Happy with my decision
Wanted a camera to replace the heavy camera & lens I've been lugging around when traveling. Obsessed & researched until I picked the LUMIX DMC-FZ1000. Light weight, user friendly manual, good pics. Playing and getting acquainted before taking to Myanmar next week. haven't found anything I dislike.

Nice travel camera
This item, which is about to be superseded by a new model, is a very good travel camera. It has a 1 sensor, large for P&S type cameras. For more serious photographers it offers a number of advanced features, including RAW file recording.There are tons of features that I haven't learned yet.

Wow! It's everything I wanted
We travel extensively and needed a camera that is compact yet able to take excellent photos of wildlife and marvelous vistas. This one is a winner! No need to carry three lense, excellent in low light, and great photos and video. BH was very easy to order from and it came in three days.

More than impressed
The Panasonic FZ1000 completely filled my expectations fro an all in one camera. There are many times I do not want to take my SLR on a trip with me and the FZ1000 makes this easy with one camera, no extra lenses.The still quality is very, very, good and the video is exceptional.

Just what I wanted
I wanted a camera for good pictures and video ideas under 1000 bucks. I already had a beachtek audio mixer and am ready to take on a variety of filming situations now that I own this camera. I have been involved in video productions and this is my first camera. I love it so far.

Blazing fast
I own the Panasonic FZ200 and G5. This camera easily replaces them both. The auto focus is blazing fast and accurate. Video is clear and the ability to capture 8gb stills from video is awesome. Yes, it's a bit large but I think I've found my perfect travel (and everyday) camera.

Does not disappoint.
I decided to try the relatively fast DMC-FZ1000 after reading positive pre-release reviews. The camera delivers. The focus is fast and accurate, the 4K video produces beautiful video and the lens provides sharp photos from 25 to 400mm. It's simply a great camera for the price.

UPDATE
I used to be that kid with a Brownie, and on ward to Rolleiflex, Leica, Pentax, etc., and even the Leica digital. This id a new animal to me so I am letting it unfold as I use it. So far nice lay out, optics are outstanding, small and light. It doesn't feel fragile though.

Love the Lumix cameras!
I own several Panasonic Lumix cameras. I did not want to make the move to a DSLR and this bridge camera is perfect for me. The only thing I don't like so far is that the lens cap is not attached. I plan on spending a lot of time photographing nature, especially flowers.

Best Buy for the Money I have ever Made
Can not say enought great things about the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000- zoom range is amazing; sharp thruout range too- color reproduction great- scary sharp lens - almost too sharp for people (where did all those wrinkles come from...)- 4k video for that price - a steal!

Lot's of Options - Great images
Very easy to operate, comfortable to hold even with one hand. Controls are within easy reach during video taping or picture taking. Lot's of camera for the money. Great shots, handheld of the Moon using the Digital zoom at 2600 mm.Surprisingly good, detailed images.

The best walk around camera out there!
Pro: Light weight, loaded with features, very sharp pictures, a 400mm zoom lens that's terrific for nature shots and has a whopping 5 function buttons all close at hand all in one neat package. Cons: It only goes to f8, but don't let this prevent you from buying it

Great camera and the bundle seals the deal
So far this camera has been great. Bought this on a recommendation of a friend who knows her stuff. I'm still learning all of the functions and how to use them. B&H's bundle is the way to go. Everything you need to get you using your new camera the day it arrives.

HD portrait video/audio & zoom photos
I needed a camera to take high quality video of salvation experiences for mysalvationexperience. in varying light and record high quality audio, and this met both needs. I also wanted a camera to take bird photos. The camera meets my needs and wants in one camera.

All I had hoped for
I love nature scenes, especially close up scenes. This camera excels in close work! It is also great in low light situations. I have used it up to ISO 3200 with very fine results! I love the one inch sensor in this camera. It is everything that I had hoped for!!

Linguagens do menus da cmera
Cmera muito boa, sem dvidas, s que, antes de comprar, verifiquei as informaes sobre as linguagens (idiomas) dos menus. Fui informado que haviam muitos idiomas, inclusive o PORTUGUS. Aps receber, verifiquei que s existem dois idiomas: Ingls e espanhol. Decepo!

Feeding the light
The Panasonic DMC-FZ100 is a great match for photography. The camera fits great in your hand. I focal length is prefect 25mm-400mm. Leica's partnership with Panasonic makes this a great camera. The price point is a match and the three year warranty is a plus.

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000
Photographer of Blues & Jazz musicians & dance. Health problems dictate light gear...can no longer heft my Canon gear; MFT (rented) was too heavy at a day-long outing. Rolling bag/day pack not good. FZ1000 looked promising. And is an acceptable compromise.

Very Happy with this camera
I have an older version in this series with which I have been very happy over the years, so far this newer version has been all I expected. I liked the way the LCD display rotated a little better on the older model, but this one is a little more flexible.

Great functionality
I was looking for a camera with a 1 sensor, full zoom range and high quality lens, that enabled photos in both Raw and JPEG. The FZ1000 fits the bill. In addition, it has extensive capability to customize its functions. I'm very pleased with this camera.

Almost Perfect!
Although I like the size, some of the features, and glass on this camera, I do not like how difficult it is to work the Shutter Speed and Aperture size plus adjust the exposure. Too much time to get it right and that effects getting the perfect shot.

Still impressed
After a year I still Love this camera I slod my D90 and all leneses after buying it. I is better as I get to know it more I don't miss carring arroung those 5 lenes andhave done sone pro workm with using my metz Metz 64 AF 1 flash it focus very fast

An excellent buy for any photographer.
I plan on a trip to Costa Rica in Feb. I bought the camera because of it's 400mm Leica lens and Intelligent Automatic Mode. I am well pleased with the photos I have gotten so far testing it out. It also has all the power one needs taking movies.
