KRK KNS 6400
I have used the KN6400 headphones 3 years in a professional post production studio. These are decent headphones. The build quality is excellent considering the, very low, price. After 3 years of use, they are still in perfect shape. The dynamic and the frequency range are large enough for basic monitoring. I would however not recommend these headphones for critical, precise, monitoring (mixing and mastering). The frequency response is not fl... Show More

Best headhones I've owned
I use these for the home studio recording and they're noticable different to other headphones I've owned in the past. Of course, these are the most expensive headphones I've bought but well worth the investment. And given the huge selection of high end headphones out there, I'd consider these KRKs a great choice, without the huge cost. -These are comfortable - very important for those long day sessions. -They block out external sounds very... Not the best, but not bad.
I find the sound on these to be clear but very light in the bass which is not helpful at all when mixing. They are closed back and do quite a good job stopping sound leaking out, but do not stop loud band sounds from leaking in. They are not really suitable for use in loud recording situations. The pads on the headband bothered me quite a bit- they have softened now, but they used to make the top of my head itchy! I must say that t... Show More

Nice flat response
I am an avid music listener, musician and a budding producer/mix engineer. I lack a set of monitors and have started using these babies as my go-to mix headphones. They seem to have a very flat response with little to no hype. They are comfortable and I can (and do) wear them for hours on end with very little discomfort. The lead provided seems to be quality and has been long enough for me in any studio setting that I have found myself in so far. They're very very good for the money!

your glasses won't be a problem
I bought these headphones after borrowing for a while a pair of Extreme Isolation EX-29 W from my brother. I find the overall quality of the product to be great, with no compromise on sound quality. They're extremely comfortable, even for someone (like me) who wears glasses. I don't like very much the way they fold, as they still occupy too much space and don't fit well in the small black bag provided with the product. But hey, it's the sound that matter, isn't it?

Fab as I thought they would be
Using KRK for the last 8 years, nothing disappointing at all. Just sound great and these phones are the perfect add on to what I use. These are the second pair as my old originals needed updating and they do not disappoint. Their is no colour to these at all and have helped already with my mixes here at La Foret Studio Super and really recommend and the price cant be beaten

KRK lives up to the expectations
I know... KRK is not the biggest brand of headphones out there, but they ARE good non the less. If you need head phones that just works and delivers a well balanced sound, look no further. They fit really good, not too loose, not too snug. You can don them and work / listen for hours on end.

Dry
I got these headphones to do track checkups after live recording sessions, and they are perfect for the job. They are pretty dry and flat. But they are also comfortable so I use them not only the job they were intended for but also to listen to music in free time or watching videos during travel.

True-to-Sound
Very clean and fairly accurate sound reproduction. I use these to monitor recording, and they are comfortable to wear for extended lengths of time. Good deal for the money.
