Great device and the kids are loving it
Got this one as a Christmas present and it was very much appreciated. Easy to setup and was up and running and playing music within minutes. Checked for the best addons online and the whole family was later using the Echo to play Trivial Pursuit on Christmas morning. Great device with good addons for a decent price.

Really enjoying using my echo. Love using the trivia , riddle of the day, and the reminders. The only thing that irritates me is when I have spoken clearly and it has repeated back as something entirely different.

Very powerful piece of technology
Bought as a Christmas present for my 93 year old Mum - she’s delighted and really enjoying the easy access to music, news, information, etc. Was surprised at how compact the Echo is and the quality of sound when playing music. It also provides a friendly voice to make living alone less ‘lonely’. However buyers do need to be aware that you need a smart phone or similar device to set it up and access the range of ‘skills’ Amazon offers.

Amazon echo is good BUT
This is good but only if you have an amazon account , Spotify accounts , or some sort of premium music account sound is fine could do with more bass

Alexa is a great addition to the home. She comes with lots of hidden extras that can be easily accessed and has lots of tips and advice via email once registered or you can just ask her what can you do for me today ?

Very pleased ordered and reserved online, the process was simple and worked well - purchased Alexa for a family member who’s in his 80’s and it’s only when you get it home you realise exactly how much Alexa does - he loves it and now wouldn’t be without it

Amazon Alexa purchase at Stornoway Argos
I was looking for a last minute Xmas gift for my wife. I went to the Stornoway Argos store and got great advice and service from the staff purchased an Alexa, which everyone in the family loves my 4 year old loves telling it to play baby shark. And I occasionally get to chill out and listen to my own tunes

I Love Alexa
I bought this as a Christmas Present for my mum.. but now I want one!! It's great.. the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because sometimes you have to shout at it a few times before it hears you over the music and it's advertised as hearing you clearly at all times, maybe others can but not ours. It's VERY EASY to set up.. just take it out of the box ..plug it in.. download the app and away you go.. Great volume.. It's definitely a huge hit with me.. I LOVE IT..

So useful and great to use
Really love this. So easy to play music and we use it for shopping lists aswell. Just whenever we think of something we need just shout “Alexa , add -“ to shopping list and it saves straight away to my phone. Very handy

Amazing really.
Impressive sound and functions given the size and price. One slight problem was setting up. It took ages to connect to the internet. I'm not sure if this was down to Xmas problems as it suddenly seemed to work without me doing anything different.

Great for everyday use and knows a lot of things, but its a shame you need to pay for amazon music. Another thing is that when whispering fairly loudly, Alexa cant hear you

This is an exceptional devise.
This device is a multi tasking genius. It plays music, I can listen to dab radio, remembers my appointments and enhances features on my phone once linked into it. I find the 'drop in app particularly helpful when trying to get the attention of my 19yr old son 'get the pots sorted mate'...which sadly is frequently ignored. The quality of the speaker is brilliant and appears to penetrate every corner of my house from my office where it's situated.

Highly recommend Alexa ....absolutely fantastic & definitely worth every penny! Great Christmas present the only thing she couldn’t do was take down the Christmas tree!!!
