The YouTube reviews weren’t lying!!
I have always struggled to find a headset that is balanced. Either they sound great but they’re uncomfortable or they comfortable but the sound is off. This headset does everything very well. It’s easy to use, the sound is great for competitive multiplayer games giving you an edge in shooters. One thing is for sure you will not find a more comfortable headset than this one. The tech they use is very similar to ski products, I’m unsure about the ins and outs but one thing is for sure it’s comfy

Bluetooth connectivity very poor
The looks and feel of this headset is second to none, after owning a pair of astro a50 gen 3's they had some serious competition on their hands. They look amazing, they dont feel like they are on your head, so comfortable and lightweight. Sound quality is crisp and very customizable, My 1 and very important gripe was after I had connected up I was disconnected numerous times, I had re connected switching them on and off everytime they disconnected, I'm sat within 3 meters! Big thumbs down

Great piece of kit with some snags
Positives This headset is amazing, lightweight easy to wear I have short hair so the fabric grips pretty well when I'm out and about, the sound quality is amazing with tons of play time with the huge batteries inside. For me my absolute favourite thing is being able wirelessly connect to my xbox and my phone so I can play and listen to a podcast at the same time. Negatives You can get interference from WiFi that can cut the connection to the xbox forcing you to power cycle the headset

Arctis 9X first impressions
disappointed no base station & removable rechargeable batteries. But big battery & long usage Sound is immersive. MIC is not top end but above average Connecting is simple-controls easy to use-Bluetooth controls require learning connection started to drop occasionally & sound dies completely & had to reset power to reconnect not sure if this is a wireless interference being the cause-seen other reviews where people reporting same issue-Apart from connectivity issue, this is a good headset

Sounds good. Poor connection issues.
I bought this headset after reading a load of reviews, and very much wanted to treat myself to a wireless headset. The Good: Good sound Design of headset is sleek and that's about it... The Bad: - Connection issues (or this is what I experienced) - I would find myself constantly turning on/off the headphones to reconnect (this was not ideal in some online multiplayer games) - No dual game sound to game chat dial - Can become fairly uncomfortable during longer gaming sessions

OMG 1 headset for all my requirements!
I’m a professional by day using Microsoft Teams & Skype for Business by day and then an Xbox gamer in my spare time. Also love to listen to music and watch things on tv/tablet with headphones. It’s taken many years of research before I committed to these ... getting by with my iPhone headset for my phone/tablet, a plantronics headset for work. Thought I’d regret and return this as quite pricey, but the only regret here is I didn’t buy it sooner. Perfect as it uses WiFi & Bluetooth!

Really bad at staying connected
This product has a lot of things I like such as a Wireless connection, audio balancer, 4 settings for bass and connects to my phone through Bluetooth so I can play Minecraft be in a party and listen to music or a movie as I play but for all it dose nothing is more frustrating and infuriating as being in the middle of a conversation and listen on to enemy’s moving around you to only then have it cut out on you and it dose this so often you mite as well not use them for gaming do not buy

Worth The Money, The Best Headset I've Used
I'd been using a wireless 5.1 headset but the optical connection made the audio settings a hassle every time and the wireless receiver would drop in and out annoyingly. This headset connects up with the Xbox's wireless system (like a controller) and has been completely solid, I plug it in and the xbox switches to my headset format and that's it. They're not 5.1 but with the Atmos app (or the free Windows Sonic one) I've found they sound better than the 5.1 set I had anyway. Fantastic.

Almost perfect.
First and foremost, the headphones are incredibly comfy. I almost forget I'm wearing them!. The battery life is incredible too. I've owned mine for 2 weeks, few hours of gaming most nights. I still haven't charged them. The mic quality is also fantastic, as well as the easy access and functionality of the buttons and dials on the headset. The only slight down side is the odd unexplained disconnection when using Xbox wireless. It happens rarely, but annoying nonetheless.

It's an absolutely fantastic product bar one issue
It is a fantastic purchase. Great, sturdy build. Comfortable to wear and plush cups over the ear. Strong battery life, and distinctive design. Dual connectivity with your phone, which means you can seamlessly switch between game chat and private phone call without a breath. But. The volume is atrocious. Regular earphones are much louder, and much more practical. The equaliser, far from making it better, makes the volume worse when you turn up the volume. It's quite sad.

Well done Steelseries 10/10
I have been waiting for a dedicated Steelseries XBOX headset and at last they delivered and the wait was worth every bit of it. Build quality is outstanding, amazingly comfortable. Connection is so simple, switch the headset on and pair directly to the XBOX, no dongle needed. Sound quality has blown me away with the clarity and they have Bluetooth too so play music, answer your phone when gaming, what's not too like. Best XBOX headset??? could possibly be.

Not that impressed
We did some real extensive research into these headphones as I think they are not cheap. We went this these after lots of positive reviews. Bought as a Xmas present for my son. Two days after Xmas the headphones completely froze and after speaking online to the steel series helpline, We had located the reset button. They have froze twice again as of 31.01.2020 and I’m Not prepared to suffer anymore. They are going straight back for refund.

Best wireless headset for Xbox one X
These are worth every penny... Great design, easy to connect no issues at all... Really comfy, even after 12hours gaming.. Battery never runs out in them 12hrs on a full charge.. Sound quality superior to anything else I've used.. Also have my phone on bluetooth connection to listen to music and answer calls at the same time as gaming.. Others say my mic is so clear when chatting... Cant say how happy I am with these...

Comfortable, Excellent sound, but some issues
Pros: •Awesome Sound •Very comfortable even during long periods •Can connect to two devices at once, example, my Xbox and my phone and can mix the sound and chat volume at once Cons: •Xbox connectivity issues - meaning it connects, but disconnects from the Xbox at any random time, and sometimes requires you to turn it off completely and back on, not very good when you're in an intense firefight in a game

Must have headphones for serious gamers
Excellent headphones for Xbox gamers. I am completely satisfied with these headphones. It enables me to play my games and stay in contact with friends and family by the switch of a button. Audio is crystal clear and the headphones are comfortable to wear for long periods without your ears overheating. The design is stylish and visually attractive. I have recommended it to all my friends.

Perfect
Would really recommend. Being completely wireless and connecting to multiple devices is perfect. Being on the Xbox and then allowing me to take a phone call from my mobile (the mic automatically transitions to your phone) and you can easily change the audio level on the headset. A friend recommended this, but I was dubious due to the cost, but id say definitely worth it

Headset very comfy on the ears, Sound quality good, Unfortunatly i had connection issues, And had to return them, They would not connect to xbox dongle on my pc, But my gamepad connects no problem, So defiantly a headset problem, But they connected to the xbox fine and worked ok, So if u want these just for the xbox, They may be fine for you,

Good Headset
The headset is very good and sound quality is top of the line. The battery life lasts usually for over a full day although it end to charge it every night. The only problem is that it sometimes loses connection for a minute or so. The Bluetooth functionality has made it very easy to listen to music whilst playing games.

Good all round headset
Connects to Xbox one very easily, Bluetooth is easy to use, ski style headband is very very comfy, ear cups can become a little uncomfortable after several hours of use, battery life is very long, can play a full day and no need to charge, easy to use controls, better than the turtle beach stealth 700's I had before

Headset is great
Great headset you get what you pay for. I have had cheaper headsets that don’t last that long so decided to spend a little more this time and so far so good. The build is strong and sturdy they are quiet light as well. Sound quality is great and they also have Bluetooth so can connect to your phone as well.

Brilliant Headset
This headset has brilliant audio quality and connectivity, it's as easy as connecting a new controller (you can also turn your xbox on with the headset, just like a controller) Bluetooth is included for connecting to your phone to play music and take phone calls. Solid build as well and very comfortable.
