Very happy with quality.
Great monitor coming from a 10 year old 30 Cinema Display. I was surprised at the yellowish tint my old display had compared to the more neutral tone in the LG display. Price is pretty much the only complaint, although I probably paid nearly $3000 for the 30 back in the day. It is very lightweight compared to the old monitor. It floats nicely on a monitor arm.

Great Monitor for Productivity
This is a great monitor. I use it for visual development (concept art, wire-frames, color reproduction) and the occasional video game (AAA exclusives). I did not know the differences between NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync before purchasing - luckily this ends up not being a problem for me but if you have a computer with an NVIDIA graphics card you might want to look at a different monitor. Trading in for 5K
Love the size, love the curved display, love the connections, love that it connects to the new MacBook Pro via USB-C... I just can't get past the lack of pixels per inch... Coming from an iMac 5K, I can't get past the lack of crisp text and pictures. I'll be forced to return it.

I used to have the 34 curved. Now I got the 38 curved and the extra 400 pixels are definitely a gain. the curve is just about right. I also like the definition.

A very immersive experience
Its very wide but it is also tall too. Plenty of real estate for my CAD software. Crystal clear display. Im very happy with my purchase. Only down sides are that it does not come in a black color option and the montior itself is a little shaky on the stand, though given it's size, there isn't really a good way to stabilize it well. Highly recommend and well worth the price for the increase in productivity.

Meets Expectations
As a single giant 38 Ultrawide at 3840x1600, it's everything I expected and wanted it to be. The pixels density is perfect, the color reproduction is great. The screen realestate is almost exactly the same as a 20/30/20 PLP multi monitor setup, but with no bezels. Stunning Monitor
The color reproduction is stellar. The curvatureis sharper than my last one (Dell 34) so at distance it doesn't seem much larger. My biggest complaint is the power button which fades on and off when the device is in power save mode. Since I'm using this in my room it's bothersome to have a light blinking at night. It will do 75hz at full resolution with Nvidia cards over DP. I don't use it for gaming so I can't speak to its performance there. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade over a 34, but I'm still happy with it.

Bad quality control on otherwise great monitor
I ordered before the monitor was released, so I likely had one of the first ones. The monitor was DOA - a larger vertical white strip on the screen and no input worked. LG shipped me a replacement unit a week later. The replacement is exactly what I expected. No dead or bright pixels with a beautiful picture.
