I purchased this product to install on the altar as a pick up for audio during the consecration. Often border mics are poor quality in this price range, but found the pick up angle, quality of response to frequency spectrum, and resistance to surface noise is remarkable for this price range. Small foot print. Easily integrated into a wireless receiver as I avoided cumbersome and unsightly wires to preserve the athstetics of the altar area. Howeve... Show Morer, it would be nice if we had an option for a white color that would blend better with fabrics. Black is still neutral, but would prefer white. The specs did not mention if the surface of the area mic could be painted, or if it did, I did not find it. So I kept it as is to preserve its integrity.Show Less
