Setting this up wasn't easy, hub wasn't authenticating via the Google home app for some reason. Had to unplug the hub/ restart android phone and re-install the Google home app. After all of this. Setting up Google Hub was brilliant and easy. Love the photo fame option on the hub, seeing the photos siding.

Fantastic addition to our new kitchen
So so happy with the nest hub, an excellent addition to our new kitchen. Good sound linked to our Spotify, great video & internet browsing for the kids, instant recipes and reminders, it’s just a brilliant little gadget at a great price. Highly recommended!

Great 'Must Have' smart device
Does everything you ask - whether turning on the kettle, streaming YouTube to your TV or on the Hub, setting alarms, timers or reminders. Tells you the latest news, weather and what is on your schedule. Plays catch up TV, answers question, tells jokes, trivia and plays games. I was very pleased with this product as I already own a Google Home mini, which is now in my bedroom - the Google Home Hub is in my living room, so I can watch on its display or have it cast to my Sony Android TV.

Excelant product. I class her as my friend now. Living on my own I can talk to her. Lol so I'm not lonely anymore. She reminds me of appointments... Also my shopping list. Plays great music. Even tells jokes and stories. My NEW FOUND friend.

The google home hub is well good I did use the echo dot but I changed my friend showed me his one then I was hooked sound is much better then the Amazon echo and the echo dot I cant wait for the new one to come out this is a good buy and I'm so happy I did

Great first step towards home automation
Pros: 1. Great screen 2. Easy to setup 3. Super easy to use (voice and touchscreen) 4. First steps towards home automation 5. Google is better than Alexa Cons: 1. No audio ports so you can connect the speaker to a better speaker or bigger screen 2. Does not support a browser 3. Does not support any other video streaming platform other than Youtube

My google hub
A great little device, small and compact and really easy to set up via the app, connected to my home in seconds. I use it to control a lot of my home tech including the heating. Fits neatly into a corner and is not intrusive but it’s loud enough to hear across the room and like wise for it to hear you. Highly recommended for those who like home tech.

A practical device
It does what is expected and is useful. I need to buy some plugs and a security camera to make full use of it but it’s great on its own with a phone, even an iPhone.

Home hub works well pool
Bought as an additional item to my smaller Google speaker the Home hub adds a useful touch screen cc apability and seems to get better as it is used more Easy to set up and use, a good addition to the home

Helpful and easy to use
Bought the Google Home hub and I am very happy with my purchase. It is very responsive and can hear you above surrounding noise, unlike the other hub we had. Google is able to find more and answer more questions because it stays open and listens for supplementary questions. Will definitely be purchasing the bigger 10" version later in the year.

Cool little gadget
Haven’t had this for long but enjoying it so far. Kids like to add things to my shopping list so I don’t forget!! Good for YouTube and Spotify music. Not a bad speaker, but not the best. Doesn’t go very loud.

Google Home with added Home
I have about 6 google home devices in the house in every room basically, and even though voice is great and casting to the tv..... having an alwaysnon screen and seeing results as well is just very comforting The sound is great, screen reacts to your lighting and makes seeing what you are up to a lot easier with calendars etc Highly recommend especially if you have other google homes or even your first one. Easy setup and even easier to operate

Versatile, but...
Lots to recommend it as the other reviews say, BUT be aware that there's a software issue which affects some HomeHubs, meaning you can't always get them to speak British English, only American. Google are aware of this and have been promising to cure the problem for the past six months. It doesn't affect every unit, so you may be lucky, and it's not the end of the world, but it's annoying when your other Google home assistants manage an English accent!

Love our Google Home
Use it in the kitchen mainly for for music and youtube videos. Picks up voice commands even from another room. Would be nice if we could unplug it to move to another room without having to wait a few minutes to start up...so now it stays put in the kitchen. Other than that it looks great and works fine and we love it.

Ease of use better than the Google Home and Home M
Having the display really improves usability. Great for phone numbers, map routes, Google Photos and YouTube. The audio quality is worse than the Mini though. If audio is a priority go for the Nest Hub Max when it is introduced.

Depends on how you use it
As far as quality of sound goes, if you're using this to stream music you may be disappointed. It's pretty average. However the main usage is for Google Assistant, for which this performs exceptionally well. The screen is high quality but content is limited. Perfect for a bedside clock or kitchen assistant though.
