Love my MacBook Pro 2018
I upgraded from a 2011 MacBook Pro and am overall very pleased with the new laptop. It's about a pound lighter, much faster, battery lasts most of the day, and has all the qualities that make me love Apple products. Since there is only one type of port, I had to buy a converter that plugs into the side ports so that I can plug in my external monitor and USB-A cables for about $100. Overall I'm very happy and would recommend this computer.

Another great product from Apple.
Great upgrade to my 2011 13" Macbook pro. It does what I need it to do, streaming videos and web browsing. I don't edit or create home videos anymore. Touch ID made it convenient to login. Moving all my stuff from the old to new computer was easy. Log in to both computers connected to the same wifi and open the transfer utility. Speakers are louder which was a big deal for me. Upgrade from Mid-2012
The new 2018 MBP is amazingly fast, sleek and ultra light. I bought a usb-c hub that has ports to connect my usb external hard drive, usb printer and an HDMI port for an external monitor so no problems connecting old devices to this new MBP. The touchbar is great as it adapts to whatever program I am running. The keyboard is a massive improvement from the Mid-2012 version i previously had. The touch pad is unnecessarily huge and jumps a bit so i had to play around with the track settings before getting it right. No real problems there either. Very pleased with it overall.

Good price with high qualify
I think I can't get such a good product with a lower price anywhere else. There is a bit drawback is that it sells so well that I have to wait a few days.

Mac Book Pro 15 6 core i7 32 GB RAm
Has not shown dramatic performance improvement in multi-tasked work I do and video editing compared to my 2016 Mac mini i7 16 GB ram

Best Laptop Ever
Excellent laptop! I had the 2015 MBP version and this one is the best. Battery lasts almost 8 hours and applications run very fast. Best investment ever!

Happy with my purchase!
I upgraded from a 15 inch 2014 MacBook Pro. I like the current generation's design and space gray color. Love the large trackpad, and the sound quality is great! So good to be back

Not working
I got the computer and it doesn't work. Apple should improve their quality control. Apple store won't exchange for me although they can repair it. Have to contact B&H to exchange. Hopefully it will work.

Functional improvements they are not....
I do not like the new "butterfly" keys -- I appreciate a more substantial resistance to my keystrokes. I find the touch pad overly sensitive -- sometimes i swear it's registering the heat or the EMF radiating from my fingertips, rather than the actual pressure of my fingertip, such that, for example, I am frequently inadvertently right-clicking while hovering over the touchpad. Nice machine. Touch bar is a gimmick
I upgraded to this 2018 15" model after breaking the display on my old 2012 13" MacBook prod. As expected, this new model is bigger and faster. The display is beautiful. Photoshop runs much faster, which I much appreciate as I process a LOT of photos. The touch bar is pretty much a marketing gimmick. Definitely not a reason alone to buy this machine. Amazing machine
This is just an incredible laptop. Switching from my old 2013 retina MacBook Pro, I can safely say that this one is a big improvement on every aspect. Good for Mobile Development.
I upgraded from a Late 2013 15" Macbook Pro, the cpu on this is roughly about twice as fast (multicore performance). This was strictly a business purchase for me: I develop mobile games for iOS and android. The six cores go a long way when it comes to compiling, essentially cutting my compile times by at least half from the 2013 model. Innovation is gone
For all the latest tech hardware install on this machine, it seems like common sense is not one of them. You will be suprised to find out that Startup/Shutdown times on average is 40sec. 40sec up and 40sec down. My MacBook Pro 2018 for somereason takes about 1:40 on startup and about 40 sec to shutdown. No big deal.
I replaced a 2011 MacBook Pro that needed a new motherboard. This Mac is slimmer and lighter, but there is no CD/DVD player and we now need to use different ports with no real benefits--only the need for new adaptors. The computer works well, but despite the 7 years that have lapsed since my last model, there are only moderate improvements. I have not had a chance to try all the features, but I am only moderately satisfied with the new computer.

great company, spent thousands here often
Love everything from the price to customer service and speedy delivery, only negative: expensive products like the Macbook Pro or IpadPro must be signed for in person upon delivery, so I had to delay shipping a day and reroute through fedex to a store to sign for the item since delivery times are sporatic. I wish they would give me the option at check out to deliver to the closest store or allow me to select pick up from Fedex office etc... but it was still a great experience.
