Purchased this along with 25mm for my Inspire 1 Pro, works great! Sharp and light weight for gimbal use.

Zoom out with X5.
Stock 15mm lens is very wide view. This 44mm lens will focus in on subjects. I can see my downtown area from 20 miles away at my house. I use with Inspire1pro and OSMO pro, fits the X5 camera gimbal.

Excellent lens
I have been really pleased with the olympus m4t lenses. I have most all of what they make and I love them all. Very sharp image, easy control over depth of field. Lenses are very well built, light, and incredibly durable. Definitely worth the $

Clean, fast, well built lens.
I purchased this when B&H were having a sale. The lens is a massive step up in terms of quality from the kit 14-42mm kit lens that came with my camera. The lens is very sharp through most of the f/stops, and is easy to focus. I also love how the front element does not move or rotate at all! The focussing ring is a bit to get used to (I am used to using SLR lenses where the focus ring directly moves the elements, whereas with this lens, the focus ... Show More

This is a good deal
I've just started to use the two lenses. The pictures are very sharp, focusing is fast and precise. The set was well priced and included the lenses, hoods and pouches. B&H delivery was very good.

Great bundle!
The 75/1.8 and 45/1.8 lenses are known to be excellent lenses and I concur. To get both, plus the expensive and fantastic hoods, and cases, and a second lens cap for the 75/1.8 for use when the hood is in place, all for the price of a 75/1.8 alone ... what a deal!

Sharp, Fast Lens!!
This lens is incredible! Sharp and fast focusing! IQ is fantastic! Is on my camera 90% of the time now! My new favorite lens!

Great lenses for interviews.
I purchased this as an interview lens to compliment my f1.7 20mm. It was a great choice for setups where I need a closeup but need to keep the camera back.

Superb quality for close-ups
Great lens for close-ups. But also can be effective for landscapes if you are positioned appropriately. Really forces you to move around to get a good perspective. Not good for tight spaces like museum rooms or pubs, unless you want to take pics of your plate or friends' faces. Still, it's a high-Q lens alongside the other Oly primes like the 25 and 17mm/1.8. All three are equally good for low-light photography. Advice; Determine what your own photog style is -- landscape, street, portrait/close-in, or all, then buy the lens that fits it. This 45mm fits the portrait/close-in the best.

A bargain for two excellent prime lenses
The decision about which of these primes to buy was resolved by the savings involved in purchasing them as a package. Obviously useful not only for portraits but for situations where medium telephoto might be in order for a while. The 45mm is very compact and unobtrusive. The 75mm is larger and heavier but offers more length and a more shallow depth of field, and is one of the highest quality lenses available for MFT. Critical! The LH-40B lens hood DOES FIT the 45 mm AFTER YOU UNSCREW A SMALL PROTECTIVE RING from the front of the lens!!

Sublime
i'm an amateur for sure but some of the best photos I've taken over the last 5 years have been in the last 2 weeks with these lenses. Sharpness is great. 45 is plastic but still super solid. 75mm is a tank... love it. Love them both. The 45 rarely comes off my Olympus OM-D EM5ii. I also have the 12-40mm 2.8 pro but the 45mm is by far my favorite. With all the extras and the extreme value of this bundle you can't go wrong.

Portrait Lens
A great lens for portraits of people. Just a little zoom to get in close. I have used on my Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II and my Olympus Pen F with great results

Great portrait lens from Olympus!
So, I have been adding lenses to my OMD-E-M1 and this is the latest one I purchased. This is a great lens for portraits. I love the telephoto view and the photos are clear and sharp even wide open. If you want a lens that makes your photos pop then this is a great lens for that. This lens is light and portable so no reason not to carry it around with your gear when you out and about. Just get it!

Essential Olympus lenses
The 75mm is one of the best m4/3 lenses made, it's expensive, but worth it. The 45 performs nicely. The bundle includes lots of extras (lens hoods and nice storage cases), for less than the price of both lenses individually. B&H did free overnight shipping, so I got everything insanely fast.

Great lens
Pros: Beautiful lens with amazing performance. Both 75 mm and 45 mm works best for portrait photography. Cons: 45 mm is made from plastic body, so does the lens hood. However, 75 mm is metal body and robust. Both lens are good for portrait but not recommended for landscape photography.

Olympus lens
Still want a longer lens for my Inspire2 drone. Even a longer zoom up to a 100mm would be nice Olympus! But very clear in the edges. Nice job! I sure would like to see the Z30x fir the Inspire2. Us DJI LISTENING?

Returning to This Excellent Lens
I purchased one of this lenses a few years ago, but then I sold it thinking that a 1.5 f-stop faster lens is what I wanted. But at over 3 times the weight, the faster & heavier portrait lens was not in line with what the micro four thirds (MFT) movement is all about - compact high performance. I received the Olympus 45mm less than a month ago, and I am very pleased to have this lens again. It was my main go-to lens for a large non-profit event this past weekend, and it will again be my lens of choice as my compact, high performance portrait lens.

Olympus 45mm 1.8 MFT lens
I got this lens to use on my Inspire 1 and Inspire 2 drones. This lens is awesome. I needed this for a 7.4 mile foot race, but couldn't fly over people, so flew offset. Lens gives great clarity and sharpness. Just remember that objects are further away than they appear. Both the X5 and X5S cameras give excellent stability, especially considering it's a telephoto lens. I would recommend getting the DJI balancing rings for whichever camera you use ... Show More

Best value!
I was looking for fast prime lens but had difficulty choosing the right one. I have 14-150mm as my kit lens, and usually take pictures on longer end, so I looked at 45mm and longer, but hesitated to choose just one. This kit solved my problem by offering two great lenses at exceptional combined price and barrel lens cases as a bonus. Both lenses have maximum aperture f/1.8 which results in incredibly fast autofocus, higher shutter speeds and lowe... Show More

Excellent kit.
Excellent value, I had long wanted to purchase the 75mm f1.8 lens and it did not disappoint. Great Bokeh, but certainly great performance in low light. Having the added 45mm f1.8 was a nice added bonus. A good set of Primes.

Just buy it. Now.
Given the price of this kit, you basically pay for the 75mm and the hood and get the 45 and its hood for free. That alone makes it a no-brainer. Here are the common gripes - the 75 is just too long to be used as a portrait lens. No. Just no. Granted, you probably can't take good kitty-cat pictures indoors on the couch with this lens (I tried). But, for studio or outdoor headshots (or even larger), it works great! Yes, it can stop out to 1.8. No, ... Show More

Very sharp lens, but maybe a little long for DJI Inspire 1
Bought this to use with my DJI Inspire 1 Pro. The lens is very sharp and has a nice focus falloff to it. Nice bokeh. Only issue I had with it was the jitters on when flying with it in minor winds (pretty calm). This is a 90mm equivalent on the X5, so it's no surprise that there were some jitters, but still unfortunate. So all-in-all, I can't knock the score too much, because it does a good job being a lens. But maybe a little too much for the Inspire 1 and X5. Looking to replace it with the 25mm instead.
