Bridging the gap
I'm used to a Canon DSLR . This is a tad different I am slowly getting to grips with it, the zoom is very good although the pictures are a bit grainy on max zoom in low light (as they are on most long zoomed cameras). The operating booklet is basic but it gives you the idea of what it can do, at the end of the day its digital so lust play with it and delete what you don't like.

Great Camera
Love my new camera. So easy to use on auto settings. Also easy to set it up manually. Taking pictures of landscapes, wildlife and amazing shots/videos of the moon! My new favorite toy :)

Perfect for wildlife photography
Having decided not to have to carry various lens for a DSLR camera and also the cost of buying several different lenses!!!! I decided to go with the FZ82 which so far has proved to be an excellent camera great for wildlife photography due to the long zoom lens. It also has the added advantage of recording in 4k video and RAW format. Your getting a lot of technology for your money best choice for my price bracket.

For a higher class camera, I was disappointed
taken back for exchange as photos were not very well focussed even after trying the on camera tools for sharpening etc.

Brilliant bridge camera
Only had it a couple of weeks but amazing pictures and the zoom really helps with wildlife. Also being able to connect camera with the built in wifi so you can transfer images to your smart phone and also use your phone as a remote control is excellent

Excellent picture quality
Bought for my husbands birthday, his old camera also a lumix was a tad dated! He loves this fz82, the features are amazing and he's really enjoying playing about and trying things out. The detail that this picks up is incredible, even birds in flight have no blur. My husband is not what you'd call a 'photographer' per se, he doesn't use photoshop or any other software to adjust his photo's, they're as is! Totally recommend this camera, it's brilliant!

It looks really smart.
I must say it looks very neat and it is definitely lighter than the the Sony at 50x zoom. Plus it can do 60shots A second compared to 10 on the Sony. I must admit I did like the Sony till it broke down and originally wanted the same model as I had. But unfortunately Argos hadn’t got any in stock and none had been ordered. Which probably means there’s a new model coming out. I needed a camera so I went for the Panasonic. I can’t wait to use it. Watch this space!

Best Bridge Camera
Upgrade from FZ72. Super capable extra reach zoom.Good body size and wieght.More than enough programs to suit all types of photographers.Viewfinder is bright and easy to adjust.One downside is, manual switch between viewfinder and screen.

Fantastic Bridge Camera.
It's all about the 60x zoom with this camera. Tons of great features. Clear touch screen display and takes some really nice pictures. 4k video is crisp and vibrant. All in all a great bridge camera for those who don't want the complications of a more advanced camera and additional lenses. Build quality is nice and feels good to hold, not to heavy.

Brilliant camera
I have an older version of the FZ82 which is still great The FZ82 with its new features is absolutely fantastic; I have had a “play” with it and I am knocked out: it is even better than I thought it would be; I can’t wait to get amongst the Greek islands with it later on in the year.

Good camera for amateur or proffesional
The camera is really great & it takes some sorting out how it works , but if keep persevering it can be fun, the only thing that lets it down for me is the battery, it did'nt last as long as thought it would , but overall it's a really lovely camera to use & the pictures are very clear.

The camera is great 60x zoom is great too
I love to make my own movies and this allows me to do just that. The 60x zoom is beneficial when it comes to recording wild life and nature. The micro is excellent to when photographing the more unusual creepy crawly things in life too.

Great All-rounder
I bought the FZ82 after a lot of comparing. For an entry-level camera it is packed with features. It is Well worth downloading the advanced manual firsthand. It has a huge array of features and is a great learning stepping stone in learning photography.. I recommend this product.

Upgrade
Bought this as an upgrade to the Panasonic camera that I had broken. This is a great upgrade, with 4k photo shooting so you can always get that perfect shot..good long zoom lens that gets you closer to the object. Lots of features to play with.

Not as good as reviews stated, far from it.
Picture quality is only good at short focus. The focus is not crisp at any length after that, even in perfect light. It performs smooth, looks great, but picture quality is very poor in several settings. Quite disappointed really. Should of took it back sooner rather than trying to get the results that weren’t going to materialise.

Good camera bad sensor.
Good camera with great zoom and features like 4k and time lapse. Ultimately the camera is let down by inconsistent image quality. To much noise can register even reasonable light and low ISO. I also have the Lumix fz200 and the image quality is consistently better.

Excellent all-rounder
Excellent lens, great for wide landscapes as well as wildlife. Huge range of features and controls. Touch screen very useful for focusing and quick adjustments in manual mode. Light weight and easy to handle. You do lose some fine detail in images if you view at full size - as you will with any small-sensor camera - but for versatility and practicality it's hard to beat. Perfect for holidays and long trail walks.
