Ive been looking into getting this laptop since it was released, and after some research I decided to go for it. It is a huge upgrade from my 2015 MacBook Air. The screen quality is much better, and the speakers are much louder! I couldnt be happier with my laptop!

Worth the investment
After years of holding out, I finally purchased my very first MacBook Air. The design and system efficiency is exactly as described online. It is surprisingly user friendly and easily transportable. I wont be going back to my Dell or Lenovo in the future!

300 NITs Screen
Hello, I had all sorts of reservations from reviews making a big deal of the screens low light registration of 300 NITs. First, I found that Lenovos X1 Carbon is also 300 NITs. Secondly, the screens brightness is not a problem. Happy with my purchase.

Couple of years too late, but still a welcome change.
With a heavy heart, I had to replace my 7-year-old Air as it was already on its last legs. Was deciding between this and the new Pro, but the price swayed me. The new Pro was just too expensive for my needs. Not to say that this was cheap, but Ive learned to live with the Apple tax. This one is just right, so far. Grainy, Blurry Facetime HD Cam
Right out of the box, when I started checking all features of the new macbook air, the facetime hd camera was grainy, blurry. I tried FaceTime app, Photo Booth app, Facebook Messenger Video Call app, Skype app, all of which have the same result, poor quality hd camera.

Delivered as promised
Received my new MacBook Air as promised. While I have other Apple products this is my first experience with a Mac. So far I like it! Keyboard takes a bit of getting used to but seems responsive. Like the tracpad but I need to learn how the various motions function.

First time with a MacBook Air - and I love it!
As someone who has been working on a 2012 MacBook Pro for the past six years, this computer is such a nice change. Its lightweight, portable, runs all my applications really well (and quickly), has great battery life, and just has given me a great overall user experience. Not to mention, we got this computer on sale from B&H right after the holiday season which was a bonus. I recommend to anyone who is a student or is just looking for a personal computer to do day-to-day work on - its really worth the money!

Exactly what I was hoping for
Replaced a mid-2012 15 non retina Macbook Pro so the size difference is awesome. Screen looks awesome, plenty fast enough for my use. Battery life ranges between 10-13 hours based on what I have been doing. Price on B&H was the best I have seen

Great product but...
This product is awesome and I loved it straight out of the box and during all my setup. I have always been a PC guy and hated Macs including the OS. Great product & Retailer
B&H delivered this excellent Mac on time as promised! Easy to configure what I wanted amd it was in stock around Christmas which was great, even Apple couldnt deliver for two weeks past when B&H did. I am decommissioning and older slow Mac Book Pro and an 11.6 Air that is several years old. I went for 512gb on the SSD but only 8GB RAM after reading several reviews. It is an excellent machine and great purchase with a small discount offered by B&H. Great transaction!! Will be back!

Does everything I expected
My granddaughter asked for a computer for Christmas. We are an Apple centric family so the MacBook Air was the obvious choice for her needs. Setup up was intuitive and quick. iMessage and Facebook required a call to Apple support for security and unblocking but was quickly and courteously resolved. Beautiful Retina display is a great improvement. Simple, user friendly, and plenty powerful for its intended purpose. USB c inputs require a dongle but allows her to use older USB drives and peripheral devices. I dont find this to be a problem. Very satisfied.

Solid build, but nothing spectacular
Apple could have made this computer, at least, two years ago. Even though they should have, it is still a solid machine and an improvement over the old MBA design. Strengths: new T2 chip, keyboard, fingerprint scanner, and retina screen. Weaknesses: processor, front facing camera

Great Lightroom machine, but two few ports
Got this for our photo trips to replace a 2013 Macbook Pro that still works well, for two reasons: 1) needed more disk space & dont want to use an external drive (this one has 2TB vs .5TB on older Mac) 2) lighter weight, which can be an issue for cabin luggage on smaller aircraft in Africa and other places Display is beautiful, 2TB SSD is fantastic, and larger trackpad is easier than previous Macs. My First Apple PC
Im Still fumbling around a bit. But, I am taking a Mac class at an Apple Store next week. But I have identified some Pros and Cons regarding this machine. A solidly built MacBook Air with a nice balance of features
This latest release has a nice balance of size, form factor and weight. Since Im not a heavy graphics user or gamer, the processor speed seems more than adequate for my business use. The retina screen is beautiful. My only beef is the price gouging Apple charges for RAM & HD upgrades over the base model.
