Great sound
Bought this sound bar and subwoofer for my husband, he found it very easy to fit to our television and because the subwoofer is small it's not intrusive. Although the subwoofer is small it gives great base and the bar also gives great sounds. Only thing we thought was bad design is the power cable goes into the front of the subwoofer so can be seen.

Ok but not as good as it should be for the price
Chose a more expensive sound bar as I thought you got what you paid for. Sadly this has not lived up to the saying. The setup was almost impossible even after reading the book over and over. I have still yet to get anything but the basic jack plug input to work even after purchasing a hdmi lead (not supplied!). It works, after a fashion. If I pause a TV program it turns itself off after about a minute which is really annoying. Also the remote came with a flat battery!

Fits perfectly under my 43'' tv
It's a great product for its price. I set it up as soon as i got it and have had several movie nights with friends so sound is good. If you want more frill you need to pay more but if you are renting and don't want police knocking on your door then it's perfect for you.

soundbar is a belter
Aye this sound bar is a pure belter so it is man, tellin ye the sound oot this is heavy dynamite and here it looks pure dead brilliant tae so it does. A love it man, especially when av got ma heavy bangin tunes up full pelt, here and that subwoofer adds a healthy bass tae man. Pure quality but a kit this troops.

Awesome
Absolutely fantastic soundbar. I am completely impressed. Originally I just wanted to purchase to boost the low sound on the tv, but i am constantly listening to music and watching movies now as the soundbar makes it so much better. The Subwoofer is awesome. 10/10, couldn't be more impressed.

Let down by tiny remote control
For the money this sound bar ‘sounds’ good but of course hearing is a personal experience. The tiny remote control is difficult to use because the buttons are so small. This means that the symbols on each button are very difficult to read. With a decent remote control this would be a much better piece of equipment. Not good for anybody with anything other than very good eyesight. If you can live with this then in my opinion this is as good as you will get for the price.

MY NEW SOUNDBAR
The product item is perfect,the assistant at my local argos was polite and very helpful,the soundbar is amazing quality and wonderful quality sound,i have recently recomended this item to a friend.

Decent for the price
Decent sound, instructions almost useless, make sure tv is set to PCM mode not dolby. Quite a jump from mute to lowest volume so if i want the tv quiet i usually revert to tv speakers.

Top rate product at modest price
At modest price not expecting a brilliant product but, not so, took a while to set up to my old TV set but Wow, what a difference almost like being at the Cinema, would rate both my new sound bar and the service from Argos as top rate.

My sound bar is fab
I decided to get a sound bar as I got a bigger tv and wanted to make the sound better on it as we love watching moves.couldnt go wrong it it easy to set up but down fall I had to get the cable for it as wasn't included be it's been great sound is brilliant all in all it a great and would recommend it

Attractive item and good quality
I am very satisfied with this item now however I did have problems with the set up and needed to ring the helpline. After many attempts the adviser said it was faulty and to return it. This I did and was given a replacement. However I encountered the same problems. There was no fault it was simply that I needed to press a specific button on the remote which I had not been told to do and nor was it on the instructions. I came about this myself by accident. Better instructions needed!

great value soundbar
Easy to set up, sound quality is good. I do recommend to buy and optical cable as this is not included. The remote is too small so watch out as can easily be lost. Decent bass and volume, so if you are looking for a value soundbar go for this one

Great sound quality.
My TV did not have good audio on its own with a vibration on bass sounds. The sound bar has sorted all this out. Speech is much more audible and music quality has improved. Very pleased.

Excellent sound quality
Excellent sound quality, I couldn't get it tow too with my TV using hdmi, so using aux. Will try coaxial and see if it improves. Lights on the right tell you which function is active, keypad is nice and clear, only upside would be to have presets for the sound mode but got things sounding great after a bit of a play.

Fairly easy setup. Working fine with aux cable to hisense tv. Couldn’t use hdmi. Sound quality is better than what expected for that price. Would recommend this product.

Sounds great!
Setup is easy, but the subwoofer didn't pair to the soundbar as easily as the instructions would suggest. Sound is great. VERY bassy (you can turn the subwoofer down) and nice crisp treble which is good for normal TV viewing. The only thing that annoys me is that it turns off after however long of no sound input (fair enough) and it doesn't turn back on when there is sound again so I keep having to turn it on.

Easy to set up with decent sound
This offers a great deep base feel for movies and my XBox games. The sub woofer can be set up anywhere and I put mine behind the sofa so I get the rumble without being too loud for the neighbours. Great for music with blue tooth from my phone. For the money this really does the job.

Great Value Product
If your eloping for really good sound at a low price then you can't go wrong with this. Yes you could get a much better sound system but this is cheap and I believe provides the ideal quality for your home with a good balance of bass, mid and treble. Easy Bluetooth connectivity for your devices and various connection options for TV. I highly recomd this product to help bring tv/film/music to life.

Sound Bar - Hitachi
Sound quality very good, when working correctly. However remote control stopped working within 10 weeks of purchase meaning the use of the controls on the side of the sound bar. With constant use ( 2 weeks) the on/ off switch became unreliable and worked intermittently. We have subsequently exchanged it for the same system hoping it was a one off. If remote and soft switches are reliable I would be happy to recommend, however time will tell.
