Small TVs bought for guest bedrooms
Bought for bedroom use. Inexpensive, and they work, and have a sleep timer, all that I needed. Only complaint is that they came with some unnecessary multi-coloured leads on a jack, presumably for connecting to a laptop or something, but no aerial cable for picking up a normal signal. Had to buy these specially.

Good value
Nice TV but sound is poor and required separate speaker system. Remote layout is ok but not easy to navigate at night as this TV is in bedroom is in low light and poor eyesight. Worst thing is the program guide is too small to see, an adjustable size font would be useful especially for those with poor eyesight.

light and easy to connect
Great little t.v for the spare bedroom for when guests come to stay. Really cheap too. Thanks Argos. I find it so easy to order on line and then pick up items from Argos same day or next day. I do this quite often as I can think of something I need, go on line to check stock, order, then pick up. So easy.

Ideal small tv.
The sound on this TV is a bit tinny but as it was purchased for use in the kitchen only it's ok as it doesn't have to be a superior product. For the price it's very good. Cannot comment on the life of the TV as it was only purchased two weeks ago but so far, so good. Setup was easy and instruction book good.

rubbish
first one I got blue up I was watching it in bed it made such a bang and screeching noise and was completely none useable when I returned it your member of staff refuse to plug it in to test in case it blew a fuse in the building I got a replacement I am still try to get a decent picture again I repete rubbish

This tv was for a kitchen
My mother wanted this tv for her kitchen.It sounds a bit tinny but is ok for her to listen to when getting her tea. That was her reason for purchase. Would not want to sit and watch it all evening as she is used to a larger screen in her living room.She said she is happy with it for the purpose it was bought.

Reasonable quality for the price
You need to be right in front of this TV to get a decent picture, a few degrees either side and the change is quite noticeable. We have this TV in the kitchen so this not such an issue. The sound is not great, but a half decent sound bar would cost more than the TV. But for the price, I'm reasonably happy.

Excellent picture
I found the set easy to set up, but find the programme timer not easy to set to record as the writing is small this also applies applies to the EPG. It records fine to a USB stick, but will not record to a VCR, but will play back a prerecorded tape perfectly. On the whole an excellent set for a small room

Love it
I've been meaning to get a new TV for years, especially since playing skyrim earlier this year. The picture is just amazing, the sound quality is alot better and I can actually see the whole picture and read what's on the corners, as most of what I watch or play is wide screen and this TV is good for that.

great little set
bought to use on our boat and watch world cup. Plug and play,up and running in a few minutes, but we are in a very good reception area. picture occasionally goes negative like on dark parts of a movie.but my laptop does the same on I player so ,maybe a station thing, BBC. not HD., no probs other channels.

Really pleased
Super little TV for the money. Easy to set up and connect. My mum was happily watching her favourite programmes in less than 15 minutes and that includes tuning. I’d recommend particularly as a 2nd or bedroom set where you just need the basics but need a decent picture and sound and is easy to use.

The Alba TV has a comprehensive specification
The TV was purchased with 2 other items, an adjustable wall fitting which was well made and substantial and more than able to cope with my demands. The amplified portable aerial was probably too sensitive, I live very close to both the BBC and ITV transmitters and returned it as unsuitable for my needs.

Great value TV
Bought for use in the kitchen and it serves the purpose very well. Sound quality not great but no complaints at that price. Set up was a doddle - took no more ten minutes. Would have been less If I had read the on screen instructions properly! Excellent delivery service as well. Thoroughly recommend

Ideal tv for kitchen
The picture quality is average and it sounds better if the surround sound is off. The tv stays on standby unless you physically turn it off from the mains which I do as I do not like leaving appliances on stand by. Overall it suits my needs as something to watch when doing the dinner/washing up etc.

small tv
This is excellent for a specific purpose. obviously not your main tv, but for me in my conservatory, it is just right for occasional use. The picture is good and the sound is adequate, although I use a small external speaker to improve the sound. For the price this tv is excellent value for money.

Ideal For Kitchen or Bedroom
For a lower priced TV I was pleasantly surprised at the picture quality,the TV is nicely styled too,the sound quality is not stunning but most flatscreens struggle with sound due to the sheer physical dimensions of the chassis.All in all a very good TV suitable for kitchen,bedroom or spare room.5/5

It is so light !
The product is great value! It's as good as the "big telly" in the lounge! It weighs so little I thought the box it came in was empty! Great product! Tuned in quickly! Found many channels! My wife can now do the ironing and watch the telly! Think I'll get her to take in washing to pay for it!!!!

Great product for the price. Does all I need
If, as I, you want just a TV to watch in a limited space its great. It has more connections than I need, or want. Having spent my life living simply I not have a great knowedge of modern technology but this product was great. Plug in, connect aerial, follow on screen instructions. Your there.

Great little TV
I brought one back in September for my daughters room.. Great little TV for the money. Great picture, great sound. So when It came to my sons birthday I got him one too. Now two happy children with their tvs. And mummy and daddy can watch their programme downstairs. Peace all round.

Sound Absolutely Awful
Bought this television for the bedroom, as only wanted a small one.Arrived on time and thought it was exactly what I wanted until I tuned it in. The sound was very tinny, and would have driven me around the bend, so opted for a refund. Such a shame, as the television was otherwise fine.

Sound
I regret buying this TV for use in my kitchen. The sound quality is awful, just tinny, no depth of sound. So I went to the expense of buying a Bush soundbar model B_3363A, and so far have been unable to find a way to connect the 2 Bush products. A joke, no optical in connection on TV.

2nd TV
Some of the earlier reviews for this TV don't do it justice, whilst the sound quality isn't "stereo / surround sound", it's a great little TV, fits burly in my kitchen without taking up too much worktop space. Great value for money in my opinion and would definitely recommend to others.

My TV smells
Although happy to find a 19” TV these days I’m a bit disappointed that such cheap plastic has been used for the casing. Initial thought was that it was overheating and I actually returned one set because of the smell. However when I opened the replacement it smelled just the same.

Low cost but rubbish
We wanted an inexpensive TV for our kitchen. However the sound was tinny and the picture distorted unless sitting squarely in front of it. As we usually move around or sit separate from each other this meant one or other of us got a bad picture so we returned it as not fit for use.
