This mic was a great choice
We were looking for a replacement mic for the podium in our church. We wanted a mic that was sensitive enough to pick up a variety of speaking styles. Some ministers constantly turn away from the mike, some are soft spoken and some have powerful voices. This mic is what we needed. It is clear and has excellent sound quality weather that are speaking directly in to it or from an angle.

Awesome mic with great sound quality. I modified dip switches to allow mic to toggle on/off for user control. Very good experience with first use.

Best go to podium Mic
I use this microphone for judges tables and podiums with fantastic results. The 18 neck gives a lot of room for adjustment while providing close micing when it's needed. The sound quality and reliability of this microphone surpass many other options.

Solid Desktop Podium/presenter mic
The micro flex is my go to podium mic for corporate shows and for judges tables at battle of the bands/has talent type shows. Great frequency response and even has a push to mute button on the desktop module. The 18 mic gives excellent flexibility as far as height and can work in many situations.

Great Sounding Audio Mic
I was asked to buy a vocal mic for our Church service. During a usual Sunday we have a few different people who speaker with a variety of vocal tones. The Shure MX418DC with its 18 gooseneck is sensitive and forgiving. It picks up the soft speakers and handles our Pastors big booming voice with very little adjustment to the actual sound system.
