It plays music so for he price it’s a great speaker but it does much more. It’s great for playing games setting reminders and it even locks the car door as well as turning off lights and plug sockets.

Say hello to Alexa
Early days yet but a great piece of kit. Speaker is surprisingly good for a small unit and gives you good sound, bass tones are comfortable and the sound does fill a relatively large area. Using through Amazon Prime so no extra cost for 2m song titles and find the Tune In option, radio, really useful as saves turning on other equipment. Voice control works well from anywhere in the room. So far, a good purchase decision.

Good sound plus other features
Along with Amazon Music Unlimited, the Echo is super for playing any music at any time. Its other features [news, weather] are also useful ... but don't bother with the awful jokes!

Fantastic. Kids love it.
Got this for the kids who all love music. They love it. Has been pretty good at understanding what they are asking. Great sound out of it aswell. Highly recommend!

Such a great addition
Love the aesthetic of the product and the kids love getting Alexa to tell them jokes. From music to turning lights on and off, just a great bit of kit. The drop in feature is also fantastic way of checking on family when you’re out. Want a couple of dots now so I don’t have to shout around the house.

Looks good
It’s a good speaker and you can ask Alexa questions but most of the time she responds with ‘I don’t know that’ it will connect to an iPhone through Bluetooth but to play music directly through voice commands you need Amazon music (a paid subscription) do not have lots of background noise when asking questions as the noise interferes and Alexa cannot pick up your request. The list function is good and Alexa will remind you.

Great bit of kit
Love the Amazon Echo.Was out of stock everywhere except one shop in the centre of Sheffield.Reserved and picked up on New Years day to be greeted by lovely smiling staff which I probably wouldnt have been working NYD.Well done staff at Angel Street Sheffield.Go girls!!Would recommend this peice of kit to anyone.Listen to the radio daily.Ask Alexa questions constantly.The sound is brilliant.Could do with another for my bedroom now!!

Looks and sounds amazing would highly recommend
Sometimes she gets a little bit confused with what you are saying but other than that plays every song I have chosen and answers any questions, puts entries into my phone calendar, great for making shopping lists and great fun for quiz nights.

Loved it
Set up is bit confusing but once you get passed that it's great for use in the kitchen. I loved it that much I brought the dot for my bedroom and opened up further opportunities. You don't have to be an amazon prime customer however you do need a music subscription

This is a fantastic bit of kit you ask it something and it gives you the answer or finds a radio station for you It can read you a book,play any song you ask it,tells you the weather gives you train times. And lots more

Argos wins
Amazon was sold out after Christmas and luckily we found one in the new Nairn store. A bit of a motor too but well worth the smile on my husbands face. The Echo is a fabulous gadget,. You can play music from your playlist, ask for weather reports, the all important football scores. We also have a dot. Would recommend anyone buying these.

Useful and fun
