Sony A6000 Mirrorless Camera With 16-50Mm Lens Silver
Great first camera
I shoot mainly with a full frame Nikon with a large heavy lens which gives fantastic results but it is not practical to lug it around everywhere due to the size and weight. I decided to buy a small mirrorless camera and after a lot of research I decided on the A6000. It is the right size to chuck in a small bag and gives fantastic results with the kit lens. For those not technically minded it has a brilliant auto mode which is literally 'point and shoot' For pros there is full manual.

Worth it
This camera is the best camera I've ever purchased BUT i needed the selfie screen, hence returned and exchanged for the A5000 one.

nice little travel camera
Bought this mainly for travel camera and the picture quality it takes looks stunning. It is a nice entry level mirrorless for enthusiast amateur photographers out there. It has built in wifi and NFC which is really handy if you want to share your pictures on social media etc. All in all is a great buy and 2 years from when it has come out and there is still tons of great reviews about this camera.

Sony A6000. . .Compact, Powerful, Fast = Amazing!
The Sony A6000 24.3MP APS-C sized sensor gives beautifully detailed images. The super fast 4D focusing, quickly locks on and tracks your subject. With 11 fps shooting even the fastest action can be shot with confidence. The 16-50mm power zoom kit lens is a great little lens, compact and light, with good optical quality for a compact take anywhere solution.

top camera in small body
after much deliberation and reading other reviews I have opted for the Sony a6000. What a camera it is, stunning does not do it justice. Don't be fooled by its size or price. Probably the best camera I have ever owned. Photography has become a joy once again thanks to this bit of kit.

Picture showed that it had a Carl Zeiss lense which it did not. Returned product and purchased a Panasonic lx100 from local camera shop. Did not use the camera so cannot rate performance. Not happy that Argos picture was misleading.

Takes incredibly good snapshots
For the price, you can't go wrong with the quality of this mirrorless camera. I was initially thinking about getting this and the alpha 5000 as the price is almost double, but trust me on this, getting this one is probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. This little piece of equipment will leave you breathless.

Bought this as a grab and go camera, being lighter than my D-LSR which is very heavy, it is a super camera takes excellent photos and is very easy to use, plus I can put my D-LSR lenses on it with the adapter.

Fantastic Camera
Even though the a6300 is released, this is still a fantastic camera for half the price. It has less focus points, but it is now the second fastest focusing camera after the a6300 now. It does not shoot 4k video, but for photos it is fantastic.

Nice camera
Very easy to use, anyone could use this camera, Takes excellent photos, I did have a little problem with quite a few blurred photos, but turning off long exposure noise reduction in the menu fixed the problem, The tilt screen is a good feature, also Wi-Fi so you can send the pictures to your phone.

Great camera with loads of features. Takes excellent pics. Manual is basic so you'll need to invest in one of the many guides on using the A6000 to the full.

Love it
I was looking for a very good but still easy affordable mirrorless camera to take with me for holidays and I have to say that I am absolutely in love with this camera. It is very easy to use. It makes brilliant pictures and videos. I just came back from camping and thanks to this camera I have amazing pictures of the lake district in rain and sunshine. The tiltable screen makes it easy to take pictures from either higher up or from near the ground. I would highly recommend this camera.

You don't need a DSLR
I've had DSLRs for the past seven years and was totally integrated in to the Nikon ecosystem. I decided to move to mirrorless as I was leaving my large, heavy DSLR at home. I chose the A6000 and cannot believe the features this thing has built in compared to what I thought was the top of the range cameras out there. Mirrorless is innovative and there is no longer a need to rely and duopoly of Nikon and Canon. Buy the A6000 and you'll wonder why you didn't sooner.

Very pleased
This was a replacement for my Sony a5000. This is a better quality product and feels a bit heavier. Good size and easy to carry around. Picture quality is great after playing around with the settings for a while. Very fast shutter speed of 10 frames per second. Great for low light photography as well even without trypod. If you want to spend just a little bit more for a camera then I would recommend this.
