worth every penny!
If you decide to get a phantom then you need this! not only will it help give you height, direction, BATTERY LEVEL and most of important it will show you where home is! the only down side is you have to solder this to your phantom unless you purchase a cable from mini-transmitter this will also allow you to connect a fpv system as well rather than having to solder your cables.

Kind of okay
It works, but it took a while to figure that you need to do a firmware update, and that you can only do that with a PC, but not using windows 8. You need xp or win7... There is no documentation stating that. Let's be clear here DJI as support goes SUCKS big time.

Great Flight Navigation instrument
Navigate the DJI Phantom 2 quadcopter. Excellent OSD for Phantom 2 flight navigation. Real time info. Would like to be able to mount this to the DJI Phantom 2 without having to splice wires and soldering wires from Phantom 2 to iOSD mini.

A great and a must accessory to have
I use this on the Phantom 2 that I have just purchased from B&H. It works as advertised. It is easy to setup on Phantom 2. with a DJI data link (transmitter and receiver set) you can see real time flight information. However, in order to make this to work on Phantom 2, you will need to upgrade the firmware (on the iOSD Mini) which is very easy to do. Great OSD for the money
This does the basics, more or less. After buying the PMU V2 for the Phantom or if you happen to have a Flight Controller better than the Naza you may luck out and already have a spare CANBUS port but if you have the Naza you will probably need to upgrade to the PMU V2 as well. Very Cool
I put this in a DJI Phantom and I love the on screen display. I have flown around and when I couldn't see the Phantom I turned it around the course pointer showed exactly where I was. Easy to fly back home with this thing. Also having battery voltage gives me piece of mind.
