Worse picture than my old 1080p LG
if a movie is set at night or evening, or even just indoors, there is a horrific snowy effect in the background, like you used to get on old TVs when i was a child ( long before hd existed, im talking 70s/80s.). It also turns itself off randomly, despite sleeper timers etc being switched off. The sound goes out of sync with the pictures(a lot) which i have managed to fix by turning it off and on again ot switching hdmi ports and back again. all these things add up to a disastrous purchase

Phillips 50" tv...
Sound better than most. Connectivity good, 3x hdmi's (2 rear &1 on side), 2x usb (1 can be setup to use tv tuner to record to). Does support auto switching if your device uses this function (E.g. starting ps4 etc). Can use tv remote as pass through controller, handy function as can use it as a basic controller with ps4. Picture good once settings tuned to your preferences. YOU TUBE HDR 8k videos really do look fantastic. Very easy to setup too. Has Freeview and Freesat connectivity.

Philip's tv
Looked absolutely fabulous and thought we had found our perfect replacement for our other Philip's tv . But when all installed and set up we noticed the voice sync kept on slipping, after consulting the Philip's engineer and there advice we adjusted the delay on the sky top box ,but had no effect, so packed it back up and returned it .now we own a samsung tv with no problems. Must say argos was absolutely brilliant and excellent service.

Great tv, a few small complaints
Great tv, the picture is amazing (when you fiddle with the settings as pre sets for everything look so noticeably wrong and washed out I thought something was broken) the sound is incredible, such a noticeable difference from my previous LED tv, it was super easy to mount, and features a lot of ports for connectivity (also some of the old ones if you have older tech to plug in too) the remote is a bit meh to.

It is a very good TV. A bit disappointed because you can't download other apps from the store, but it was just an expectation of mine anyway. And I still couldn't cast directly from my Android phone using Miracast, but I am still not sure if it is my phone's fault or TV's fault once I could cast other apps such as YouTube and Netflix from my phone without any problems.

Really nice TV with lots of features
As with most Smart TV's these days, it's really a case of plug n' play. Turned it on, followed the instructions and, Hey Presto!, everything worked. We have ours directly into a satellite box, so I can't comment on the digital TV or the guide, but the smart features are good, and anything in 4K is simply outstanding!

Super straight forward tv
Excellent value for money. Bought to replace my 13yr old flat screen tv that’s still going. Isn’t disappointing so far. Was super easy to set up and so quick to load between apps and tv. Has everything and more that I need for a tv. Even use the internet through my phones hotspot. Loving it.

Fantastic TV
Fantastic TV. Upgraded from a 720p to this and you can see a massive difference. Movie mode also makes all the colours pop. One gripe is that the TV detects a PS4 but doesn't automatically swap to gaming mode. Apart from that great TV at a very competitive price.

Since buying. I’ve had to reset tv 3 times
This is a good tv for watching. Picture and sound is good. Bad points are that I’ve had to phone Philips to get tv put right. It does not record on to usb memory stick. My advice is. Don’t throw away box till you’ve had tv at least 6 months.

Picture is incredible!!
Was blown away with the picture quality. It’s truly class. The whole setup was simple and the tv runs smooth and quick. Family enjoys movies in such detail and clarity. For the price, I don’t think you get any better.

Looks great and works perfectly
Worth the price as it’s a great size and top in tech, I not sure if it’s because the internet connection in my room is bad or not but does keep switching from Netflix when I open it straight to Satellite TV.

Great product
Amazing telly we had a 65 inch and that had sadly broken but we decided we were going to go a bit smaller and this was the best on on the market for the money and I've got to say very happy slim and stylish

Brilliant tv! Absolutely recommend it! Only issue ive had was the weird screen flickering on "game" picture mode, solved it after changing to "monitor".. btw im using this tv as a pc monitor :))

I bought my Philips tv over a week ago it was good price for a smart tv & I love it. It turns on really quick compared to my old TV & so easy to set up. Also the picture quality is brilliant.

My T.V is fantastic
Well worth the money. Picture is brilliant as is the sound. Easy to set up. I have no faults what so ever. The chap in Argos offered to carry the T.V out to the car but there was no need.

Great tv
I enjoy it and the quality is amazing. I would give less stars to the remote that comes with it. It's a bit too simple and makes it hard to navigate trough options. The rest is very good.

Good quality for price
Good TV better picture quality than than than top brand UHD TV I had before. The hdmi connections in a difficult position to reach if mounting TV on a wall.

dont buy a Philips TV
this TV is total rubbish smart TV will not connect to Philips server so that means you cannot use the smart TV apps going to have to take it back
