this was the second one
i bought my first one on 19th May and had to take it back on 20th due to only working for 1 film and turning itself off and Argos refunded me and ordered me a new one that i picked up on 22nd May worked all that night and stopped working again on 23rd May and took it back on 24th May and got a full refund so i would say do not buy unless you want alot of running around

this sound bar is the proverbial dogs doo daas
this sound bar ha a very clear and dedicated sound ,it reaches the bass with no effort and could if so inclined shake your viewing room ,it is powerful and so versatile i use the bluetooth for my mac and my iphone as well as through a well sorted hitachi smart tv . 10/ 10 for this fantastic product ,i am glad i upgraded from its little brother when it went wrong .

Awesome Sound
I bought this to go with my new TV. Oh boy, it's brilliant. Such a depth of sound. The bass is ideal. The bass box itself is big so be aware of the size. I also use it to play music through Bluetooth and again, it's absolutely awesome. I did have to purchase an optic cable to go with it as this is the only output on the TV. I would totally recommend this.

Your neighbors will not be happy!!
Recently upgraded to this sound bar. Honestly the bass is simply awesome the bass speaker is very heavy and well constructed. The bar has an elegant upmarket feel rivalling much much more expensive makes! OMG I’m very critical and was really literally blown away by this great bit of kit. Highly recommend especially at this reasonable price!

Great sound
Brought this to go with our smart tv as the sound wasn’t that brilliant. Watching movies now feels like you are in the cinema. Great sound! Wasn’t as easy to set up and had a few little issues but over all happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for one! Price was great too!!!

Big Sound!
Bought this to go with my 43in lg tv. It's massively added to my entertainment system. The bass is very loud and clear, in fact I had to turn the sub to its lowest setting as it's a bit overpowering. Connected to my TV with the arc hdmi, which allows me to control it with the TV remote.

A fantastic, slim soundbar.
Slim design, non obtrusive sub. Be aware that the bar is very long so would suit wall mounting under/over the screen. Best suited to 55"+ screens due to length. Sound quality is fantastic, low deep bass and crisp clear highs. Good for standard TV watching, fantastic for movies.

Quality sounds
Great product. Set up not that easy. But once all done sound quality is excellent. Made a real difference for us and the extra speaker for the bass makes all films like the cinema. Couldn't get it to work with sky box remote, but works well with the tv remote .

the sound bar is excellent for the price, I have a different brand in another room and is much more expensive and I find the Hitachi more clear in the vocals but not as good with the surround sound but its a bargain and will recommend it, well worth the price

Great looking soundbar
Great soundbar. Feels very well made and the wireless subwoofer definitely packs a big punch. Easy to set up. The sound can be a little tinny though the tv but playing music from my phone is awesome. Overall very impressive. I would definitely buy this again

Okay, could be better.
Decent sound and heavy bass make this a very good mid priced sound bar. Not as good as my old Sony sound bar but for the money well worth a go. Unfortunately it won't link via ARC HDMI to my SKY Q box so I have to use the volume control separately.

Adds really booming option ..
This addition to my hisense 55 4k tv has really added the extra bass required to enjoy watching movies and sports ..connected via arc with hdmi and links all my devices in one remote..this will do a good job until dolby atmos bars will affordable..

Easy setup, some feedback with bass
Easy setup, sounds better than the tv alone, but there is a noise especially during quiet times in the programmes which you can hear from the subwoofer. It is minor but it is also audible and a little annoying. But not bad for the price

The sound bar looks and sounds good
This bar looks good and sounds pretty good. A nice budget unit. The only issue I found is that the wireless sub has to be within 3 meters of the bar. Would have preferred a greater distance so I could place sub closer to my sofa.

Great sounding sound bar, at a bargain price.
I wanted a cheap sound bar to compliment my new tv. This Hitachi sound bar, sounds great, looks well under the tv, and you can be flexible as to where you can place the sub, due to it being wireless. Highly recommended.

Really pleased with the soundbar for the money
Good sound great base - it always syncs up which I was concerned about it being wireless. All the inputs you could want plus the auto off is handy. Deffo recommend if your looking for better audio quality from your tv.

I love it
I love it, best thing I’ve bought, next door hate me now though for blasting me music but it’s like a lil race , bad booster is a bit big and struggled to find somewhere to put it but apart from that it’s amazing

Subwoofer stopped working
Didn't get chance to check out sound quality for movies and music as subwoofer wouldn't turn on second day. TV sounded only a little better than without soundbar. Returned and bought another make.

Great Sound
The sound is better then I expected. I hope that my neighbours will be fine with it. BTW> there was no straight answer about the weight of the package. So packed it weights 25kg ;)
