to 6300 and now 6500. I love this camera body. The only thing I wish camera mfg would do is add gps to their bodies. It is fast, compact and light.

I love the a6500! Touch screen through menus would have been fantastic, as well as 2 memory cards, but I'm still very satisfied with all the upgrades. IBIS works great!

6500 sonycamera
I have many lens for this camera since I have the 6000 model.The grip is great and the speed of this camera is awesome.For video it is worth the update from the 6000

Love this body.
'This is my first sony body. I love the size of it. The frame rate and image quality holds up with my d500 the only thing I'm not thrilled about is the battery life.

A no-brainer
Bought the a6500 premium package. Got the ZEISS lens. A great camera without the weight of SLR. Beautiful sharp images. Get 2 extra batteries and body case.

Great except rear screen
Doesn't get 5 stars because screen is horrible! Can't see anything in daylight. Other then that, great camera. I wish the touch focus was more like that on the GH4.

Sony a6500- GREAT CAMERA
This was my first SLR camera. A great intro(but high end) camera for filmmakers with any level of experience. Easy to use, yet still produces great video! Love it!

The Best Mirrorless Camera on The Market
This is much more than just a camera. The stabilization is a big improvement, the touch screen focus point makes life easier, the 4K and Slow Motion is phenomenal.

Wow
Does way more than I need. I use strictly old manual lenses and it handles them brilliantly. I also take astrophotos through my homemade 6" Newt. Love the camera.

Camera bag is a piece of garbage. Camera and lens dont fit. Great camera for older photographer who doesnt want to carry heavy Nikons anymore. Great for travel.

Nice camera
Pretty good camera. I like that it's a little smaller and lighter weight than a DSLR while still having a viewfinder along with full manual and automatic modes.

A perfect kit for filmmakers
I also own the RX100 iv, a7ii, and a7iii. I love all of these cameras, but the a6500 and 18-105 kit is perfect for film making, run and gun videos, and photos.

Just buy it
A very complete camera. Better in every way than my previous A6000. The in body stabilization gives new life to my m mount primes which I use on my Leica M7.

This things shutter speed is insane, slightly fast pic taking than a slow mo video. Image quality is outstanding. Wish the LCD screen was brighter tho

Lots of features in a small package
