Does NOT support target display anymore
Be aware, apple removed target display feature from mid 2017 model. I originally planed to use this beautiful Mac as a display for my office laptop. Unfortunately, Apple removed this feature. The worse thing is B&H does not accept return on any opened computer. The worst is price dropped by $150 three days after my purchase.

Great improvement of Mac Mini
Purchased for my wife to upgrade Mac Mini. Very fast, quick to open applications. and download web content. Quick set up and transfer from old Mac. Wireless keyboard and mouse comfortable and easy to use. Memory is added by opening the door on the rear of the display to reach the slots. Using WiFi for web, no need to use my ethernet as it is very fast.

Apple 27" iMac with Retina 5K Display
First time using MAC product in 10 years. Spent two days loading software, updating browsers, etc. 3rd day screen started flickering black and then finally all black. Performed hard reset (per youtube) worked for couple hours then faded to black again. B&H would gladly RMA but system out of stock 7-10 days. Pushing for refund was only option. This was an unfortunate experience b/c I need a system NOW to output my work.

I love this machine, editing in LR andPS are a joy.Added ram myself,B&h saved me money, packed and shipped top shelf. If you thought about it, you won't be disappointed.

Great for Digital Photography
I have been using my 2012 MacBook Pro together with an older 20" Cinema Display. I decided to upgrade and hopefully this can last over 5 years. I got the 1 tb SSD memory and also upgraded the RAM with the 32 GB Crucial package. It's orobably overkill for editing my raw images but I love the awesome display and lightning fast operation. I'm happy and hopefully will stay that way for a long time!

It's like looking at reality.
when playing my games the 27" display immerses me into the environment of the game. The size allows the various menus and game status to display without intruding into the action at the center of the screen. It also provides the area to open many windows and keeping them open enough to easily reference all of the information without compromise. Over all well worth the cost.

The IMac works as expected. Does what it advertises it does. Resolution quite enhanced, seems easier on the eyes. Recommend for IMac lovers. It was a pleasure to deal with B & H Photo. Nice Upgrade
Upgraded my 5 year old 21" iMac for this one. Works as expected, but much faster and with better screen technology. I like how you can upgrade the RAM on these so it provides future flexibility. B&H was great, as usual.

Much easier to use than Windows 10 on a Dell
My first iMac! It's easier to use than the Dell Win 10 systems I recently bought. Win 10 is not user friendly, it throws random commercials at you, it fights with other programs, the child restrictions are inferior to Apple's, and it doesn't have a 5K screen. Too much drama with windows 10 just to run a word process and access the internet. The iMac was able to connect to both my older cannon printers without issue.

Wonderful Machine
This computer replaced an aging early 2009 and mid 2010 iMacs that had reached the end of their life cycle. The Retina 5K was equipped with an I7 processor, 1TB SSD and 8GB of memory. As always it was easy to setup and migrating data was a breeze. Performance wise the iMac is amazing. I loved the fact that I could get free shipping and no sales tax on it. I upgraded the stats quite a bit, and they didn't have what I wanted in stock, but it came a lot sooner than I thought. the 7-14 days they claim is true. The computer itself is awesome. Super big screen, super fast, lots of memory. I love it! can't go wrong with it! and I love that there is a RAM port in the back so users can upgrade it on their own.

It's a machine...not too many flaws
YES, you do pay the Apple tax, and I came here from being a PC builder. Of course you can't choose your high end components and piece them together in a cheap solution. But - GET THE SSD version. GET the i7, or else, you're overpaying for an i5 machine that's just going to be slower. I've learned, if you're a working creative and you're using Apple, don't skimp. Only a few adjustments from my PC skills and I am really enjoying 5k screen when I process my photographs. I hope the results hold up when I print them now. Apple makes me feel more like a member of a club than a customer.

A good deal before the tariff hike
Coming off a 2011 21" iMac, I knew what to expect. I primarily got the 27" screen this time for the ability to add RAM myself with the rear access door. I did that on my old one, but the new, slimmer 21.5" models have soldered in memory, so that's not even an option anymore. The larger screen takes some getting used to, but I'll manage. Great value for 1 year old machine
Purchased this to replace aging Mac-Mini and taking advantage of the sale and timing when new Mac's should be coming out soon from Apple. I got the one with the lowest memory configuration and purchased additional memory modules at the same time from B&H to save even more. It runs everything I need including games very smoothly. No complaints and should last for many years to come.

Great computer, outstanding service
B&H came through for me when Fedex screwed up the original delivery. They took the initiative to contact me about the problem first, before I had a chance to call them, and resolved it with an overnight delivery of a new order at no charge. Plus there was discount to reflect a recent price cut. This is the second 27" IMac purchased from B&H, along with peripherals. They have a happy customer.
