Amazon Echo Show 5 - Charcoal
Very neat device.
Bought this to replace an alarm radio that was always 5 minutes slow. I have double vision without my specs on so its much more convenient to simply say "Alexa stop" in the morning. Sound quality is not great but from such a small unit its acceptable but then I don't use it for playing music. The ability to 'Drop in' on the kitchen Alexa and order a cup of tea from the missus, now that's priceless.

Great lil bit of kit

Amazon echo a great little device
Very easy to instal and use. Makes listening to music very easy. Think my cd's may end up in the charity shop! Amazing the questions it can answer. Getting it at a reduced price made it even better value.

Good but not as good as expected
Fairly easy to use, although when asking Alexa to play a specific song she can’t unless it’s in your library, but disappointed as it constantly promotes signed up to Amazon music at a cost per month to do the things we want it to.

Echo show
I purchased both a show 5 and show 8 and honestly love them both. It's super handy to have the screen and they look sleek. I'm still navigating the device and things it can do but I've put the show 8 in the kitchen to help with cooking methods being able to watch as I'm doing the food. The smaller show 5 has replaced my old radio alarm clock and it's just lovely as I have my photos generating randomly as a screen saver.

Perfect for my daughter’s present
Bought this for my daughter who lives and works in London. She is in a shared house with no sound system in her room, needless to say is delighted with both the sound quality, musically and the ability to call or video call her friends. There are so many app additions to the ‘Alexa’ from shopping lists, alarms, reminders etc. All in all a great purchase at a fab price.

nice bit of kit
Well put together looks and sounds good for the size easy to use when connected to hub by wi fi mine is bt and was a pain but i got it going now and its brill speak to it for music and alarm clock and loads more but you will have to get a amazon account for it to work...

With the screen you can learn all the words to your favourite songs as you listen...saves you make up words you don't know.

Big things come in small packages!
It’s big enough to view comfortably, can use for skpe calls family in New Zealand and ask it to set timer if cooking. The sound quality is good abc leave it on radio for the dogs while at work. Fab device with a good price!!

Great addition to your smart home!
Am an avid user of echo products. This was purchased for my brother as a xmas present and was the first version ive purchased and used with a screen. Set up easy and was pleased with sound quality&display for the size of device and £££. Good compact size to use as a clock for bedroom tho I think my bro is going to keep on kitchen worktop/ breakfast bar at his place. He was very pleased with his gift and his OH is apparently eyeing up one for herself. Will be purchasing myself one at some point.

Not too obtrusive sound could be better
It’s like ronseal it does exactly what is says on the tin. Sound quality could be abit better but I’m just been picky, you can use the aux out to use a better speaker system ie your Hi fit system or Bose speaker.
