I did not want to spend 2k+ on a thunderbolt Audio interface yet I wanted something solid that allowed me to play all my instruments, provide solid audio quality and most important of all zero to unnoticeable latency. 5 months in and this thing has not let me down. Is awesome and the audio quality is superb. Super happy with this investment. Thanks PreSonus.

I'm really excited about not only the conversion quality of this unit, but also the room for growth and flexibility that it provides. Ample inputs and ease of use help to make it the best option I found for home studio recording. First, These units are awesome. They do however have considerations when using with Windows and when stacking them for expansion. First you need a motherboard with ONBOARD thunderbolt connectors. Add in cards wont work well and cost a lot of money if you can even get them. Second, spend the few extra dollars to get an OWC TB 4 port hub. Then get an apple or Startech TB2 to TB3 converter. Run the Thunderbolt cable from the unit to the converter. Run the Converter to the OWC and the OWC to the PC. It will work Flawlessly. If you are stacking, do the same with the other units and daisy chain the word clock connectors. Latency is virtually nothing. These units are very quiet, crystal clear, and highly versatile and remotely integrate-able into your DAW. ... More
