Very Satisfying earphones
I just bought this pair of earphones two weeks ago and it is already one of my favorite of all the ones I tested. For his price ( about 50 us $), the CX 5.00I really packs a punch. They sound great!
I tried several different in-ear plugs before finding these. I'm an ex-recording engineer and I think these sound great. Crisp clean highs, smooth non-metallic midrange and tight, non-overwhelming, non-boomy bass. I have the highs and lows boosted slightly on my player. I'm hoping that the L-shaped plug means the cable will last. That's been a weak point of every portable earphone I've owned, including Sennheiser headsets - they eventually short out and the wires are so small that they're almost impossible to repair.

Sturdy Build, Great Sound
I returned a newer model Sennheiser earbuds because the jack connection was too fragile and gave out after 2 weeks. This model, on the other hand, is rock solid and the sound is adequate for most types of music. It's great for the spoken word if you listen to podcasts, and personally I have tested it with electronic music most extensively and it has performed pretty will for headphones at this price point.

PERFECT pair... Smooth BASE
I Love the earphones! I'm a base kind of guy, and these ones deliver the smoothest and deepest base I've ever experienced on such small headphones. they're not the best with the midrange and treble thgouh... but with some EQ you can compensate. I love the right angle jack that prevents it from getting damaged when you put the mobile or iPod in your pocket.

A little dark sounding
The buds fit comfortably, I like the 90 degree plug. The buttons and microphone function properly. There is plenty of bass in these earbuds, but there's not much treble. Some folks would say they sound warm.

Good quality audio but less compatible
Best audio quality, the only problem is the white color (need be more careful) but the black edition it's no compatible with iOS and the white version it's not compatible with android or Windows laptops.

Pretty Good but a Tad Flimsy
Sound and microphone are above average. But the quality isn't there. Mine fell apart and had to be glued together 2 weeks after I bought them. At $ bucks, they would be great. $, not really.

CX 5. Sennheiser Earphone
