Urgent birthday gift
I was in invited to a surprise birthday party at short notice. I was aware that the birthday boy was always complaining about the poor quality of his headphones. I checked on-line and found the ideal set of headphones which were in stock and available. I reserved them and on my way back home from work collected them from the store. The quality of service on my arrival was excellent. The staff were very helpful and I was on my way with the goods in less than 10 minutes. The gift which was excellent value was very much appreciated.

Good Headphones, one problem tho
Cant pick a fault with the performance with the headphones, except that they have said it has a inline volume control, it hasnt got one. My son also brought one of these a year before me with the same problem but said they were a good set, on his recomendation I brought these thinking they had got thier act together and either removed the fact that it had a inline volume control from the listing or actually put one in as description, but no still the same so they got returned. So 1 year on and they still cant get it right

Good Value for Monitoring
I bought this for a friend who had just got a new Yamaha Keyboard. I have not tried these for audio use, but can confirm they are great for monitoring the keyboard and sound as good if not better than through the built in speakers. Light and comfortable in use so can be used for sometime without fatigue. I know from past experience that the leather style pads will eventually break up, but that won't be for several years and at this price cheap enough to just replace with a new pair when it happens.

High quality for a low price
I bought these for a friend to use with a small 'portastudio' and his acoustic guitar. Chose them online, going purely by the spec, other reviews and the fact that they are from a pretty reliable brand. Very impressed, high standard of sound and comfort. Excellent value. I gave them 4 stars for the individual categories as there are of course far more expensive models that would be superior in those categories, but 5 stars definitely as an 'overall product' rating. Confidently can recommend.

bit flimsy, and doesnt sit around the head!
I bought these after going in to buy another pair when I come across these pair and I thought they looked the part however getting them home and trying them on they don't seem to sit around the head they instead they look really clumsy. The overall design looks ok but this was a let down. The sound quality is OK. I bought a more expensive pair that seem better quality, sit better and have a better feel. For a budget pair and if you can see past the fit their a good contender in their range.

Not bad for the price
Quite deep well controlled bass but lacking in detail in the midrange and highs lack a bit of sparkle in general listening. Confirmed when I compared to my old similarly priced set of earbuds by RHA. On listening across the range on a digital piano a lot of a notes tonal nuances were lost. Well built and a nice design, quite comfortable though a bit of padding on top of headband would have been good. For the price seems to give a relaxed listen for undemanding use and offers fair value.

Uncomfortable
Main problem is that I find them very uncomfortable pressing into my glasses arms behind my ears, also earrings. I have had to put my glasses on jaunty but even now they are still pressing my ears too much. Also being headphones instead of earphones which I am used to I thought they would drown the office sound out more but they do not. I only wanted some headphones which had a longer wire for in the office and these were the cheapest, I'll stick to my apple earphones with a short wire.

Good value
Well I bought a few pairs of these because of the good reviews I'd read. I needed the headsets for an art installation; I didn't have a huge budget but I didn't want the sound of my work compromised. I was very satisfied with the quality. The work was shown in an echo-y building with a lot of other noise around, but these headphones were able to stand up against everything else and the sound to my artwork was accurately heard by those wearing them. Quite a surprise for the low cost.

Decent headphones for a decent price!
Had to buy some new headphones as my old ones had bust - these headphones were pretty good, looked good and were certainly value for money. I know that all modern headphones have a weakness where the cable comes out of the main jack, they are now always sealed units so cannot be fixed. However, what I liked about these was that the cable was nice & thick, offering a good layer of protection. Not to say the same thing might happen, but a thicker wire is certainly a good sign.

Good Phones!
These are good phones for the money, I'm now on my 2nd pair, they are well built and very durable. Soundwise they are excellent for the price, but you may find the heaband a liitle too grippy with the earpads putting pressure on your precious lugholes, easily fixed by applying a little heat to the headband ang gently pulling the earpads apart a little bit, or you can leave them alone and they will eventually break in with time, I give these 5 stars and can recommend them.

Comfortable headphones
I struggled to find some headphones for my 90 year old Mum who needed some comfortable to wear headphones for listening to audiobooks on her portable CD player. I did not want to pay more for the phones than the actual CD player but wanted something that looked comfortable and would be of reasonable quality. So many of the phones looked too young for a nine year old let alone a ninety year old! My Mum is delighted with the phones which she finds very comfortable.

Great Buy !!!
Bought these headphones for my husband who is very fussy when it comes to a decent sound when he is watching his films, his other headphones which was Sony which was quite expensive at the time lasted him for about 9 years but unfortunately they dont do them anymore so obviously i was a bit sceptical on buying these. Well i am so glad i read all the reviews on the Argos website my husband is over the moon with these so i definately recommend these to everyone.

Excellent Value Headphones
The last pair of these headphones I bought was almost ten years ago. They lasted that long. I replaced them as the material covering the earpieces starting splitting. Old age! The new set are the same design but have a thicker quality material on earpieces and also the plastic does not creak like the old ones. I estimate these will last 15 years! The sound quality is excellent. Crisp with good bass handling. Great value product from Sony. Nice long cable 2m.

Why pay more ?.
After reading reviews for these Sony headphones & seeing that they had been reduced by two £s, i bought with confidence. They proved to be very good indeed. They look good, sound good & are light & comfortable to wear. I am going to buy an extension lead for them, as the 2 metre lead is a tad short, i want to lie back on my sofa & listen, a longer lead will allow me to do this. A lead can be bought for under a fiver, so not a problem. Recommended purchase.

Great purchase
We now own 3 pairs of these as they are so good. The sound quality is excellent they look good, (small for headphones) and don't ache your ears like in-ear headphones. I first purchased these for my son so didn't want to fork out on expensive ones like my husbands headphones and we were shocked at the quality, the expensive headphones have recently broke so we purchased another pair of these as we just couldn't tell the difference. Excellent purchase

- Great value for money. - High fidelity sound with adequate bass (normal, neither excessive nor weak). - Long and durable cables, including an extra adaptor. The only downside is comfort: unless you are a woman or a child (or have a small head), fitting is on the tight side; there is rather too much pressure on the ears, which is fine for a brief application but becomes a little uncomfortable after a couple of hours. Great product nonetheless.

cute headphones
i bought these as i liked the look of them they arnt shocking looking.when i first saw these headphones i asumed they were big headphones that would cover the whole ears but not.still what do you exspect for the price,.they are comfortable they are adaptable the sound quality is pretty good.its not great for thoughs who want insolated sound but all in all great purchase for the price considering its a sony and looks up to date very happy with them.

Value for money
I bought these for my partner, so he would stop taking his expensive work Dj headphones out (as he keeps breaking the wire) I got myself skull candys in the sale. Well after trying these on, I had buyers remorse for the skull candys. These are soft, the don't stick out and you can adjust the length. The sound quality is great too. Not that my other half will use these for his work but is happy to have them for on the go. Excellent value for money

Great for the kids
Bought so they can watch their iPads on a flight. Headphones fit nicely on the boys heads age 4 and 6. Snugger fit on me. The sound is decent for the price, I would say quite a warm rich sound, perfect for watching movies etc. Not bad for music either but lacking the really crisp trebles and the thumping base you might want in a more expensive set of headphones. Max volume is loud enough but not so much that I worry about their ears.

a bit painful
I just needed a very basic pair of over ear headphones to wear at work for noise cancellation. The noise on these was fine.. nothing to write home about. But the chord was extraordinarily long, so much so that I wouldn't be able to walk out and about with them on. The top bit that rests on your head is also so hard, there's no cushioning at all. It started to make my head ache after having on for only a few minutes. I returned them.

Good value
Nothing fancy about these headphones, they look relatively basic but brandish the SONY logo so at least look credible. Sound is what you would expect from such a low price band but I don't notice any real problems but nothing too remarkable either. They could become a little uncomfortable after prolonged use but I think most headphones have this problem. They are overall very good value for money and I definitely recommend them.

The headphones that i have purchased is the best headphones i have ever bought or used according to price and quality. These headphones have great comfort and has got amazing sound quality and it really lets me hear the lyrics properly and i can also hear the minor sounds with these great headphones. The design is plain which is what i like, i don't like a lot of colours. Therefore, these headphones are the perfect product for me!

Excellent Headphones
Brilliant headphones! -Great Bass -Look good -Reversible earcups so you can keep one ear open -Soft earpads -Fully adjustable, easy to make it bigger -Excellent sound quality The only problem is the cord. It is 2 metres long! It's actually HUGE. So you have to tie it up if you want to connect it to a phone, ipod/mp3 then shove it in your pocket which is quite a hassle. But other than that, these are excellent headphones!!

Great Sound for the Price
This is the third or forth time I have bought these headphones. They normally last me about 2 years each time before the cable at the plug starts to split inside and you have to wiggle it to get sound out of both left and right. They have great sound as the frequency range is 16Hz-22kHz, others In this price range just sound so 'tinney'. They are very comfortable and not heavy, you barely notice them being on your head!
