rookie pilot
this mavic air is my first drone ever. it has a truck load of settings and it seems to rely on experienced pilots on youtube to instruct the public on many functions, although dji does have a few videos n some included literature. I know drones can go for 20k but this isn't that cheap, but it does feel well designed and it handles very steady in the air with wind. there seems to be a glitch in the dji assistant 2 written for Microsoft where it won't recognize n update the controller, but the app seems to be a way around that. I'm enjoying this so far. oh, and this store is great.

Loved it for 8 days
The fan has already failed and B&H doesn't actually back these up. They make you go to Gradus Group, their vendor. That means I waited for four days from a response from B&H, finally got them on live chat, just for them to tell me to contact someone else. Just buy your drone someone else directly.

An amazing piece of kit
My first drone, be prepared for a bit of a learning curve. The drone is amazing and easy to fly - and it's so tiny! The parts included in the combo offer a great value, you'll need those three batteries and the charging hub comes in handy. I bought the drone mostly for still photography and it is proving to handle that very well considering the price. My only gripe is with the spherical panos, they are stitched together pretty well but are useless since they lack the necessary metadata to be recognized as 360s by google photos and fb.

Absolutely Amazing
Excellent video quality, but stills are no where near the Phantom 4 Pro. This drone is fast, handles wind, and is very smooth with the gimbal. I don't like the type C ports, I wish it was standard USB. It comes with a tiny adapter to do updates that you can loose, I can find no replacement for purchase. Never the less, this is nothing short of a technological masterpiece!

The perfect drone!
The Mavic Air is awesome drone, so small and in the same time there is so much technology inside. The flight time is around 20 min. The drone is a little bit noisy, but still acceptable. The video quality is outstanding! The is my 3rd drone I own, and the previous 2 cannot even get closer to the quality of the Mavic Air. I like that not only the drone, but also the remote is foldable, so you can have both the drone and the remote even in your pocket.

Have been waiting for a drone like this for years!
Love this thing. Its so portable you can literally take it anywhere. I originally had a Phantom 3 Professional. It was great. The only downfall or negative was how big it was and an inconvenience it was to bring anywhere. With the Mavic Air, its compact size resolves all of that. The battery length is good. The camera quality is comparable to what I had before. Shooting 4K is all I wanted. Flip this thing into sport mode and youll be impressed how fast it is.

A little beast of a drone
I have really enjoyed using this drone. The build quality, safety features, image quality make this a must own for hobbyist& professionals alike. I'vecrashed it twice (both times completely my fault) and with a simple propeller change it was up and flying again in no time. If I lost this one, I would buy a new one the next day. That's how much I love this little guy.

Too much fun!
What an amazing piece of technology! I have always talked about getting on but never thought i would. I saw videos about the Mavic Air and decided it was time. It is very easy to fly. I have only stayed in a small area so far learning to control it without having to think about what the controls do. Again Awesome technology. Easy and fun to fly. Also had fast service from B&H.

This little guy is great!
This is one impressive aircraft. I have been using a Phantom 3 4k since it was released and I have always been pleased with its results. Then I purchased this drone for the sake of portability (which it succeeds at in spades!) and it surprised me in every other feature as well. Great drone for the price
In 3 years since I bought my Inspire 1 drones have come a long way. This Mavic Air is especially impressive. It's very nice to fly and the images are not too bad either. For really smooth filming it's best to dial down the gimbal speed and adjust the gains a bit as these are a bit harsh out of the box. Fits in your hand - I can have it with me and ready anytime
Sold my phantom 3 advanced, that was wonderful, to get this. I like having a much smaller drone and case so I can take it with me more often. It sounds louder (like an angry bee) but it flies very stable. I just don't tell the wife how much it costs

The best camera is...

Great tool for automated video capturing
I purchased this drone for two reasons - inspecting my house after inclement weather and to film me doing some sports activities - like cycling or alpine skiing. It is absolutely phenomenal device in terms of video shooting quality. Very stable (helps to 3-axis gimbal) and easy to use. As minor downside I only mention 20-minute flight time per battery. E.g. you need to have more than one charged battery per adventure.

Excellent capability in a small package!
For such a tiny package this thing delivers the goods! The camera is great. Not Phantom 4 pro great (that camera is amazing), but excellent considering the size and portability.
