Great piece of kit.
The original echo was so useful but with the show it has opened up even more opportunities for using it. In the kitchen we use it for receipes Just ask for what you want and the receipes are displayed. Still great for music but now you can watch the video to go with the song.

Great smart display speaker.
Already had an echo dot and wanted another for different room, really like the display as also acts as clock for bedroom. For the size the sound is very good. Can has replaced clock, dab radio, digital photo frame and smart speaker all in one item. Tempted to get another for different room. Love it.

Great for memory loss
I suffer with memory loss and use this a memory bank and it helps me not burn food !!! the kids are happy now .

Brilliant piece of equipment fab for video calling
Very easy to use and great to link with the other equipment in the house. Highly recommend for calling family and friends with the use of video.

Other than the fact it should come with a stand rather than having to buy the stand separate it's a great bit of kit but for the price it really should come with a stand

Extremely Good Tech
The sound quality is excellent and has a suprising level of bass. Overall compatibility with other smart tech is brilliant. A helpful gadget to set reminders, add events to calendars, plan journeys and play music.

Great addition to my kitchen
Great addition to my Amazon echo plus. Wanted an Echo Show for when I'm cooking in the kitchen so I can listen to music or watch Amazon Prime Video. It's a good size, I couldn't justify the price difference for the Show 10 as the Show 8 is adequate in size for viewing. Easy to connect to my network. It's also awesome for making video calls between Echo devices. Highly recommend if you're on the Amazon ecosystem of home devices.

Excellent looking device and easy to set up
Great Echo product and looks the part in our kitchen. Sound is much better than other Echo devices I own and offers an excellent graphic addition to Alexa.

A superb product, great speaker which surprised all of us! So many features and the ability to video call has caused us to purchase another for the grandparents! Def recommend but watch out for the children that repeatedly ask Alexa to blow off!

Great item. If you dont use amazon for everything (music, tv prime) etc it can be a little limited but we searchusic via you tube which helps. Kids love it, useful for homework and 'riddle if the day's Great item!

Nice design clear screen
Nicely boxed and presented. Once out the box it was very easy to connect to my home Wifi and Amazon account. I was surprised how much it could help with day to day things.

Good fun to have around
Music streaming services but the the best thing about it is it removes a lot of friction from finding things out and making notes of things you need. Just add in reminders, make shopping lists, get them on your phone, ask for weather details, capital city names, who someone is, where somewhere is, conversions and calculations etc , it just makes things so easy.

Best amazon product I have ever bought , it looks great sounds great and easy to set up . I have a show 5 which is now upstairs as an alarm click and back up to my echos . Highly recommend

Lived up to Expectations
Is great for the office or kitchen. Many features including great looking HD Screen and Stereo Speakers. I thought I would be able to watch Netflix TV but only Amazon Prime and Youtube. Still great though! As a Prime member you can also make a FREE music playlist and stream it from this device but only with selected songs.

Excellent product.
Can't compare it with previous versions as it is my first device but as far as Echo Show 8 is concerned, it has a decent screen size with excellent resolution. The quality of speakers is exceptional.

Alexa with display
This my second Alexa so decided to have the one with display which shows time and weather without the need to ask Haven’t got to used many of the extra features yet but already found improvements over the gen 1 Alexa

Displays usefull and helpful information
The Show has all the benefits of the Echo Dot and more. Not only does Alexa react to instructions but she also displays on the screen what is happening with that request. Works well with my Ring Door Bell and allows us to view who is at the door as well as speak to them. It displays live views upon request. Display is clear and defined, good colour representation as well as sharp audio reproduction. Easy to setup, very user friendly. A worthwhile purchase.

Sadly it was faulty and had to take it back
From the few moments that it was working correctly it seemed to be a very good addition to my echo dot however there seemed to be some glitch during the set up and this unit kept flashing between the internet start up screen and its home screen, so I decided to take it back and get my money rather than a replacement. Furthermore after further checking it seems that the clock can only be displayed in the corner rather than full screen, so I might consider the show 5 as a replacement instead.

Good device if you already have Amazon Prime
Easy to set up, clear display & surprisingly decent sound for its size, more than good enough for kitchen listening, works well with prime video & music plus Spotify, just wish you could play YouTube videos, good with weather & news services, be aware if you have more than one Alexa device in a different room this one will still pick up your voice & it can get a little confused, overall a good buy for the price

My echo show looks amazing.
Echo show 8 has great sound quality compared to the dot, screen resolution is fantastic and easy to set up. Defo recommend.
