My first encounter with the Google Assistant
A revelation for me. Asking questions - where and how does it get the answers? How did I manage without just asking for the news and getting it. No more having to set a manual alarm. Play the music I want without having to lift a finger. Altogether stunning.

Handy to have in house
Handy gadget for in house paired it with wifi lightbulbs no more fumbling about in dark just say ok google lights on

Music Subscriptions needed?
Initial thoughts were not good when found that you cannot stream music via voice commends that you have uploaded to google play music - only a subscription service can do this. Have subsequently found though that at a playlist can be voice activated that contains your uploaded music. Whist looking for music solution it is also good to know that this is also a cast device and can be cast'ed to for audio and can be part of a speaker group.

love my google home mini.
Great addition to the home. recipes in the kitchen /music in the dining room / games in the lounge. Though think she has the advantage when playing rock /paper scissors! :)

Google home mini
So far so good we have connected it to my wife’s mobile phone meaning that we can use her Spotify account which works fine with quite a nice sound. We have asked various questions sometimes she gets it wrong but that’s because the question is phrased wrongly she also answers questions that no one has asked probably listening to the tv. On the whole we are happy with our purchase.

Looks clean and fits in well with my things.
Very impressed with how useful this is. Use it a lot during the day and it’s small enough that it doesn’t look clunky on my side table. It’s looks very neat and clean with my room theme. The technological side of it is very impressive. Was definitely worth the buy. Very happy with it.

GOOGLE HOME BRILLIANT!
Super pleased with my Google Home, wasn’t sure I exactly needed one but it has completely won me over. Very easy to set up, great sound for such a small unit which takes up little space. Have been listening to my music, radio, conversions of pounds to kilos and percentages all delivered in no time at all. Highly recommended!

it’s mini but it’s mighty smart
Great piece of smart tech , the mini is a perfect addition to the bedroom. It’s about the size of a donut and isn’t obtrusive. So control tv, lights etc or set alarms, play games or ask google anything without reaching for remotes, phones or switches. Makes a lie in much more appealing. Can be switched off if you worry about someone listening in. group with others for music although home does have a better speaker, but ideal for me for an audio book at bedtime or a lazy Sunday morning.

Does what it says
Good little thing with an okay speaker, there's not much else I can say about it but if you're getting into the smart home life it's a good starter to help get into it. I got it when it was on sale but I'd say its still worth the money now too!

Best smart speaker in the price range.
Great little speaker that is stylish and easy to set up and use. Ask a question and get an answer, set an alarm, plan your day, get a shopping list... it goes on and on. If you have any smart home gear then control them with this... add a chromecast and control your TV...

Size doesn't matter
I have both an echo dot and home mini. The volume and sound quality from the mini is 100% better. Also with Google powering the mini the Ai is a long smarter and helpful. Plus you can speak through your phone when on the same WiFi network in case the mini can't pick your voice up reliably
