Very nice, even picture. Conveniently includes DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort cables. On screen menu is easy to use. VESA mounting is a plus. PLS monitors don't have quite the same viewing angles of an IPS monitor, but this is still light years ahead of any TN panel out there.

Great Display for HD Video
I use this display to edit 6k RED Dragon footage with Adobe Premiere Pro. The refresh rate/quality is great for editing.

Amazing Monitor
This nice, hefty 27 monitor is exactly what I had been looking for. I'm a photographer, and I needed this monitor for photo editing, which requires good color accuracy. Well, the color accuracy on here is outstanding and so is the resolution. It shipped very quickly, especially for being shipped from east to west coast. Set up is simple, and the stand seems pretty sturdy. All in all, this is a wonderful monitor. I would suggest it to anyone needing it for graphics/multimedia purposes, who also don't want to break the bank.

Really nice hi-res monitor!
Monitor is perfect--bright, sharp, no dead pixels, even lighting, no bleeding through of backlight. Looks good too with the all-black bezel. Only problem I had was that I connect it via HDMI, and the HDMI cable that came with the monitor was bad, caused moving red horizontal lines on the screen. And ASUS tech support is non-existent: Tried to reach them numerous times for over 2 weeks via both web chat and phone, never got any response at all, no one ever picked up the phone, voice mailbox was always full. Fortunately, the great folks at B&H resolved the problem for me, and all is now fine.

ASUS PB278Q Monitor is great!
I am an amatuer photographer who had been using a 5 year old big name 20 TN display and calibrating it with a color calibration tool. I was not satisfied with the colors I saw on the screen and the differences between screen and prints versions. So, I bought the ASUS. Wow. Not only does it show colors better, but the increase in resolution is fantastic. Now, I turn my laptop screen off; I can put two documents on one screen and take off my reading glasses. Amazing!

Great Color Quality and Resolution
Purchased this monitor for color correcting and multimedia editing. So far I have no complaints, the color and quality is amazing. As soon as I plugged it in I could see the difference in comparison to my other 24 LED's

As a professional photographer I am very pleased with the quality of this display. In-plane Switching (IPS) is a must feature for processing images. The high density pixel count is definitely a huge positive (109 pixels/inch). At 27 inches it is a very good and comfortable size to work with. This ASUS display is excellent!

I was considering purchasing one larger flat screen (40+) for studio video monitor to replace 2 smaller ones, but was encouraged by a friend to check this one. excellent recommendation - resolution is wonderful and clarity is fascinating. I would purchase another if given the chance.B&H service is exceptional - sales associate I spoke with was knowledgable, congenial and not pushy at all. Bought this monitor last month. I moved up from a 22 Acer monitor and this monitor is a huge upgrade for me. On my old Acer monitor the controls were located on the bottom of the monitor in the center so these controls being on the bottom right of the monitor proves to be convenient. Excellent 27 monitor
Excellent monitor with great features. But unfortunately, i can only give 4 stars because the speakers are REALLY terrible.The rest all works very very nicely. I have this monitor hooked up through my mac using display port and my windows computer using Dual link DVI. All works very very well.Please note that the Display Port cable provided in the box is NOT going to work to hook it up to your macbook pro because it isn't a mini display port cable. I had to buy a mini DP to DP and it works just fine.I am very happy with the monitor. Great great value.

Amazing For The Price
For approx $ you aren't going to get a 10 bit color correction monitor, but man are these babies good. I deal with color correction for a living, and if someone said these were the only monitors I could use, I would be totally fine with that. Full Resolution
I really like this monitor. I am getting full 2560 x 1440 resolution with the supplied DVI cable and an Nvidia GeForce GT440 video card on my Win 7 machine. Another reviewer indicated less than full resolution so I wanted to post my experience. Using HDMI I do not get full resolution. Compared to my last monitor this one has a lot less glare. I no longer have to reposition it in the afternoon with the sun at my back.

Took Longer To Unpack Than To Set-Up
I purchased this as a second monitor for a 2012 build Mac Pro. It came with cables for every form of attachment. I used DVI to obtain the max resolution off of the Mac. I plugged it in, configured the ASUS as the primary monitor and relegated the Apple Cinema Display to the secondary monitor. No issues what-so-ever in setting it up. Beautiful display.

Great display
Great display, easy to set-up and no warm-up delay. I use this with my Macbook Air. I like the adjustable stand. Areas for improvement: better preference menu, highest resolution requires purchasing a separate Mini Displayport to Displayport cable.

Best WQHD Monitor for the price
Great monitor, once you've calibrated it. Coming from a 24 HD 16x10 monitor without PWM - I was looking for a monitor that allowed more space to open windows and multi-task. The higher resolution is wonderful, allowing me to see an entire webpage while leaving a usable window for photoshop/Excel doc/Word doc running next to it. Excellent Monitor
Monitor is used for Desktop Publishing and Flight Simulation. The first monitor I received had some issues with stuck pixels and small cosmetic blemishes on frame. B&H sent a replacement monitor upon requesting an RMA with quick dispatch. The new product is perfect and the B&H customer service exceptional.

Great, but a couple dead pixels
I would give this a solid 5 star rating but I was unfortunate to receive a unit that has 2 dead pixels/areas. Any time the screen is black due to a black background, it is painfully obvious that there are 2 issues since you can see the glaring 2 red dots on the screen. Other backgrounds it is not as noticeable but I was expecting perfection...to much to ask for? I suppose.

Great monitor
I like this monitor. The color is great. I like the screen that is not reflect the light. This is very useful for me since i put it close to window and the sunlight is not bother me anymore. I also like to shop in B&H because it doesn't charge me tax when I order from web. Great!

Great value, some trade-offs
Good alternative to the Apple Display. Big, bright and accurate color once calibrated. The extra resolution is really great, having been used to 1920x1080 cinema displays for years. The monitor has many connections, but only the displayport will give you the highest rez (2650x1440). All others (dvi, hdmi, etc) will only give you 1920x1080 max, at least on my 2013 MacPro. Great monitor at a great price
I'm using this with my MacBook Pro for video editing with Final Cut Pro X. What a difference! Having the extra real estate on the screen making editing so much faster and efficient. The quality is outstanding. I was on a budget and couldn't afford more expensive monitors but I have zero regrets buying this. A great monitor at a great price.
