Love it!
I needed to replace my 9 year old Samsung and saw this at a really great price. I didn’t have a smart tv so wasn’t looking for bells and whistles but the price was right so I went for it! I’m so impressed! I no longer need to attach my external speakers, I can access Netflix and Amazon video without changing hdmi slots and it automatically recognised my Freesat box! Good picture too! I hope it lasts as long as my last telly and I now see what I’ve been missing by not having a smart tv!

Great TV for the money
We needed a new TV so this was a highly attractive option. After reading reviews on here and other sites decided that this was too good to pass up. Not at all disappointed. It has all of the things we needed built in Freesat, Now TV, Prime Video and Netflix. It Took about 10 minutes to set up and get everything working. Picture quality is extremely good at this price bracket and is sharp and clear. Sound quality is very good even mounted on the wall. Very pleased with the quality at this price.

Great for the price
Glad I bought the TV. The sound isn’t spectacular and a soundbar purchase is encouraged when you buy the item. I think a TV should just have a great sound, and if you want something like surround then you can get it. Paying extra for an integral element that should come with a tv is rubbish Screen resolution is great, connects well, the little spoke feet at the bottom of the telly can slip off the side of your cabinet if you’re not careful. Telly is very light. I’d give it a solid 7.

Unfortunately not impressed
I've always liked LG TVs for their quality, longevity and affordable price. Unfortunately this TV turned out different. Mainly is the picture quality. It's not very sharp and really dark. There is no option to change/improve brightness or contrast apart from ready to choose from options. Those don't help much. Next thing is the phone/pad connectivity. As far as I know, you need an app to pair your device with the TV. I've replaced my LG for a Bush TV - same price. Argos were great with return.

Great tv
A lot of tv for the price, sound is amazing with plenty of options. My sky remote automatically paired up with tv and works with sound and power on/off. Connection to built in WiFi easy with no problems including sky box and DVD player. Everything is hdmi connection now and no need for scart socket. Picture quality is good but not many options to be honest but trying to figure out for adjustment by myself without the built in options, but overall a great tv and very happy with purchase.

Amazing for the price
I'll keep it brief. I bought this on a whim to replace a Hisense 43" 4K HDR TV died just after a year and I am so happy with my purchase. The Hisense software was dreadful, crashing over and over only fixable by removing the power cable. This 1080P set uses the same LG OS as all other LG's and its way more polished and I am yet to experience a problem. The picture quality although only 1080P is superb, way better than the Hisense same as the sound. Great set, great price. Easy 5 stars

These are great
We wanted a TV for the standard freeview as we don't have any sky/virgin etc. To be honest we're very surprised by the picture quality and sound. Youtube etc is very fast via Wi-Fi. I understand some of the comments re set up and how you could get stuck in the loop by just highlighting the wrong section but once you understand how LG set up works it is easy, took me 10min max and trust me I'm not a tech person. Only one down point the aerial input needs to be on the side and not rear.

First LG tv purchase
I was so sceptical when looking for a new tv after my last being a samsung the backlight finally gave up. I decided this tv had much better positive reviews compared to the other 43" tvs i was looking at. Set up very easy! The sound=amazing definitely put my last tv to shame. The picture= so many settings to choose from so you can set up just how you prefer. For wall mounting i think i had to use M5 bolts which doesnt come with but easy grab from hardware stores.

Good quality and value
Very easy to set up and to find way round all the buttons on the handset. Comes with freeview channels, Netflix etc ready to go, which is good for us as we are ceasing using Virginmedia for TV channels. Really good picture quality, so good I can watch easily from the kitchen. In-built sound quality is also very good and it is not at all necessary to acquire additional speakers. I was pleasantly surprised by how light the TV is, despite its size I can lift it easily.

Looks and works great.
Very happy with TV, functions seem to be easy to find on remote. Not tried the smart function so can’t comment on this. Plenty of connections for games console and dvd. As with most Flat screen TVs would benefit from a sound bar, however it’s fine most of the time. It’s low frequency, low volume dialogue where it struggles to give clear sound. However, this is the best TV I found in this price catagory at Argos looking at functions, size and connections.

Fab tv
Great smart tv. Great value for the price!! Took 20 minutes to try and connect to the internet, but once done, all great. My sky remote won't let me adjust the volume, but I have to contact sky to get a code to do this, so no probs. Picture quality is great. Thought it would be on a middle stand, but has stands on either sides of the tv, so had to swop furniture to let tv stand up, which was a bit of a pain. Other than that, quite happy and would recommend!!

Great TV
Bought this for my parents to replace an old 32" Sony. Got to say what a great TV for the price. Sharp clear picture with good contrasts between dark and light. The colours are vibrant. The sound as allways with the slim designs is ok for general viewing but music and film watching will need a soundbar and sub. Easy to set up and light to handle. The remote is a little small for older people but not a big problem. Value for money.

Good cost effective television
Bought to replace our main TV, as bedroom one broke so decided to replace main one and move older one to bedroom. Great TV,easy to set up. The LG app is a bit complicated and still not sure if it's working as it should. Had hoped that I would have been able to use it with my Google home mini but hasn't been able to. Great picture quality and sound is brilliant. On our older one had to use a soundbar but no need with this one.

I now have two LG TVs
I purchased my first LG tv for my bedroom and was so impressed with everything about it including the set up which was so easy that I decided to buy my recent LG for my living room as my old one had served its time. Again the whole LG experience of setting up and the quality, in particular the ability to balance the volume on the programmes with that of the adverts. I have recommended LG to members of my family. Thankyou LG

love Lg Tvs, but why no smart remote anymore
Purchased for my elderly parents, The best smart interface of any modern Tv in my opinion, the only down side is that there is no smart remote { with mouse pointer} with this particular model , why not, this is a great feature, we have two Lg Tvs with this, so much easier to navigate, maybe its only the largest sets, but should say in the description what type of remote it comes with. apart from that gripe, highly recommend

Brilliant tv
Love this TV, found the picture quality was good evening from a slight angle on some of our seating in the lounge, the sound is much better and clearer than on our previous set. Particularly like Netflix and Prime all being on this one remote, as we use both. Would recommend wall mounting this set though as it feels a bit unstable on the legs, but imagine this is because most people do in fact wall mount these days.

Excellent value
Obviously not top of the range, hence the 4 stars, but good looking and very good value. Not as slim as I was expecting, but that's not a problem for me. Fairly easy to set up, but went into some weird mode when it did a firmware update (switch off and on fixed it). 3 x HDMI, but 4 would be better. Very low power consumption, (about 1/2 of my previous TV). Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great value for money
Great value for money, only down side for me is the hdmi/Ariel ports are on the rear so I had to buy a new wall bracket which brought it away from the wall. The TV sets up simply from the box and as with all LG products, it's spot on. The only minor gripe I have is with the picture brightness/colour, you can only use pre sets and cannot set the picture to your own settings, apart form that it's tip top.

Great Purchase
This LG set was purchased to replace an ageing Sony and actually failed to pick up any Freeview channels on multiple scans. LG Customer Service were surprisingly good and agreed that the TV was faulty and to return it for exchange. This is where the great Argos service kicks in as they readily agreed to swap to a new set which worked correctly straight away.. Would definitely recommend.

Outstanding
Purchased this for my new flat and it was simple and easy to setup! Picture quality is ace and sound is great too. tv comes with prime and Netflix built in with a handy button for each, also features Freeview plus, now tv, bbc I player, itv player and 4od. Can access the internet too! Would highly recommend. Love it! Has all the inputs too, usb for tv recording, 3 hdmi ports and aerial.

Very pleased with this product
This great TV allowed me to spend the hangover-riddled last week of my Christmas break doing nothing except watching it (and occasionally pressing buttons on the remote), which was about all I was good for. I would highly recommend this item (but not so much the hangover). Things turned out more than satisfactorily, considering I originally visited the Argos website to buy a treadmill.

Great potential but.....
We had this TV for 24 hours and whilst its great for plugging kit in, ie FREESAT HDMI etc the smart functionality is the major fault. After setting up Netflix or any other app during the streaming the TV runs out of memory and the app closes. sadly after googling the error its not just me, its many models and all over the world. :-( Sadly LG's product won't be purchased again.

Great quality and value
This TV exceeded my expectations considering its entry-level price. Picture quality is excellent even with an internal 'plug-in' ariel. Found terrestrial channels first time when auto-tuned and connected to the internet for iPlayer etc. straight away. Lightweight but feels robust enough to last. Not tested the quality of the stand / legs, as the item has been wall hung.

Took it back and went with JVC
Viewing from the sweet spot ok. From an angle the picture leaves much to be desired.. Also whoever designed the support legs to be so far apart should be charged for the new TV stand you have to buy to accommodate the increase in width. Took it back and went with a JVC. Much better picture when viewing at an angle and the swivel stand meant we could keep the old TV stand.
