Great Headphones
I didn't bought this headphones for my self. I bougth them for my wife. She already had earbuds but was not satisfide with them. Now she love using this headphones. She is a music teacher and music composer as well.

One up from Bose 15 QC
I've had my QC15 headphones for almost 5 years and when my wife wanted to upgrade from her previous (not Bose) pair, I had no hesitation in recommending the QC25. I prefer the dark colour to my silver and they pack away into a slightly smaller case - which actually has a slot for the spare battery - thoughtful. The price was good and there was one in stock in my Inverness branch.

Wonderful, but ......
Received them as a holiday present. Used them on a 7 hour flight. Great noise cancelling. Sound quality excellent. A little bulky. Would have bought the Bluetooth version if it had come with a replaceable battery.

Consider your noise canceled
Bought these just in time to use them for my flight from SFO to CDG. They did a great job blocking the drone of the plane's engines. The provided battery lasted through both the flight there and back.

Build quality holds a potentially very good product back.
While these headphones provide excellent isolation, and provide acceptable fidelity, the build quality is poor. The small phone jack, which plugs into the headphones, is particularly troublesome. Many times only one side of the headphones would operate, pushing on the jack can make sound come from both sides, but may also result in a mono sound as well. Once the jack is inserted just so, the headphones perform well, however, any inadvertent tugging on the line will cause the loss of sound to one of the headphone sides. I expected much more from these headphones. I would not buy them again.

Comfortable and Smooth Sound
I love how comfortable these headphones are, and the sound is very clear and crisp. I have been eyeing Bose QuietComfort headphones ever since I saw my boyfriend's about 8 years ago. His have lasted over 10 years so I expect these to do the same and find them to be well worth the price! I also love that in this version you can use them without the noise canceling for regular use. I find just the over the ear style blocks a lot of the noise, but the noise cancelling works seamlessly. Can't wait to use it on my 15 hour flight coming up next week!

first time with Bose
these are 1st class headphones , I note that people moan about them not having rechargeable batteries built in, well I say to them buy rechargeable ones then! the wireless ones are ok but you cant replace the batteries in them, these headphones do cut out people chatting and the football on TV etc , and all other extraneous noises so I can listen to the pure music and not extraneous noises 20 out of 10 for sound quality and build and comfort

Peace and Quiet
I used the Bose QuietComfort 25 headphones both with and without music streaming on 11 hour flight to Hawaii. I arrived so much more relaxed without having to listen to the drone of airplane engines for all that time. I have also used them for on line training so as not to disturb others in the house. Once again, the solitude enabled me to concentrate more on my work. Great purchase.

These are the best headphones I've ever owned!
Let me start this review by saying, I would never spend $300 on a pair of headphones. I don't care how good the review was. But then, a friend of mine let me try on a pair - and holy cow, I was beyond impressed. There is nothing, not to love about these pair of headphones. The sound reproduction is amazing. Great noise cancelling headphones
I bought these primarily for air travel, and the effectiveness of the active noise cancellation is remarkable, and the sound quality very good (if not quite equal to the best). The case for them is a nice touch, and they're comfortable to wear for extended periods. They may be somewhat overpriced (which is why I've given them 4 stars instead of 5), but they're very good for their intended use.

Great Value headphones
Quite:lower frequency's knocked out ,everything else gets fairly reduced.Comfort:light weight ,soft ear pads,great material's.Sound:With noise cancelling mode on,sound is louder and over all better equalized.Sound with noise cancelling mode off ,volume is lower and mids seem flat.Though I have tested this mode with a quality headphone amp and that more than fixed up the sound.With the amp the mids were rich and all there and over all sound was perfect!!!

New, but Excellent!
While I have not had the chance to use them on an airplane yet, I have used them while using a riding lawnmower, and while I can slightly hear the mower and tractor, the sound is Significantly Reduced! I had to wear ear protection before and I have found these headphones to be even better sound protection (and I get to listen to my music - a great bonus). I will be flying to Ireland in another month, and I'll update the review then, but for now - NOTHING BETTER!

Buy one for entertainment and an extra for yard work
I have always enjoyed the sound quality o this unit on airline flights, sitting on the couch etc, but this time I bought one just for use on tractor and other power equipment. The noise cancellation is so effective while mowing, the stress is greatly reduced! Time flies by while listening to your favorite music. I think the extra set is great because I sweat so much on these humid days, I keep the other one clean for inside activities. The noise cancellation if fabulous!

Works great with the Samsung Galaxy S7
Does a great job blocking out noise. With any headphones it does not block everything but does provide greater peace and quiet with them. Plus the built in controls with the headphones work seamlessly with my Samsung Galaxy S7.

Sound quality is not as expected
I've used over 10 headphones before and some are over $300. Though this one is not the most expensive one I've used, but it's really expensive based on its sound quality. I would pay only $100 for the SQ so don't expect too much on it as it's not for high-fi purpose. Noise cancelling is satisfying though which is the most worthy use.

Bose Headphones - As good as advertised
I replaced an older pair of Bose headphones after 12 years of use - the padding disinegrated. The new pair is hinged which at first I thought would be a problem. However the smaller case is more optimal for travel and putting in my backpack. The sound is phenomenal & the noise cancellation is great on planes. I would highly recommend if you can afford the premium.

its fantastic if thats what ure looking for
I purchased this one because i know aboutamazing bose noise cancelling. But then i realized i wanted the wireless one. Do when i refurned them and got the wireless, i realized they were not noise cancelling. So..... I had to return them again. Now i found out bose is just about to rellease the quietcomfort 30 that its meant to have both caracteristics.

Great initially but shows bad build quality
Great initially, I enjoyed the sound quality, but after a couple of months the ear cushions have started to tear and become detached from the speakers. I've had to do some home repairs and I'm very dissapointed in an expensive and what I presumed to be quality product. Not sure how long these will last but I won't be replacing them with another Bose product after this.

Perfectly Comfortable
Very light, easy to travel with. Sound is very good with noise cancelling on. Becomes a little too flat with it turned off. Also not exceptionally loud which is probably a good thing!

Bose QuietComfort 25 headphones are superior
Fourth kind of noise cancelling headphones I have owned. Bose has really superior noise cancelling technology compared to all others I have heard. Wearing comfort is also superior. After several hours of wearing, I didn't have any feeling of pressure from these headphones, unlike others. Sound quality is very good with highs and midrange separation very nice. Base is not overpowering for those who need to have their head pounded. I don't. Pricy???? You get what you paid for!!
