Faulty Wireless Receiver Communication
There's much I like about this keyboard. It's comfortable, the keys feel nice and with the separate number pad removed it's very compact. Unfortunately I've had a lot of problems with the wireless receivers. I returned the first keyboard because the receiver was faulty and each time I rebooted the computer I needed to unplug the receiver from the USB port and replug it in before it would communicate with the keyboard. best ergonomic keyboard available
My hands get very painful if I use a standard KB for too long, so I have to use this. It's much, much easier to type on than its predecessor, the bulky microsoft ergonomic 4000. The chiclet-like keys require a lot less force. It's lighter, looks better, and don't underestimate the number pad being separated, giving you the ability to put the mouse closer to the keyboard. Reaching for that mouse is a pain; you can shorten that distance considerably with the detached numberpad (although it sucks when you actually need a numberpad, since who knows where it is on your desk) Not good for gaming.

Comfortable and Easy on Wrists
My last keyboard was a Logictech Wireless Wave MK550 Curve. I used it for a few years and would still be using it if hadn't been for a cup of tea. Toward the end, my wrists and fingers were starting to hurt so when I replaced it I thought I'd give the Sculpt a try since it had good reviews. I'm glad I did. Great Keyboard
This product is very comfortable for long use. I previously owned a microsoft natural ergonomic keyboard. It was nice, but I did not like the loud clicking of the buttons in work. This is much more quite. It also has a very uniquie design with the center cutout that is unique. I would reccomend this keyboard to anyone! The only complaint I would have is the number keypad that is disconnected from the keyboard. Some people my love it, but not my style.

Best keyboard for balance of ergonomics & function
This keyboard has some of the best ergonomic design you can find and all while maintaining a very sleek Apple-like design. The keys are very light to the touch which I love, I was used to hammering my last keyboard which I didn't realize till now. Ex;erience with Scultp keyboard
I am a heavy duty keyboarder. The compact sculpt design is very comfortable. BUT, the Chiclet keys (smaller than a regular keyboard) take some getting used to. There are no indicator lights that tell if cap lock is on or number keypad is on. And because the keyboard is smaller, the heal of my hand pivots the top of the keyboard up and it bounces when I type. For someone without dexterity issues, the keyboard is good.

Absolutely love it!
This keyboard is the best to date that Microsoft has put out! The texture of the keys and looks of the entire unit is perfect for the job, whether I'm working an eight hour day at the office or just catching up on calls and emails. I love the design and the ergonomics of this keyboard. With a modern approach to the keys with a feeling more like laptop or Apple keyboards, the keys are very responsive and quiet. great for Mac
I'm using this keyboard on a Mac. I've swapped the Option and Apple keys in the system preferences and after that the keyboard feels like a normal mac keyboard. Installing is as easy as plugging in the USB receiver and removing the plastic between the battery contacts. The separate keypad is rather useless but at least it's not in the way.

Just what an ergo keyboard should be
Put your hands on your current keyboard as if you are going to type. Look at the unnatural angle of your wrists - both up and out. Type like that for years. OR Picture your hands in line with your arms both horizontally and vertically while typing. That's what this keyboard does for you. Having typed conventionally for some 40 years I'm still adjusting to the spread needed between my two hands. But the overall positioning is absolutely worth it in terms of reduced strain. If you'll be typing for years to come, you want one of these.

Absolutely LOVE this keyboard
I bought this keyboard for work about 2 months ago and have no complaints. I love the way the keys feel when pressed, crisp, shallow, and quiet. The ergonomics is obviously a plus. It's also light weight so it's east to move around my desk My only complaint is superficial. The material surrounding the keys is a gloss black that attracts fingerprints so if you're super OCD, it might bother you. The keys are a matte material though so the gloss part is a very small portion of the keyboard.

Good Keyboard
The keyboard is a little expensive, but it forces your hands and arms to be in the proper position. It does take some getting use to it. The build quality is good also. Plus it looks kinda cool also. The only negative thing on the keyboard is that there's no FN key. It uses a toggle switch which can be annoying at times.

Great Keyboard
I love this little keyboard! Very comfortable, and increased my typing speed! I like that the number pad is separate - it allows me to center the keyboard with the screen (instead of having it off to the side to allow room for the number pad and mouse). I have used other Microsoft ergonomic keyboards, and this is my favorite!

Just like how it looks
It's awesome! Unlike other traditional keyboards, your wrists are being elevated meaning that you won't feel sore anymore. It's stylish, looks fancy, typing experience is very great, but sometime the response may be a bit slow.

Comfortable, but a couple of minor uhs
I purchased two of these keyboards for home and work. One of the keyboards had a couple of keys that were intermittent. Discovered the key caps had not been put on correctly- once reseated, been working fine. As there is no on/off switch, the unit powers down with no indication. Favorite keyboard, but not perfect
I've replaced my home and work keyboards with this now, and look forward to many years of good use. Pros: Keys have short, positive click. Allows for fast and accurate typing. Contour is very comfortable. There is a noticeable space saving here, which allows the mouse to be closer to the typing area. Good Keyboard - Arrow Keys Need Improvem
Overall a pretty good keyboard. I was a fan of the older Microsoft ergonomic keyboards, so its great to see the new one keeps the ergonomic-ness I need from having to work at a computer all day. The Good: I have a Logitech wave at home, and previously a MS ergo 4000, and I like this better than both. The shape is similar to the ergo and ergo, but more pronounced and wider. exactly what I was looking for
It's absolutely great expirience using this keyboard. I love this Microsoft Ergonomic keyboards. My hands feeling restfull even after long day typing. The only issue I'd like to change is a highlight, because at night it can be difficult to find speicial key.

One of the best ergonomic keyboards
The MS Sculpt keyboard is designed for comfort and built for speed. The curvatures and padding of this keyboard alleviate a lot of strain on the wrists and hands, and the easy action makes for faster typing. Solid, well-built, and very stylish with its Batmanesque appearance. Microsoft should offer a usb/rf dongle that allows more than a single device connection. Also, this keyboard uses a switch to access the special function keys, and I think that's a step back from an Fn key.
