Amazon Echo (2nd generation) - Heather Grey
This is our second one.
We originally bought one for the kitchen but it's in the lounge so bought this one for the kitchen. We really like them. Volume and sound quality are good for this price point. Can be linked so both play the same. You do need to subscribe to some Amazon services so check how you want to use it before you buy. Alexa isn't Google so there are gaps in some information.

Amazing
My amazon echo is brilliant, so many different uses! It is so helpful in every aspect of everyday life! From reminders, to facts of the day, music, timers, general knowledge etc! So pleased with it, I’m definitely getting one for every room in the house!

alexa a new friend
got amazon echo for myself as there is so much alexa can do from appointments reminder to shopping list, it blends in nicely and very good quality.

Amazon Echo
Very easy to set up. Most anything you want to know ask Alexa. Really good sound reproduction for a huge selection of music across all the genres, courtesy of Amazon Music or Prime.

Excellent speaker quality
This Echo has proven a huge hit with the family, we all enjoy the ease of communication with Alexa and the speaker quality is excellent. We've had it for a week and are now looking to add these little beauties to other rooms in the house. I would definatly recommend the Amazon Echo to anyone ☺

Echo series 2
Not much to say it does exactly what it’s supposed to, with only one exception and this might be isolated the echo refuses to accept I live in the location I do, choosing to tell me I live in a neighbouring town.... that asside I love it, Amazon music is fab and if it’s put in the right place it sounds quite good too.

My Amazon 2nd Genertion look fab in my living room
Talking to Alexa is a joy , it's now a habit saying good morning to her also goodnight ,The funny things she replies makes me laugh , The music sounds really good never played music so much would not be with out my Amazon Echo 2nd generation would miss Alexa so much .

Easy set up and love this new fabric option
Looks much smarter than my original one... everyone needs Alexa in their lives . Keeps the grandchildren entertained for hours too and they actually now enjoy homework.

Faultless five minute wonder
Alexa is clever and innovative. She will put smiles on the faces and giggles in the throats of children but adults be warned this will be a costly five minute wonder for the less mature among us. Great fun and an excellent item.

Fantastic home help
I have to say alexa is great.. In fact the kit is so cool we purchased echo dots for other parts of the house. Its simple to set up all you need is the alexa app and download some skills. I would recommend purchasing amazon prime to get the full benefits of the echo but it's not a necessaty.

Not skynet thankfully
Bought this after much mulling over google, amazon & Apple choices. Google lost because I just don’t trust where my data goes, Apple on price & lack of support for 3rd party apps. Alexa for me just works out of the box, linked to my premium Spotify account & have millions of song choices at my command. Doesn’t seem to like Spotify playlists though, so drops a mark as I can’t just say ‘Alexa, play my funky chicken playlist’. Shame, otherwise perfect.

Gives a great sound from a small item.
This Echo gives an impressive sound from such a small item. Easy to setup as long as you have your wi-fi password. I had mine up and running in a few minutes through the Amazon Alexa app on my phone. If you wish to stream music from Amazon then a subscription is required or you can connect to a phone or other audio device with a cable.

Quick and easy to use.
The echo is easy to use and looks smart and stylish when placed in any room. Communicating with the echo is easy enough from a distance and it is able to respond to commands from a range of voices. A great resource and a fun edition to the family home!

Love it
I love the echo. I cannot compare it to google home as I have never owned it. The second generation has an impoved design compared to its predecessor and a removable sleeve (heather grey in my case). I found it to be very responsive and the speaker audio is crisp and clear. I never thought I would be buying a smart bulb but I will now! Alexa is great at replying to questions, setting up lists, reminders and more. Recommended!!

Alexa is brilliant
They call it sandstone in colour its more of a very very light grey , I have fallen in love with this product is easy to set up and use I would recommend signing up to Amazon music at 3.99 a month as you seem to be able to play anything you ask for with this. Now want another one for the bedroom.
