Works as Expected - High Quality Webcam
It works with Windows 10 and Ubuntu 16.04 out of the box. No issues with drivers, etc. High quality image and video. It mounts easily to a desktop monitor. The lens cap is a nice bonus feature.

Installed malware
Has anybody else had malware installed when following the instructions to download the optional software? Since following the URL in the booklet, I can't load make a move in my browser without getting 13 webpages advertising media zen, mac cleaner. The camera without software is fine, but would like to take advantage of the promised zoom, pan, etc.

Excellent webcam...
This cam was bought to produce online webinars and initial use shows it to be excellent quality. The picture is notably sharper than a laptop in-built cam - much better quality image. And the integral mics )one each side of the lens) also produce decent sound quality, at least within what I'd class as normal range (distance) of use with a laptop. Handy Webcam
This beats all the past webcams I've ever had. I do a lot of conference calls and this webcam has 2 things I really like. 1)It has a great microphone; I can actually use the webcam microphone to do my conference calls because it picks up my voice so clearly! 2) it comes with a nifty camera cover that blocks the camera when I'm not using it. With so many cameras being hacked - that's a great thing to have.

Disappointing
The camera itself may be good, but the software is a nightmare. You have to run the software in Admin mode, and I still can't get 1080p or 30 fps. I made an account with Logitech and asked for help. Many days later I have heard from no one. The software says I need to install device drivers for this camera. I would be happy to do that, and maybe the lack of them is why I cannot get 1080p and 30 fps, but I CANNOT find the @#$% drivers on the Logit... Show More

Works Great
Works great. The camera control functions allow you to tilt, pan, and zoom. The auto-focus is quick and there are exposure adjustments if needed. I didn't have use for the stereo microphone as I love my Yeti :) I also ended up purchasing an inexpensive tri-pod. The bast of the camera clips nicely onto the top of the screen but I wanted a bit more of a side view that went beyond the pan function on the camera...and the camera base tilts but doesn't pan other than through the software (which is pretty good). I think you will be pleased with how it works as a web-cam device :)

Nice webcam for the money
The c930e does an excellent job, the camera is very sensitive and produces more than acceptable images even in low light. The microphone is super sensitive, you will need to adjust audio levels after initial setup. The ability to zoom, pan and tilt make this camera worth the few extra dollars compared to standard webcams.

Plug and play excellence
Plugged in and up and running right out of the box, used successfully with Skype within the time it took to open Skype and dial someone. Great video quality, perfectly adequate audio quality for a conversation or a guitar lesson. I wish all products were this easy to use and had this much quality. Great vaiue.

Nice full HD web cam
So far this little buddy is working fine. Full HD. Plug and play. Works on both my Mac and PC. First thing I really like; It has plenty of space for the grip. It had to fit over my Mac Cinema Display and it is really thick. I was worried about this. Number two; this may sound silly but I love that the lens has a little sliding cover that way the eye of HAL is not staring at you when not in use. It looks attractive and seems well made. Lets hope I do not have to edit this in a couple of months. It is a tad pricey however...

SUPERB LOGITECH WEBCAM
Totally awesome webcam! Run, don't walk to your nearest electronic store and grab yourself one of these marvels of technical wizardry. I just cannot fathom how Logitech crammed so much technology into such a small package. Videos recorded from this tiny contraption rival those made with my fancy DLSR. I got me a 12 foot USB extension cord, a stable tripod and some cheap lighting and voila! You have a very capable video camera for a little over 100 clams! Viva Logitech! Kudos to B&H for its superb service and lightning fast delivery.

Good build and nice quality
I originally intended on purchasing the c920 but the price from B&H encouraged me to go with this one. I have not had a chance to use it for its intended use which is for my online testing at the end of the courses I'm taking online. I did however connect it to make sure it works. Great video, awful sound
Webcam for teleconferences. Video features are excellent, but audio is terrible.From the start, remote users complained that the sound was terrible and that I could not be understood. I never had this problem with my earlier tennis-ball Logitech camera. I ended up continuing to use the tennis ball for the audio source while using the c930e for video.I had the same experience on Skype, Webex and Google Hangouts.A discussion on the Logitech forum confirms that the problem was not with my unit, but with the design of the device. Others also have the problem.

Microphone is pathetically weak.
The video is OK, but I still need to experiment with lighting that will--I believe--bring it up to my original expectations. The micophone is horrible, muddies the sound and even in decent software I cannot improve it. Answer? Ordered a dedicated microphone. I wish reviewers would have noted that, or, in posts explain how to improve it. I don't have the time to fool with it, so ordered the USB mic. Hopefully that will work and the two will produce decent quality in Camtasia

Logitech's C930e webcam hits a homerun!
I own a Mac Pro, one of the few Apple computers that comes without a webcam. I needed one so that I could do Google hangouts with my drum instructors that live in Canada while I am in California. Right out of the box the camera plugged into a USB port and it worked. No drivers, no software installation, just worked. I can't say that about anything I ever used on my PC. The picture is fantastic and I couldn't be happier. Tested mine on a Mac only...

C930e Does not work on a Mac
The Logitech C930e is billed as a top end webcam that can work, both on a Mac and on a PC. What they don't tell you is that in order to get the webcam to do video on the Mac, you need to go through a tricky and long process of disabling the built-in isight camera. For some purposes, this wouldn't be a problem but becomes more problematical if you are using a MacBook and have to carry the C930e around with you. I called Logitech for help and they said that I should call Apple to figure out how to disable the iSight camera. Very unhappy.

Nice camera
I bought this camera to use with my Macbook air for a weekly web show that I do. I wanted something a little better than the build in iSite camera. This camera was one of the few HD cameras that I could find that would work with my Mac. It just plugs right in and you're ready to go, almost. I found the picture to be overexposed at first and needed to download the software from logitech to correct it. Once I did that I had a much better picture. To be honest I think this camera could cost about $80 less for what you get but your choices are limited if you're buying for a Mac.

High Quality Product good price
I use my web cam for webinars and professional instructional in the field of education. This web cam is perfect for professional use but not so complicated or bulky to make it frustrating. First of all it is a plug and play for PC AND Mac! If you have a mac mini, this is your webcam! The quality of the video is astounding and the width of the shot is perfect for needing extra space shown behind/beside you for products or charts etc.
