PROS & CONS
Pros: Awesome display / Good graphic card / Fast SSD/ beautiful design. Cons: Overpriced for a 256GB machine (is that storage really pro?) / I really miss the SDCard reader. Buying adapters for everything Its more than annoying/ I miss the charging led and the legs of the wall charger.

Great machine
I was able to upgrade to this mid 2018 MBP for a great price and I couldn't be happier with it so far. I'm sure the newest model that replaced this is amazing but this unit is also great and at a fraction of the price. B&H had the best pricing out there on this new in box unit.

Awesome Computer
As a professional photographer and a graduate student studying Instructional Technology I needed a laptop that can handle anything. I actual need to run Windows for some programs and this computer allows me to do it all. With all the upgrades possible this machine is a Ferrari.

Super Fast Workhorse
We needed a laptop that was robust enough to run Final Cut Pro and Lightroom and this one is perfect. The new 8th generation is SO MUCH faster than the previous version and the i7 six core processor never even hiccups even when we are editing RAW 4k video. It is simply a beast!

Better than Apple Store
Bought this laptop brand new for 2099, while at Apple its 2600, and paid NO sales tax. Now the one weird thing about this store is that they deliver on Saturday, but you cant access their website on Saturday. Other than that its been a greatexperience for us. Would recommend.

Amazing device
Amazing device for your day 2 day work. Really loved the touch bar. Only complaint is that using SD cards with attachments is difficult. Removing card, pulls it the attachment too. While buying an attachment, look for one with a cable and not one that fits on MacBook directly

Avoid Mac Book Pro
My first one purchased had difficulty with the speakers ....one quit working. Purchased a second a few months ago......the wifi does n to work, even though it's connected it will continue to look for networks...unable to use the internet. I am done wasting money with Apple.

Really awesome, but it's pricy!
I am just giving 3 stars because of the price. Even though it's a great computer, the price is really really high. There is one thing I hate in these new Apple computers: You have to buy them like they are and you can not upgrade anything inside them later. I hate this!

I could not resist 1TB SSD and 32GB RAM.
I originally wanted to get 13 MBP with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD. But a year old 15 MBP with 32GB and 1TB was on sale. I definitely love it. I am getting used to the touchbar and the hated keyboard. I don't think they are bad as people say they are, in my personal opinion.

MacBook Pro Excellent product
Great specification...would advise the purchase of a Hyper Drive to allow multiple USB and SD and HDMI connection. Slim, lightweight and powerful. Battery life is about 4 hrs average currently. The MacBook is easily scratched so a padded case is a wise purchase.

Best price in town
I looked high and low for the best price on a mac, the B&H deal was too good to pass up. No Taxes and next day shipping cant be beat.(This was the Christmas sale) The device is working as expected and the only thing i wish i had done was get the 32gb model.

FAST AND FURIOUS
This machine is an upgrade from and earlier (mid 2013) Mac Book Pro. It simply blazes. No bogging, plenty of storage and memory. Look at this as a great investment-three to five years. Lots of time before it hits the confines of a solid state flash drive.

Lost money. Totally unsatisfactory
I bought this MaxBook Pro for photo editing. It worked exactly for one year, until warranty expiry. On a Saturday afternoon the machine died and there was no way to resuscitate it. It never booted again. Lost money. I will never buy anything Apple again.

Simply love it
This is my first Mac! Swtichingfrom windows is easier than I expected and everything just worked! Keyboard is great, speaker and screen are excellent, trackpad is so good I just dropped my mice. A good experience with B and H, will come back soon!

2018 15" mbp
Great machine! Not the cheapest one you can buy, but very fast, superb screen. buying a good thunderbolt 3 to multi USB hub is a good move if you have scanners, drives, etc. ONE TB3 to DisplayPort cable works great driving a 4K 27" Dell monitor.

I got the 32GB RAM 15" model since you can't upgrade in the future. This MacBook Pro is great if you have the money. I can see that it will last for a long time. Cons: - price. It's very expensive especially if u get the 32GB model.

Nice upgrade
I work as digital tech and fashion photographer using Capture One Pro with tethering cameras as work flow. This is a nice upgrade from my old 2013 MacBook Pro retina. Very fast processor allow super fast data back-ups of my shootings!

elegant powerhouse
Exceeds all expectations. Touch Bar is easy to use, yet functional. Easy setup. The large trackpad is ideal for photography and graphics projects. Battery life is superb. My only disappointment is there is no charging indicator light.

Super light and a real powerhouse!
I am a photographer and debated the iMac Pro or MacBook Pro. While not as powerful, I do not regret what I do not have and love the added mobility the laptop brings. Everything is super fast and the SED SSD is a added bonus for me.

Lots of noise, right decision
Coming from a i7 2014 MBP, I could not see buying another i7. The 2014 is still working like new, just a little slow. The i9 is a work horse teamed up with FCPX. Sad about the price but if its still good in 2025 I will be happy.

Great laptop
So far the machine works very well. Getting used to the large trackpad can be a bit frustrating, but otherwise all other features are great: keyboard is smooth, the Touch Bar is awesome (especially the fingerprint feature).

The patch fixed the throttling issues.
If you read the initial reviews about there i9 being slower than the i7's, Apple has released a patch and fixed the i9 throttling bug and this thing screams. There are many updated videos so do the research on the patch!
