Better than the last a50 (gen2)
No echoing from voice chat that the gen 2 had, better sou d quality as of the configuration in the program that needs to be download on a pc or mac to configure them. Its not necessary bit to get the full benefits of them it would be reccomended. I bought the sound upgrade pack from astro that is more external noise deadening and with the setting in astro command centre for it make it worth the extra upgrade.

Love it
I brought it for my son as he need something that's he can control from xbox as he's can't get his hands to his head by himself due to be wheelchair bound and having DMD

Comfortable and easy setup
This headset is much more comfortable than other brands however it comes with an expensive price tag. Sound quality is amazing and again really comfortable even after hours of wearing. The docking station I found to be really handy although some time difficult to align the headset to charge but it can be cable charged if preferred. It can also be used with a pc and you can connect to a pc and there are some advanced volume levelling options you can change. Best headset i have owned.

Great headset but it better be for the price, works great on my Xbox or pc battery lasts about 12 hours for me

You won’t need another gaming headphone
Big spacious sound is the first thing you notice when using these. They simulate 7.1 surround and to an extent are very good. The bass is not over powering but still has a good kick. Very nice listening to music on these with 7.1. My gaming has improved considerably. Very easy to use, jez pick them up from the dock and they are connected. Placing them on the dock is a bit fiddly. Lots of options to customise the sound using EQ and mic sound. I highly recommend these and the price is fair.

Astro A50 wireless headset
This is by far the best headset available at the minute! The surround sound is brilliant. Mic is brilliant. Well worth every penny. Everyone needs this for their PC or xbox!!

Best headset I've had
Easy to set up. Amazing sound quality, extremely comfy, good battery life (they also have a self stand by to save battery when you take them off for a toilet brake etc). Charging them is a breeze too. All in all the head set is awesome. It looks as good as they sound too.

I have several sets of astro a40's and sennheiser.gaming headsets for my pc but my only wireless set is sennheiser.rs 170 which are great for tv but no microphone. The a50's work great 99% of the time,micrphone sound is decent an sound quality tho subjective for me is fine. My only real negative's is the charging stand it can be quite fiddly to actually get it to charge. Also occassionally they dont start when i pick them up even tho i have sound playing but its easily resolved.

Excellent but expensive
A high quality product in all ways. The sound is excellent and makes gameplay very immersive. They are expensive but if you have the cash they are worth the money.

Sounds great but charges awful
Amazing design Very comfy, can wear for numerous hours with no issues or sweat. As a avid gamer I expect a consistent headset though, and this isn’t the one unfortunately. The reason why is because the battery life really fails to live up to expectations. I read online reviews and said tomyself maybe it’s just faulty headsets, but having bought one myself, it didn’t live up to expectation. Maybe 4 hours with fully charged (4 bars)

Awesome headset
Got this headset 2 weeks ago and I have to say I love it when u play pubg you and hear every movement. Headset is a little pricey but if u play your Xbox a lot it's worth the money and they will last year's.

Excellent
Superb deep explosive sound on Xbox one. Needs noise cancelling earpads as sound leaks out quite badly. Easy setup and customisable via windows 10 pc. Noise cancelling earpads are hard to find . Microphone is good and cuts off when in up position Connected via tv optical out so can use for watching films etc. Battery not interchangeable but I keep heDphones on the base station when not in use to keep battery topped up.

Best headset I’ve owned
The Astro A50 3rd Gen are a massive improvement over the previous generations of the A50 headset due to its full wireless compatibility. No more need for the chat cable. The sound quality is superb as is the Dolby 7.1 surround. The mic on the headset is also and improvement over the previous versions and is much better to use. Pros - great sound quality, fully wireless Cons - a little pricy for a headset

Great headset!
Fantastic pair of gaming headphones. Quite expensive but if you only have one pair for years then it's worth it. I can hear things I never could before, and being able to hear my own voice clearly has stopped me shouting at my screen. Would highly recommend.

An amazing headset
My first headset and 100% happy with purchase. Handy enough to navigate and if you look on youtube others offer different settings for different styled games and even watching movies if the default settings arent your thing. Easy to set up and boom youre on your way

Sound amazing but are not that comfortable
Really happy with the sound and they look amazing. But the foam on the ear cups gets uncomfortable after a while and they only just fit around my ears.

Amazing sound and quality
I um'd and er'd over buying these due to the price, however I will never look back now. Gaming in 7.1 surround sound is great, the quality of the sound is superb. Set up is easy and then you can explore all the extras that these have in modifying your setup. They are very comfy and after hours of gaming you do not notice them. Not being connected by a cable is just the icing on the cake. True 5 star product

Excellent
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a pair of headphones but after extensive research decided to take the plunge and i have so far not been disappointed. Excellent build quality on the headphones and the base. Easy to connect to both XBOX and PC and the sound quality is amazing, it is so immersive. It changes the way you play games, bought specifically for PUBG and has heightened the tension no end. Wireless connectivity has been flawless and is definitely worth paying extra for.
